I'm 25 years old and have extremely thinning hair on my crown. I've been using rogaine for 4-5 months now, and saw results after 2 months. It's nothing drastic but enough that people no longer notice a slight bald spot. I feel a lot better going to interviews and conferences now. The only reason this product isn't 5/5 is because it doesn't work on the front of the scalp, just the crown.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Men's Rogaine is great for growing hair. It is clinically tested and proven. Regrows hair in bald spots and thickens hair. Always trying to look my best, thinning or balding is a huge factor when trying to look great. Thanks Rogaine this is a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rogaine may not be a miracle substitute for hair transplant, but it does work and is easy to use. It takes some time to notice the difference (be patient and maybe take pictures). It should be used continually, but I think of it like another grooming product - just like frequent purchases of toothpaste or razor blades etc.

I have started using this product, previously i have used 5% Minoxidil for treating my alopecia areata, it worked wonderfully. i was worried about the hair loss and receding hairline so thought of giving it a try. I do have a family history of baldness. I was wondering why there is not a single real picture of before and after usage of this product. I have taken my before usage picture, and if it works will post a 3month after usage picture also. I think this might help the future buyers

I bought the super saver package, 4 bottles of the foam, approximately one bottle per month. Per Rogaine, as I opened the 4th bottle (starting the 4th month of treatment), I should have started to see results. I see no results. What is more, I see less hair than before. I have applied it rigorously, as I wake up and as I go to bed, every day. No more than half a cap full, massaged on the scalp. I even cut my hair shorter, to avoid surrounding hair catching some of the foam, so the scalp is better exposed. No visible improvements have happened. I am 31, this was my one attempt at recovering my hair. I will go through with this last bottle, maybe I am "catching on" slower than others, and this apparent accelerated loss is only the temporary one Rogaine describes before the effect kicks in. But, per Rogaine's own instructions, this should have happened at some point during the 3rd month. I will note a few things. Rogaine states the product will not work unless it is a fairly circular, "regular" patch in your head's crown. My spot with thinning hair (technically not baldness), is irregular. Also, Rogaine states not to use it anywhere else in your head except the crown. I did use it for my receding hairline. It had the same effect, I seem to be losing hair quicker in the front too. Finally, I believe I read (not certain) that Rogaine works best in long, lower-count (read:caucasian-type) hair, whereas my hair is that typical of an African American. Perhaps my grading is harsh, but if I could say I kept the hair I had without negative effects, it would have been a wash, and value-wise, comparing Rogaine's own one-bottle price, the super saver is a good deal. But the bottom line for me is that, honestly, it seems to have done me more harm than good. Your mileage may vary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was a skeptic at first, but as the months went by i truly felt my hair in general as being fuller and thicker, i would recommend rogaine for anyone who wants to make their hair look and feel healthier than it has in years! it really works!

At 61 yrs of age and with a bald spot on crown of head....thought I'd try Rogaine. Used faithfully 2x's per day for the 4 month trial period. It was a say to use, clean, odor free. Sadly I noticed little to no improvement. Perhaps if used for greater length of time the results might be better. Well...worth a gamble, guys....nothing to lose!

After trying rogaine foam for a few months I can Honesty say.... I have some hair back! While it's not back like when I was 20. There is definitely signs of hair growth I have not seen with other products. Give rogaine a try!
