How do you rate the efficiency of something like this? All I can say is; it goes down when I flush the toilet and my septic tank hasn't given me any problems.

This five month supply is perfect for rural areas. With more than one septic we need a larger supply. No driving to the local store hoping to find Rid-X.

I purchased 2 boxes. It didn't take long and I had little bugs in my bathroom and bedroom. Found out they came from the Ridx. I opened the 2nd box and it was full of the bugs. I wrapped both boxes and through them away. I will never by this version of the product again. I wrote the company many times and NEVER, NEVER, received a response. I used the email address on the box. I am now using the little blue packets of the product. No bugs in them, at least not yet.

It’s very hard to tell how much you’re using due to the box it is in. Even though it has marks for each month, it’s had to determine the level. And sometimes, like the books are open this morning, it does not have a full five months worth, so I got cheated out of almost a full month.

We have been using rid x for septic support for 40+ years. While I have never purchased 5 portions loose in one box, the perceived inconvenience of using a measuring cup (~1.5 cups ) opposed to just pouring the contents of an individual box in the commode and flushing is worth the savings.

This is a great product. The house that I live in was built in 1989 and the prior owners put this product in every month. After 20 some odd years They had the tank pumped and there was just a littlw waste and the rest was water. Anyone that has a septic tank should use this every month. IT REALLY WORKS>>i

I u se RID-X septic treatment all time for the septic. It works well. My problem is with the wording on the box. Five month supply of powder. I thought there would be five individual bags of the septic treatment. No, just 49 oz. box of loose septic treatment. I was disappointed when I opened the box to use for the first treatment.

Have used RID-X for years and will continue to do so. Is great septic treatment and needed now more than ever with increased use of bleach and antibacterial soaps. This is needed if you have a septic system - don't "go" without it! I love that I can get the bigger box at Sam's! Please continue to carry this product!

Glad to find the larger box of Rid-X. It is a much better price per dose than the smaller box. I use to purchase it in the local Sam's Club store but they no longer stock it. Unfortunately, the shipping cost will make it cost prohibitive if I am not already ordering other items to be shipped.

I bought 2 boxes of this, on my last trip. I get one box for my house and one box for my dog Scouts septic tank. This stuff will keep your tank working as it should and hopefully, you will never have to pump it. My septic is 43 years old and working fine. Just keep the harsh chemicals out of the house and stick with those old school natural products and things will flow as they should. I add the Rod-X to my septic once a month and to my dog’s septic once a month. Everything is as it should be.
