I plugged it in next to my fruit bowl and it attracted those little fruit flies and trapped them. No more annoying fruit flies flying around my fruits! It also acts as a nightlight which I love. The only thing I don't like is that it does need to be plugged in at all times but it works and I like it.

I have been dealing with fruit flies appearing frequently, and I am hoping this gets the job done. So far, I have yet to catch any, but the light looks like a night light and it's a blue tinted color so I think this will be effective in capturing the attention of the insects. It was very easy to set up and reminds me of a much more improved version of the ceiling stickies my mom used growing up. Those were extremely gross, so I enjoy knowing that the sticker part of this trap is behind the light and somewhat out of sight.
