It is fairly streamlined and the blue light is pleasant. What I didn't realize and am not sure I will be happy with is that it uses a sticky pad that is clearly visible behind the light to collect insects. Not too excited about seeing a bunch of bugs collecting and about having to replace the inserts. I'm going to have to find a less visible spot to put it.

The size is compact, and the design is very user-friendly and smart. I have tried to use it in both bathroom and kitchen, where I got good results. I will watch more time to see if I should really replace the refill around 14 days as suggested on the package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this product worked very well. We have a pest control come quarterly but still get unruly pests every once in a while and I feel like this has helped override what the pest control hasn't gotten. I'd buy this again depending on how long it lasts.

It's got a great blue light that also acts as a nightlight, but I have noticed it does actually attract flies that get into my house. Overall, I would buy this again for a non-toxic pest control for flies.

Conceptually, I was eager to try out this product as we tend to see a lot of gnats and fruit flies in the kitchen. As it has been a bit cooler, I haven't seen them, but I am glad to have this product around for when they do appear. It does not leave any odor and the sticky parts are "covered" and protected from easy improper touching. I have used other STEM products (aerosols) which also got the job done well. I like that the plug in is adjustable as we have some horizontal plates which would prevent a static plug from inserting properly.

As a homeowner, I've struggled with flying insects invading my space during warmer months. But thanks to the STEM Flying Insect Light Trap, those days are over! Not only does it effectively capture flying pests, but its sleek design blends seamlessly into my home decor. I can finally enjoy evenings on my patio without the nuisance of bugs. Thank you, STEM, for this innovative solution!

I picked up the STEM Flying Insect Light Trap to plug in near the door to catch any little bugs that may make it in. It's not quite warm enough for bugs but I'll be ready for them when they come. I selected this product because it is pet friendly and without any insecticides. Let's point out the few thing on the label that made me raise an eyebrow - 1) Replace refill every 14 days for best performance. 2) Plug in where there is ventilation. With those things in mind, I'm excited to use this in warmer weather.

The STEM Flying Insect Light Trap began working in no time! The fruit flies were drawn right to it and stuck to the blue sticky trap. This will be a game changer for us. Bonus that both sides are sticky! Much better product than other brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Soooo little bit of a sad story with this one. IT WORKS GREAT, but it worked SO WELL that a baby lizard got caught in it. I didn't see it until a few days later so I wasn't able to save it. The trap works very well, so I would recommend!

In just three short steps, the product is ready to use. As the trap attracts annoying pests with light, there are no harmful insecticides used, making it safe for use around people and pets. I feel that the only downside is the price point. For $20+, you're only getting the one device and one refill. Having to purchase multiple refills could become costly over time.
