I recently bought the STEM Flying Insects Light Trap to try to get rid of the constant gnats and fruit flies I kept seing at home. The first night I plugged it in, I was amazed at how fast it worked! The sticky side had already trapped 3 gnats before I went to bed. What I love about this trap is that it is pet friendly and will not be hazardous to my 2 kitties. I also enjoy the fact that the sticky part is behind the light cover so my kitties can't get to it.

But it is completely identical to another brand sold by the same company. Just branding is different on the product. I think it fits better under the STEM brand name since it's chemically insecticide free. The STEM Flying Insect Light Trap used light to attract insects and a sticky cartridge to catch these insects. The simplicity in the concept of the STEM Flying Insect Light Trap should work if you are looking for a natural solution. Flying insects are are attracted to light. The sticky adhesive traps the insect once touched. Overall, the STEM Flying Insect Light Trap works if you have issues with flying insects.

Occasionally this time of year we have some fruit flies as it starts to warm up and u was excited to see if this would help. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly this light trap started to work. Initially I put it at an outlet that was a bit lower down the wall., but We then moved it closer to the counter. The light blue light that is emitted is subtle and almost like a very dim nightlight in the evening. This trap definitely works and it's a great relief that I don't have to worry about the grandkids or the pets getting sick from it .
