After reading the positive reviews I thought this might be the answer for the gnat/fruit fly problem this year. It has been plugged in for almost two weeks and even though they are flying around it, not a single one has flown into the trap. I've moved it to another plug in the kitchen and still nothing. I was told to close the curtains in the kitchen at night so that it was very dark and that they would fly to it, but that didn't help either. This was a complete waste of money and it can't be repackaged to be returned. I have more success with apple cider vinegar in a lid on the windowsill. This deserves zero stars.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.Product received as expected. Assembly and i installation we're a breeze and i like the fact that it doubles as a nightlight. My dogs love the fact that it is chemiclw free and that the glue trap is hidden behind a plastic panel that protects against accidental licks if. Places near the floor. It's icky been plugged in a day or so and no bugs yet but I didn't really have a bug problem so this is really preventative for me and I can see that it should work as intended. T

It's easy to setup and it provides a pleasant look while in use. The insects are attracted to the light and get stuck on the pad. I like that it's no mess and traps are disposable.

Only 4 instructions and the blue light filter snaps in super easy. I decided to install it in my bathroom so it doubles as a nightlight. The product is odor free so I don't have to worry about any smells. I love it!

I use this to catch fruit flies and the light attracts them immediately. We get a few a day on the trap but it has stopped them from being in my kitchen which is just the next room over. I will get the refills because this has been the most effective product I have used.

I like the sleek design and replaceable sticky pads. It's sticky on both sides and collects several insects at a time. I have it around my fruit to avoid gnats. Will definitely purchase again.

You need to plug this into the wall directly for it to work properly. You can't use it with an extension cord. You also can't plug it into an outlet extender. Most of my outlets are behind furniture, so this is not going to do the best job for me. The outlet that I can use is pretty low to the ground, so I'm not sure it's attracting insects there. I have small small gnats that fly around willy-nilly and I do think they are attracted by light. This unit has a light and a sticky panel where the insects get stuck. Basically, it's fly paper with a light. It does work but you need to know where you can plug it in before you get it. If you have a suitable outlet, this should be pretty good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works so well in the bathroom or if you have an outlet close to the garbage or sink. It's does protrude quite a bit from the wall and isn't quite as flushed as I expected but that is because of where you need to add the refills. It's definitely a put and forget solution, but if you have a lot of bugs probably check it daily. For prevention it doesn't really get in the way.
