[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Texas, mosquitoes are a constant problem almost year round, so I decided to try the Ortho Home Defense Mosquito Kill & Prevent Starter and I've honestly been impressed with the results. After setting it up in our backyard and giving it a couple of weeks to work, I noticed a big decrease in the number of mosquitoes around our patio and yard, especially in the evenings when they're usually the worst. What I like most is that it works quietly in the background without sprays, strong smells, or constantly having to reapply anything. The setup was simple, and maintenance has been easy just checking the water and replacing the refill when needed. In Texas heat and humidity, finding something that actually helps control mosquitoes is a huge win. It's not an instant overnight fix, but with consistent use, it definitely helped make spending time outside more enjoyable for my family. I'd recommend it to anyone dealing with heavy mosquito problems, especially in southern states like Texas where mosquitoes can get out of control fast.

It does work and has kept down the mosquitoes around my door. I was happy they sent refills and I will buy new ones when I run out. If you have a problem with mosquitoes try this set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to set up! I was very excited to put this near the door where mosquitos are the worst! I love how you just put water in and add the tabs in. One great thing about it is the dial on the top to show which month you added it last! It absolutely does work. I noticed I could sit out where I always sit and not be miserable from the mosquitos. I will absolutely continue to use this and buy refills when I run out of the ones sent. It is contained to where my animals can't get into it and it's so simple to do. Great product and it works!

It only took a couple of days to start its magic. Thank

Just noticed mosquitoes haven't been an issue!! It works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mosquito magnet and I’m very excited to try this out to see if it works since it claims to kill the adult in nine days and prevents new larvae from developing in the container and other breeding sites that the adult visits. we have a ton of mosquitoes in the summer and they even fly into the house. this ortho home defense system was easy to set up in the instructions were simple and clear. I’ll update this post as a month pass..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refill kit easy to use and fit perfectly with the starter system. Replacement the refills takes only a few minutes and keeps the protection working without interruption. The 2-pack offers a good value and convenient backup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product for free in exchange for my review. It's lot of rain as well as sunny day in my area so mosquitoes have been an issue for us, especially for my toddler who loves to play outside. I took off one star since this requires lots of steps to set up. But it's also good that they have a month system so we can keep track of when we need to change the filter. One can last for 1 month which is a good thing.

Not pet or child safe. This is essentially a bucket of water and chemicals. It has a 2 inch gap which would allow a dog to drink from it or kids to easily get in. It sys you can use in your backyard and it is pet safe. But then the directions say to use where there are not pets and children. Very misleading information and marketing.
