It also is nice that the attraction is based on light, so you aren't more likely to attract a bunch more insects (vs. something like apple cider vinegar and dish soap for fruit flies). I think this item will be perfect in the summer months in the garage to keep pests out and away from us! The refills that they offer are nice as well so you don't have to keep buying the plug in each time.

I have several house plants, a few being in the kitchen so I felt this product would be perfect for me in my kitchen when I get the occasional gnats from my plants, especially in warmer months. This is super easy to use, you literally unpackage it, there is a refill that you place in there where you remove a protector for both sides and it's sticky on both sides (catching the bugs) and that's it- you plug it in once ready. When the refill is full of bugs you just throw away and replace the refill- this is better than what I thought the product featured which was some sort of receptacle that had to be emptied periodically. But on that note, I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I live in a dry climate so I'm a little concerned about the lifespan of the refill. Even still the packaging recommends to replace every two weeks, meaning buying refills every month which I feel could get expensive after a year. If you have a gnat problem or fruit flies this is worth it but for general day to day prevention I don't know how practical this could be against the refill cost.

This item is very easy assemble and the instructions have great clarity on how to insert the trap and set it up. When plugged in, the trap has a nice illuminated light that does a good job as a night light as well. I've used this product throughout all seasons and it never fails to catch house flies and the most annoying insects in your house.

I've used light traps before and really like them. What sets this one apart in my mind is that it includes a panel that is sticky on both sides. That goes a long way in helping to cut down on fruit flies as well as all sorts of other household bugs. I'll be interested to see how well the light attracts them!

It's out of the way so you barely notice it. It's made really well and seems high quality. It works really well to attract and trap pesky flying bugs of all kinds. They fly right to it and they're gone. I like that it's an eco friendly, non chemical way to kill bugs around my home. It feels really safe for my family and pets. The startup kit is a little pricey but you do get extra refills, so it's a pretty decent value. I love that this brand is coming out with clean bug killers. Once you get the startup kit you just get the replacement pads and you're good to go. No more fighting bugs.
