This is a plug in device that attracts the flying insects in my house and they fly to the light. The bugs get caught and I can throw out and add the replacement when it's full. It fits tons of tiny bugs like fruit flies that I get when the weather turns warm. I like to use these at home as well as when in my rv at a campground. The device is attractive to look at and takes up little space.

Insert the refill into the device base. Plug the trap into a wall socket near common insect hangouts. The trap should be positioned upright. When blue light is on, it starts to work. Keep the trap plugged in 24/7. When full, unplug the trap and replace with a new refill. For Best Results: Place traps in areas with heavy flying insect activity and keep plugged in 24/7. Replace cartridge when its full of insects. Check refill often and dispose of it when the cartridge is full of insects. Replace refill every 14 days for best performance.

It is a pleasant dim blue light that can act as a night light as well as attracting the flying insects. It plugs into an outlet and the refill is easy to install. I haven't had it long enough to see if any insects will be trapped on the sticky surface of the refill but I have high hopes. I wish it came with one more sticky refill instead of just the one to install out of the box.

The blue light is nice as a night light. So far, no bugs have been attracted to the light though, or at least none have been caught. Not as effective as I had hoped.

A very efficient way to passively catch bugs. I like that it's less chaotic than fly paper and incorporates both light attraction and a sticky surface. It's only been in a few minutes and I can already see bugs interested in the light, as the house is dimmer. The price is a little higher than I would have expected, but it does seem to get the job done.
