[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy to have tested the Rogain Product for Men that revitalizes hair growth. I liked the product very much and I used it everyday. It was easy to use just after you wash your hair and I did not have any reaction to the formula. I would definitely recommend it to any man who is starting to show that male pattern baldness many of us start seeing starting from after age 40 as I am. I am very pleased that I had the opportunity to write a review for this product. A few days ago I searched around for a way to contact the company about what I believe are very remarkable properties of Rogaine. I started to use Rogaine the first week of April after observing fairly dramatic hair fall day over day (12-15 hairs) starting in January of 2014. Within a few weeks after applying Rogaine in the morning after showering and then again before going to sleep, the hair fallout stopped (maybe one hair per day after showering and combing). When I first considered using Rogaine, I was hoping that I might have a double effect of stopping hair loss and actually growing hair, which happened as well as lowering my blood pressure which I've been trying to do with my internist for about 15 years taking this pill or that pill sometimes two pills in combination . My blood pressure has finally plummeted to a range close to 120/80. I then decided to have a hair transplant as back-up even though I believed Rogaine was working. I had to stop applying Rogaine three weeks prior to the hair transplant. I got the hair transplant on July 10th and waited 7 days before restarting application of Rogaine. I had to revisit the surgeon two weeks after the transplant. When he inspected my scalp, he had this broad smile on his face and commented that I was a quick healer and the results of the transplant looked very good. I did not mention that I was using Rogaine to the transplant physician. I just went to my barber who had a hair transplant in February 2014. I did not initially tell him I had the transplant and was waiting to see the expression on his face. He commented several times that my scalp looked wonderful. He kept saying this looks wonderful! I do believe the application of Rogaine sped up the follicle re-growth which I was told won't occur at least until after thirty days and then only begin to see little tiny shoots of hair. Well, it has been just six weeks since the hair transplant and I see some hairs that are at least a half to 3/4 inch long all over my scalp. I am very, very happy about this result. What I wanted to know from the company is whether they are aware of whether Rogaine has any effect on overall metabolism for certain individuals. I seem to sleep much better, consequently, I now wake up at just before 5 am in the morning and can start detailed work immediately. I don't feel sluggish anymore. I barely get hangovers anymore from excess alcohol consumption. I have more energy and attentiveness than I've had in the past 25 years!!! I do believe these physiological changes are due, perhaps at least partially, to the use of Rogaine. I'm speculating that the mechanism of action of Rogaine, as a the potent vasodilator, has somehow improved overall blood flow and accessibility of blood to major tissue systems and that's why I feel so energetic and clear-minded? I'm a Professor of Biology so I can't help but speculate or hypothesize as to why I feel so remarkably better than I have in decades. I suppose I could stop applying Rogaine as a test of this hypothesis but am afraid to do so. No other parameter in my day-to-day activities has changed that I could link to how I currently feel so I am convinced it is Rogaine driven. I love this product! I am very detailed oriented and hypothesis driven. I don't think I'm off base making these comments. I think, for me, Rogaine clearly grows hair by driving activation of hair follicles out of dormancy, even transplanted hair follicles. The most unanticipated result is how I feel now, which I believe is attributable to the use of Rogaine. I would appreciate any feed-back from the makers of Rogaine whether they have heard of such dramatic results from other users of Rogaine. Dr. K

My dad is a very good man, who has unfortunately been so stressed by raising me in my younger, wilder years, that his age started showing. His hair was getting gray, and thinning. I picked this up for him on a whim one day. He isn't good at faithfully grooming, (at least more than his daily shower) but even WITHOUT him staying on top of using the Rogaine I can personally already see a huge difference! His hair appears fuller, and his age isn't showing as much. 100% recommend.

I used to have medium hair which I styled with gel but after a while I started noticing you could see my scalp more and more as time went by. So eventually I decided to start cutting my hair extremely short which is how I have it today. I'm glad I got to give this product a try but I was skeptical at first. I used it as directed for two weeks and it was then that I started noticing little sprouts of hair starting to grow where I was bald before. It really shocked me but in such a beautiful way and now I've decided to let my hair grow back out again I can not wait till I'm able to style my hair like I used to again. If you suffer from baldness like me do yourself a huge favor and give this product a try. It won't disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was a skeptic at first, but as the months went by i truly felt my hair in general as being fuller and thicker, i would recommend rogaine for anyone who wants to make their hair look and feel healthier than it has in years! it really works!

I am very impressed by this product and am now kicking myself for not trying it many years ago. Yes - it took about four months to see results but now when I apply the foam I have a hard time even finding the bald spot I am trying to restore. I too was a doubter for years but I am now a lifetime user of this product!

Many years ago a local radio personality used to talk about Rogaine and how it was helping to restore his hair and reverse his hair loss. I always figured it was a put on and just a glorified advertisement. About three years ago, I began losing my hair. I was in my late 40's and had a family history of hair loss. I remembered the radio show I used to listen to and thought I would give it a try. I used the product as recommended. At first, I saw no improvement and if fact, I seemed to be losing more hair than ever. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped and there was a noticeable increase in the density of hair and within six months, it was back to the way it had always been. I doubted the progress and stopped using the product and the hair loss returned. I restarted use and have used it ever since. There are cheaper alternatives out there but they feel make my hair feel heavy and dirty. I've tried several and always come back to Rogaine. It works and it has a better feel and look that any other product I've tried. I'm a believer.

I originally started using the rogaine extra strength liquid and liked the results but my scalp started itching and I developed severe dandruff over about a year and a half. I switched to the foam thinking it would take care of the dandruff, which it did, but I noticed the hairless increased again. Been using the foam for about 4 months now. Not sure if that was normal or not

I like many others, was optimistic about Rogaine. Took a chance and notice the difference, I see my reseeding hair line creep forward instead of back. less scalp more hair. I mentioned it to my wife if she notices a difference, since she does cut my hair. Her reply was positive a noticeable difference. Thanks Rogaine a product that does what it says.

Both products work well with me however i have long hair, and the foam makes a mess and i can never really only use the amount they say. and their 3 month supply only lasts me 7-9 weeks. the extra strength lasts much longer. if you have short hair then either or should work for you. BTW my hair is longer than 4"
