Convenient to deploy and easy to cleanup this product really makes controlling mosquito populations a breeze!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mosquito station is very helpful in eliminating and preventing those pesky bugs from emerging while I'm trying to enjoy my yard, patio and from porch. It was so easy to assemble due the step-by-step instructions (& pictures), that only took about 5-6 minutes. It attracts them by mimicking a breeding site, they enter and lay eggs with is now contaminated with the tablets & powder, the mosquitoes exit and spreads the formula to other breeding sites. The good thing about this station is that you can store/place it in your yard, your landscaping, and near your home but just remember to place where kids and pets can't access it. It has a 4,3300 square feet protection zone.

I don't know if it is going to work because I won't be able to test it long term before the review is due. However it was really easy to set up! I didn't really like touching all the powder to connect the piece in the middle with the actual defence stuff on it. I am a little worried about feral animals trying to get in it. Idk we will see if it works! Easy to put together!

Placed the Ortho Home Defense near the front door today and immediately I noticed a reduction in the mosquitoes flying. After filling the station with water at the fill line, open the pack, remove the refill band, but be careful not to spill the 2 tablets and powder because you'll have to pour those contents into the water, place the band on the floater, sit it on top of the water as instructed, replace the station lid, change the month on the locking cap, and snap it place. That's it & that's all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mosquito magnet and I’m very excited to try this out to see if it works since it claims to kill the adult in nine days and prevents new larvae from developing in the container and other breeding sites that the adult visits. we have a ton of mosquitoes in the summer and they even fly into the house. this ortho home defense system was easy to set up in the instructions were simple and clear. I can tell it's working because there are fewer mosquitoes, especially in the afternoons. It's super easy to swap out the refill. There's no strong smells. They are worth it.

We first placed it on the ground but quickly realized that with water in it, it will be too easy for our little child or dogs to tip it over. We moved it further away from the sitting area but that, I think, made it less useful because of the distance between the sitting area and where the product was located. Visually, the product is esthetically pleasing. However, the smell is strong and, too me, it makes it uncomfortable to be around it. We also didn't see much change with the amount of mosquitos flying around. Considering we have small child and pets and the product contains liquid and the container can be easily tipped over, and the fact that we didn't see a change in the number of mosquitos flying around, I would most likely skip purchasing this product.
