It honestly works better than some zappers thrice it's size. It emits this nice blue color and after leaving it overnight, I've already seen a couple of bugs caught. The only downside is that it comes with only one sticky trap, it would be better if there were two.

I have had it plugged in by the fruit basket in my kitchen for a couple hours and I have already caught 4 gnats and a mosquito. Large flies do not seem drawn to it as I have not caught any. The initial cost is a bit steep, but size makes it convenient and discrete. It's super easy to get started, the instructions are accurate and easy to follow. I plan to get a second one for my bathroom as I get gnats in my plants.

I think the quality of this product is higher than others like it that I've had in the past. The price does seem a bit steep for everything that's included (only one "refill" is included - I thought that was indicating there was 2) but this also has a hard plastic piece that spreads the light better. The glue trap is also a lot thicker, and more sturdy than the paper ones I've previously used. It also has glue on both sides of the trap so it is basically like having 2 traps. The glue trap is also easy to remove and I think this will have a lot of success with the gnat problem I've been having.

The product is very easy to install and it's odorless since it doesn't use any insecticide which is really important to me as I cannot use any of the products that have an overwhelming chemical smell. It emits a relaxing blue light which attracts flying insects while preventing these pesky ones, which are vehicles for bacteria, viruses and parasites from reproducing in our food or landing on it.

Living in Florida, I will try anything to decrease the amount of bugs that find their way into my home. Let me just say, as the title suggests.. this works embarrassingly well. This was after 12 hours of it being plugged in. 4 bugs!! This was located in a small room where I have one live plant, but to be honest I'd never seen bugs in there before. At first, I was a little disappointed that it only came with one sticky sheet in the starter kit, but then I realized it's double sided! I have a competitor brand UV bug light that is only one sided, so I end up having to replace them more often.. with these it's like a 2 for 1! What's also unique is that there's a frosted plastic front so that you can see the blue light from the front (unlike competitors) but since it's frosted you still have the benefit of not seeing what it has caught. I also feel better knowing these are insecticide free, so it's safe to have in the house around kids and pets. I think this is a great value for what you get and how well it works. I think I will ‘stick' to this brand from now on just for the fact that the traps are double sided!

I know that bugs can find their way into anyone house. I be having issues with mosquitoes and gnats. What I can say about this trap is that it's easy to put together ( even though I might put the plastic on the wrong side that catches the gnats and mosquitos). It's great how the light attracts the gnats and mosquitos and kills them. No one has time to get bitten by mosquitos. After plugging it in and the next morning I saw mosquito stuck and dead on plastic. I would recommend this kit if you have problem with insects sneaking into your house.
