Simply peel both sides of refill and insert into the device. You will feel it "snap" into place. I love that it is chemical free. It is a good size ...approx 5 3/8" tall by 3". Zero smell which is great. The light is not super bright but definitely could definitely double as a night light. I can not say how well it actually works yet because I was only given 6 hours buy and review! With that said.... I can't imagine it wouldn't work with the "glue" being so sticky. I could tell it was pretty strong when peeling off the outer coverings on both sides and the light should definitely attract bugs.

I like how it looks and that it's not too big. I don't see any fruit flies falling for the light. Hopefully it will change and they fall in the trap.

I installed the product in my kitchen where we have an issue in the spring with small gnats that are very annoying. The product is light weight and has absolutely no bug repellent smell. It looks nice with the blue insert and the light. Doesn't look like a bug trap. I am very excited to see how well this works once the weather gets warmer.

I like the sleek design and replaceable sticky pads. It's sticky on both sides and collects several insects at a time. I have it around my fruit to avoid gnats. Will definitely purchase again.

You need to plug this into the wall directly for it to work properly. You can't use it with an extension cord. You also can't plug it into an outlet extender. Most of my outlets are behind furniture, so this is not going to do the best job for me. The outlet that I can use is pretty low to the ground, so I'm not sure it's attracting insects there. I have small small gnats that fly around willy-nilly and I do think they are attracted by light. This unit has a light and a sticky panel where the insects get stuck. Basically, it's fly paper with a light. It does work but you need to know where you can plug it in before you get it. If you have a suitable outlet, this should be pretty good.

I have tried the stem spray and it did a great job clearing my house during spring time when ants come inside the house and now I do have mosquitoes and the small flies as well when we open the deck door. I feel safe having this around my cat and also, it looks very nice.

Also, I feel safe having this trap around food and other kitchen materials. This appears to be a safe and effective trap around children and pets as well.

Would be nice if it came with more than 1 trap. Would also be nice if there was an outlet on the front of the trap to not block one of the outlets. Interested to see how long it is effective before needing to change.

Product is discrete it looks just like a regular night light and not obvious. Consider this product for smaller insects like fruit flies or house flies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably my favorite way to deal with insects inside! There is no toxic smell or poison, and the light is actually kinda nice, it works! We had an issue with drain flies and this has been amazing! It catches things you didn't even know you had. Easy to use and very durable! Highly recommend!
