It doesn't seem to make him itchy or dry so that is a plus. I am not sold on the scent, it is odd. it's not fresh, but it also not medicinal or putrid, just not my thing maybe. I am not a fan of my dog smelling like he does. Maybe it is because it was the flea and tick variety. However that being said i suppose if he goes tick and flee free, which are very prevalent in this area... i might deal with the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bathed our dog with the Flea & Tick Shampoo, rinsing after letting it sit for 10 minutes. This is the hardest part but not too bad if done outside on a warm day. The shampoo lathers well and smells amazing! I love the earthy smell the oils provide, he is still smelling fresh a couple days after use. This gives me the peace of mind knowing he's protected as we did find some ticks on him last year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four dogs, ranging in weirghts from 9 lbs to 65 lbs. They are all inside dogs so pest control on the pups is super important. This is my first time trying an all natural alternative, but I was pleasantly surprised. I could primarily smell peppermint, and while bathing it was pretty strong. I like peppermint so this was fine by me. Once the dogs dried, there was just a slight hint of it. You do have to let the shampoo sit for 10 minutes. That was tricky on some of the pups. I have not seen any ticks or fleas. We took them camping this past weekend, and I am almost positive this stuff also repelled flies. Would recommend giving it a try! Oh, this also didn't try out their skin like some other shampoos I have tried.

I love this product - it smells great, my dogs smell amazing even after a couple days and their coats were still nice and soft. Good ingredients, nothing made them allergic, dry out or react. I'd buy the shampoo again, and more because the company is a great one to back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this shampoo on my 2 dogs twice during the review period and both times the dogs looked and smelled brand new. The shampoo does say that you need to leave it on the dog for a long period of time, like most other flea and tick shampoos that I have tried. Getting my dogs to stay in the bath for that amount of time is almost impossible but I was able to get pretty close to the recommended amount of time. Best thing about the shampoo is that it leaves behind a great minty smell and both of my boys smelled great after their baths.

No waiting for oily residue to absorb or keep our other dog/kids from touching the spot of application like traditional flea and tick prevention. Would highly recommend an easy way to protect your dogs with a simple bath!

The smell is very strong as it has oils in it such as peppermint, cedarwood, rosemary and eugenol oil. I like the smell and if you don't wear gloves the smell will linger on your skin for a while even after washing you hand. If you are not sensitive to fragrances or oils then this product is perfect. My dog smelled nice and made her coat shiny. So far no ticks and no dandruff as well. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flea and tick shampoo by Zesty Paws is a nice shampoo for my golden retriever. She has a lot of fur so I love how well it lathers. I also like that it's scented similar to tea tree as it soothes her skin while targeting any fleas or ticks all while maintaining a healthy looking coat. So far we've not had any issues in the past week with fleas or ticks since using this product. I've noticed it's actually calmed her itchy skin and paws compared to before and products I've previously used. I will definitely be purchasing this and using it on my fur baby from now on. She feels and looks so clean and refreshed afterwards. Highly recommend! I also like that it's available at most retail stores. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this shampoo three times to bathe my dog. She is a long haired Australian Shepherd and tends to get very muddy especially when it rains. This shampoo left her coat silky and smelled wonderful. It seems to help repel fleas as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This is some great shampoo! My two dogs have super thick coats and are really hard to scrub clean. This shampoo penetrates the thick coat and really cleanses well!! I'll be stuck on this shampoo forever!
