All you have to do is peel the sides and attach to the plug in. It's also a bonus night light so no lights have to be left on. The pad seems super sticky so I think it's going to work incredibly well at catching gnats that we get every year in the warmer weather. The light is definitely going to help to attract them. So far I don't see anything negative about this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used one of these before but I liked this one a lot more than the brand I used previously. It's much more lightweight and much stickier. Needless to say, I had 5 or 6 flies attached to it the morning after I plugged it in!

Having a glowing blue light will take some getting used to, but should be worth it if works. Its only been a few hours, but I'm optimistic!

The stem flying insects light trap omits a blue light when plugged in to attract bugs. I like that the light is bright enough to do its job without being too much. The set up is quick and easy, it takes about 15 seconds to install. The best part is that the trap refills are conveniently located in a little slot right behind the light which makes it very quick and simple to replace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love when starter kits comes with a refill. These come in handy during the summer for me bc it's when I see those gnats flying around the kitchen. Also summer means house flies and fruit flies. I haven't seen house flies yet so I'm curious if it'll be strong enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this STEM Flying insect light trap set, it goes well with any decor design wise but I feel like this is pretty ineffective for my main concern which is fruit flies. I found it only attracted two total flies over the week I've had it plugged in 24/7 and I still had a fruit fly issue. I feel this will do very well for small moths and other light attracted insects just personally didn't do too well for my particular need. The adhesive is very good quality, thick and a lot of stick to it, I also live that you can grab your old one out without touching any bugs or residue and easily slide in the new one.

The flying insects light trap has a blue light it emits, that isn't harsh on the eyes like typical bug zappers. The only issue I kept running into was whenever I pulled the light from the outlet, I'd accidentally touch the back of the sticky trap. That is just something minor I'd need to adjust to, the product itself is something I'd use again.

At my house we buy a lot of fruit so sometimes we have fruit flys or when letting my dog come back in from being outside a flying bug will sneak in. I love STEM light trap because it doesn't have to be close to the door but the light on it will attract the bugs and catch them. This STEM light has decreased the flying bugs I see in my house. I have loved the other stem products so I knew when they came out with the light I had to get my hands on it and I absolutely love it. It did not disappoint. Thank you STEM!
