I recently upgraded my original purple to the hybrid and love the decision! Although both mattresses are crazy comfortable, the hybrid offers a little more support! Treat yourself to the mattress cover and sheets to enhance the overall sleeping experience! I highly recommend the purple brand products!

Love my bed, just ordered the mattress protector and pillow and can't wait to try those out. Both times I have ordered, the shipping time was much slower (without communication) than their expected shipping date of 1-3 days. It is day 5 today with no word on when it'll be sent. I think it is poor practice to say shipping expected 1-3 days (except that isn't very likely and you'll get it when we get to it).

I've only had my Original Purple mattress for a couple of weeks but so far I'm impressed! I purchased it to replace a popular foam mattress. I was attracted to Purple because I know I didn't want to go foam (at least the top layer) again. I'm not light at ~ 220lbs and I sleep at a temperature that screams "something is wrong with me." So, you put my weight and my thermostat problems together - slap some memory foam under it and it's like your 95 years old every morning getting out of a bed of warm silly putty. Sooo, in comes Purple.... My back pain is down a lot (oh and I only have back pain when sleeping so this was a big test for me) and I sleep cooler. I can't give five-stars in good faith right now because I've only had the bed for a few weeks (durability is undecided but there is a warranty of course) and the lack of outside edge support is a bummer. I read countless reviews before my purchase so I was aware of this issue (edge support) before I bought the mattress. I would have sprung for the P2 or P3 to combat this if it wasn't such a massive price discrepancy. I think Purple should reach out to current Original Purple customers during their trial and offer them the chance to "upgrade" to a New Purple at a reduced cost Overall, I'm very pleased. My dog and my girlfriend are too. This may sound strange (and rest assured it is) but even my dog sleeps cooler. She's built like a wookie (the dog) and bails for the cool tile floor less often now that I have this mattress. Four thumbs up here and a pair of dew claws too.

I am 21 years old, 5'11", 160 lbs, so I definitely shouldn't be waking up with back pain in the middle of the night from a good mattress. It feels alright when I first lay on it, but quickly it causes my back to spasm when I lay on my back especially. I'm a combo sleeper, so I switch positions during the night. But with this mattress it's like I'm waking up, getting knocked out of sleep every time I do this because my lower to mid back is in pain. I'm healthy and have good posture! I wanted to like this mattress so badly (I invested in the mattress and the harmony pillow) but it definitely didn't work out.

I considered using the money as down for a big mattress store, however the 100 night trial is what made the wife and I decide to give it a go. Our old mattress wasn't memory foam of any type, we had been wanting to try one. So basically if your considering it just do it, helped with my back pain and you don't wake your partner when getting up. The frame they sell is so minimal as well I love it! Straight metal frame sits high which I detest low laying beds like a noble to peasants. All in all just Shia LaBeouf it.

Going from your typical spring mattress to foam mattresses over the years, one thing remained the same; that being that while I did get some sleep it was never a good sleep. Always struggling to get comfortable and waking up sore as well still tired. So when I was in need of a new bed, I decided to give Purple a try. After getting the right fit and size of a mattress for myself, I gave it a go after a days work. I joke not, as soon as I laid upon my basic Purple mattress for the first time, two things occurred. 1. I almost instantly found comfort and relief for my worn joints. 2. I feel asleep fast and slept more hours than I have in a long time. When I woke up, I felt refreshed along with a very pleasant lack of soreness or exhaustion. For a guy on the slightly larger side with back pains, this bed is a dream come true. Couldn't be happier and will most likely shop from again the next time I need a newer mattress.

Before my purple mattress I was sleeping on a really old mattress and added a memory foam layer to help me sleep/not wake up aching. I had seen commercials for purple and noted how it was different from a memory foam (cause the foam wasn't really working for me). So I took a chance and wanted to try something different and I'm glad I did. I noticed a difference in the first week which was amazing! I also got the purple pillows and just love the support I get from it all!

I sleep in all different positions and every one of them are perfect. I have no more hip pain. No more back pain. No more neck pain. I think I may be looking into buying the purple pillow as well. Only thing I can say is that when I sit on my bed it seems a bit softer than the rest of the bed. And I'm hoping it's not forming a pit in the bed from prolonged use in one spot.

I was more than pleased with the mattress. Never slept so good. However, the stretchy sheets are another matter. For one thing they're made in China! Felt like wearing a woman's slip, or at least what I imagine it would feel like. I kept the fitted one on the mattress, but I ditched the non fitted one with some good ole Egyptian cotton

With some trepidation at buying a mattress sight-unseen, I pulled the trigger. There were enough reviews I saw were that gave me enough confidence in something new. I figured why not, all the other mattresses I have tried have helped me little. I've had back pain all my life directly related to sleeping so I was keen for a solution. I've never found relief with memory foam and the cost and peer reviews of the sleep number kept me away from it. Here's my take on it. Most important, I sleep great. My back pain which is traditionally around a 3 or 4 (out of 10) has consistently been reduced to a 1 and sometimes 0. This is a complete success by itself, if you ask me. But there are other things to note. My take on the firmness of the mattress is that it runs on the higher end of the spectrum perhaps a 7 or 8 out of 10. This is perfectly compensated by the fact that the gel matrix lets my hip and shoulder sink at just the right spots. The mattress sleeps cooler than you're used to. Having ordered this in the winter, I noticed right away the bed is cooler upon entering and it takes a lot longer for it to warm up. I sleep hot and so this I consider a benefit. However I sleep with more blankets on me at first and kick them off later. I'm expecting this to be great during the summer. I got the mattress frame too. I'm glad I did. It sits the bed at the normal height as other beds, making the transition to it feel seamless. As a bonus, I can store things and clean under my bed. I am storing stuff under the bed in large (14"-16" tall) plastic totes. I think it's great. Like having drawers under the bed. In the end, I'm very satisfied with my Purple mattress. In fact I've been telling all my friends. They send you these little samples of the gel matrix to show off and I have done plenty of that. It's about time the mattress was reinvented. The old ones just weren't working for me.
