I have always slept on my back until now. sleeping on my side is an option now, and it feels great! I disliked my friends Thermorest because it felt stiff when resting on it initially. Though this Purple has that give when resting on it like a pillow top but still supports like a memory foam. Best of both worlds in my opinion!

I am both a back and side sleeper. Traditional mattress stores have left me feeling ripped off and in pain but not Purple. I will never buy another mattress brand because I know this one just works out perfectly every time. This is my second basic purple mattress. Thank you Purple!

We have had our mattress for about 3 weeks now. It feels very good and I am not waking up throughout the night as much. I think we are going to love it. I wasn't sure it would make enough of a difference to warrant buying a new mattress as ours was fairly new and not ready to be replaced. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's very low profile and sits low on our bed frame.

Just one word, Awesome.. my husband suffers from acute Pain in his lower back and hips. He would often sleep in the chair with his legs elevated. The first night on this mattress was the best sleep he had in a l very long time, and well worth the investment. Thank you Purple!

When I purchased from purple I went all out getting the mattress mattress topper power base and pillow all of them are wonderful products. Its just extremely unfortunate that they have teamed up with a terrible shipping company like Old Dominian as THEIR customer service is terrible. The everything other than the power base came on time from another shipper but the power base came through Old Dominian and let me tell you thats the one thing the absolutely shouldn't have been in charge of the product was late I had to call several times to make sure it was on its way they said they called me when the driver arrived but I got no such call even though I took the time and wasted a whole day of vacation time to wait for the package. When they finally arrived it was 9:30 pm which meant I wasted a whole day of vacation for no reason and then the drive was very unprofessional cursing and throwing the product around and didn't even have the decency to help me carry it up the stairs of which through lots and LOTS of struggling I finally managed to get it into my apartment by myself. If it hadn't been for Old Dominian I would have given five stars for sure said they exist.

I debating ordering this mattress for months before finally doing it and the only thing I am upset about is not ordering it sooner. My quality of sleep improved tremendously on this mattress. Also being 6 months pregnant it is very hard to get comfortable while laying down, which is a breeze on this mattress. I am so excited to try this mattress sleeping my stomach (my preferred sleeping position), once I get this baby out of me. For anyone debating this mattress or comparing it to other online brands, get this one you will not be disappointed at all.

My wife and I really took our time selecting our new mattress, and got over the hesitation of choosing an "online mattress" that we couldn't try out first. We selected the Purple and waited with eager anticipation for its arrival. Unfortunately, despite how it feels to the touch (nice and spongy soft), when sleeping on it we found it too firm to be comfortable. We gave it a full two weeks trial, and our sleep was pretty miserable. I loved the cool temperature, but otherwise it couldn't work for us and we had to return. Customer Service was a little tough to deal with, but we were able to work through it and get the mattress picked up and refund issued.

I really like the mattress. It is somehow soft AND supportive at the same time.Very comfortable. I used to have back pain in the morning after just getting out of bed, but not anymore. I have been sleeping much more consistently after getting this mattress.

This mattress has been so great. It took a couple of nights to break in, but after over a month of having it, I cannot say how much I love it. For some background, I rode horses for ten years with scoliosis, and other spinal issues that weren't detected. Until a riding accident hurt it so bad I wound up going to a doctor, who ultimately said that I needed to stop riding. He told me that in addition to my scoliosis, that I had a 17mm hip dip with my left hip, Along with both hips being tilted forward. He also told me that I had a grade 2, almost 3 spondylolthesis. I also have a complete tear of the bicep at the long head that I sustained when I was 17, but wasn't actually diagnosed until I was 26, so there is a lot of scar tissue build up. I am a side sleeper, but because of my scoliosis, it hurts to sleep on my left, which means I go to my right. On other mattresses, memory foam or hybrids, I would wake up with a horrible shoulder ache, so I tried sleeping on my back. Because of the spondylolthesis, and my hips, my pressure point would wear other mattresses out super quick, even if I rotated them. This left my hips unsupported, giving me horrible back pain, and making sleep hard to obtain. We now have the Purple 2 and it shows no sign of wear, and it has been 2 months. It keeps Support's my hips no matter how I sleep, so I don't wake up in pain every morning, even if I went to bed sore after a long day. I also can sleep on my left and right, because the polymer doesn't put unnecessary pressure on my shoulder or scoliosis. For the first time in years, I sleep soundly, and wake up refreshed!

I give Purple 5 stars! We've only had it one night so far. But when it arrived we put it on the floor for the time being because the frame won't arrive till Monday. We went ahead and made it & decided to lay on it to see how it felt. We were both instantly asleep . We woke up after a couple of hours feeling great. Then even after sleeping 9 hours last night I woke up feeling completely ready for the day.
