[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, Ill admit it....I was a little confused at first how this was going to stop mosquitoes. I read all the directions and assembled it together. Boom! It does its own work! The mosquitos are attracted to it then take the poison back and it starts to kill the population! Its not a sprayer like I originally thought! Which is amazing, because you can use around pets and children...and I have both! It took about a week to start noticing results and I've also seen a drop in other flying insects as well. Im pleasantly surprised and very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great refill pack for the mosquito kill and prevent station. Comes with two refill bands in the pack so good for two months! Station should be switched and refilled monthly so I'm glad I also got another refill band pack aside from the two that already came with the station. I recommend these and the station if you don't have it already. Great addition to the backyard to kill and prevent mosquitoes from your outside area! Dilutes great in the water and has good concentration to attract the mosquitoes.

I put it near our fire pit and it seems to be working well so far. Excited to see how it works through the summertime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the refilled little packs that go in my Ortho home defense. They sent a 2 pack and each one lasts about a month! I thought that was really generous. They are easy to use and dispose of. Theres no strange scent. I love the fact that this system isnt letting out harmful poison into t he air, so its safe for children and dogs. Really loving sitting outside without the mosquitos trying to pick me up and carry me away!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like that the Ortho Refills kit makes it easy to use and simple application to apply to the bucket. Good performance and gets the mosquitos from multiplying. The duration is set for one month which is good enough to get them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really think that Ortho Home Defense Mosquito Kill and Prevent is a realistic option to help get rid of them pesky mosquitoes. The instructions was simple and easy to set up. It's durable and don't need much maintenance except when it's time to replace the pill and powder which is once a month. I have placed it at back yard which has the most mosquitos. It's perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very cool! We as a family always love to enjoy our backyard but hate the fact that in the summer time the mosquitoes go crazy! We have to spray ourselves down with nasty spray to not get bitten like crazy. This was the perfect addition to keeping our backyard free of mosquitoes. It was very easy to assemble and start up. All the instructions are clear. Fill up to the water line and at the refill in how it states and place it outside where it is in a safe area away from children and pets. We have a small backyard so it covers the whole area. It attracts the mosquitoes to the still water, they lay their eggs into the contaminated water, which then makes the eggs contaminated, the mosquitoes exit the water and then spread the formula across other breeding sites which kills the eggs laid in the contaminated water, and other breeding sites as well. So it not only gets rid of the larvae that is laid in the still water, but around the town or area as well. So it's a good effect way to get rid of them! It works great and comes with two refill bands. It recommends to change and add a new refill every month. There is a little clock under the locking cap which you can set to the month you refilled it so you always know when the last time you did it was. It is very well made and thought out, works great, and I definitely recommend this to make your backyard better and safe!
