I bought a similar product - but a different brand and heard a high pitched ringing sound coming from the trap. But with the STEM trap I had no issues. I didn't hear any noise coming from it. I am definitely happier with this one than the other brand I bought.

It's been doing a pretty good job and seems eco-friendly I also think it's stylish and looks great in my house. No one would know that it's for bugs. I wish it had a few different light color options. The blue doesn't really go with my decor, but for the time it would be plugged in. It shouldn't be a problem. My only concern is if people touch the film because it's obviously sticky and unique to look at so might attract attention from people and especially little hands.
