I enjoy the mattress overall but I still sleep a bit hot on it which i wasn't expecting based on some other reviews. I sleep on my back and sometimes my side, it gets warm either way. I have read reviews also that this was not the best for side sleepers and other that mentions trying to walk on it a few mins a day to soften it up. I will keep trying it for a while longer and see if i dont update this review.

With my job i do alot of bending so i would go to bed hurting then waking up in 10x more pain with my old bed, made me wanna cry. I saw the ad one day an after looking it up an talking it over with my boyfriend we gave it a shot. When i woke up after the first night on the purple mattress it was beautiful an my back was pretty much gone. I enjoy going to bed now thanks to this bed.

Despite all the glowing reviews that I have read online, the Purple mattress did NOT help the minor back pain that I experience while sleeping and when I wake up in the morning, the pain is still present. Expected more out of this mattress and probably will return it...

It's been about 3 weeks since purchasing our mattress and so far we love it. The harmony pillows are the best pillows we've ever had! Have to admit I was a little skeptical about the grid but it is super comfy!! The sheets are really nice, too and we purchased the mattress protector too.

I purchased a spllit king purple mattress. I find it comfortable and I am (mostly) satisfied with my purchase. My goal in purchasing the split king was to eliminate motion transfer from my spouse tossing and turning on his side of the bed. The purple mattress split king has diminished a lot of it, but not all of it, so i can still feel some mattress movement when my spouse tosses and turns on his side of the bed.

I did a lot of research before buying this mattress. When it arrived it was 4" too short. A CalKing mattress is 72"x84", this one was 72"x80". I contacted Purple customer service, they wanted a photo of the end of the mattress atop our foundation. A new CalKing mattress was on it's way! We received it a week later. This one was the correct length. It is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on! I used to be hot on my old mattress, waking several times a night to peel off a layer of bedding. When I ordered this mattress I got a set of sheets for free, my husband always wants flannel sheets in the winter. So he was skeptical on the Purple" sheets. He is now sold on the sheets. They feel a little chilly when you first slip in, less than 20 seconds later they warm up to your body temperature! I no longer have to sweat in the flannel sheets! All in all, I would recommend the Purple mattress to anyone unless you're looking for a super firm mattress. You won't be disappointed in the least! I have been sleeping on my Purple mattress for about 3 weeks now, and it's not working out. I am a side sleeper and I have not been able to sleep through the night on the mattress, and I am waking up with a lot of upper back and shoulder pain that I have never had before. The pain goes away quickly, but the bed really does "push back" hard against your neck and shoulders if you are on your side. I got my flu shot and booster shots while I have had the bed, and trying to sleep normally on my side with either shoulder even slightly tender from that was excruciating. And the bed just seems to be getting firmer and firmer as the days go on. The mattress is also seems to retain a lot of heat if you have anything other than a single fitted sheet on it. I tried using a mattress protector I had, and it made the bed significantly hotter. Even just a second fitted sheet as a little added protection has raised the temp several degrees. Will be returning the product.

I have slept on various beds before, from the temperpedic to iComfort by serta. This by far is the best sleep my wife and I have had. She is a lot smaller than ~120lbs and I am on the heavier side ~250lbs. Finding a bed that suited us both was has and we both had to settle on being uncomfortable. From sleeping to hot due to the mattress or uneven support due to firmness, it was a nightmare. I am glad to have seen the YouTube video for the egg test as that sparked my interest into trying the mattress as it came with a money back guarantee. I am glad that I made the switch as its the best sleep I have had in a long time.

We used to sleep on an extremely soft and squishy mattress so the support of the Purple mattress was unusual at first. After 2-3 nights on it we had adjusted and felt great getting up every morning. Its a very well made product and delivers exactly what the advertisements talk about, its supportive where you need it and soft where you don't.

Just kidding, I already have a great marriage! But the Purple bed sure has made it a lot of fun, *cough cough* no seriously, F.U.N. Okay for real; anticipating a night's sleep without pain, sheets that stretch and are very comfy, the glee of unpacking it all, a totally awesome platform that has TONS of storage space underneath it, and frankly, doesn't squeak each time I get out of bed. I'm eight months pregnant and I get up A LOT at night... A LOT. My sweet hubby no longer wakes-up or stirs every time I get up (you don't feel your sleeping partner tossing and turning (that would be me), that feature is so nice and a huge blessing.) We went with the Cali King and I sleep with a ridiculous amount of pillows - six feather pillows (I'd sleep with more if I could) - I wonder if I'm part bird because I have to build a nest each night to fall asleep.... Maybe counseling is necessary... Hummm, anyway.... Sleeping is my favorite past-time, always has been (no seriously, IT.IS.MY.FAVORITE.) and the Purple has only made it that much more enjoyable. Even though this-adorable-little-blood-sucking- parasite-in-my-belly-that-will-soon-be-a-perfect-bouncing-baby-boy has made sleep a little more challenging, I no longer have a sore hip or achy shoulders. I have been in love since the first night. My hubby has back issues and it has taken him a little longer to find relief from his back pain, but it is getting much better and he sleeps much sounder. (Again, he doesn't feel me getting up every hour.) We are very happy with our Purple purchase, we went with the Platform, Mattress, Sheets, and Mattress protector. As far as sleeping cool... I'm always hot so I was super excited about this feature. However, I'm not much cooler in a Purple (probably because I'm eight months prego, and we are using the mattress protector, and before marriage I slept with the window open and ceiling fan on high in the dead of winter). Hubby however, is very cool and needs an extra blanket. I did need to purchase an extra-long bed skirt, I went with 16 inches, it's one inch off the ground and that's the perfect length for the height of the platform. My little Jack Russel dog likes to hang out under the bed now, there's so much room! (I'm pretty sure the dog sleeps on the bed ALL.DAY.LONG while I'm at work. We should get a review from her!) My only complaint is that I wish the adjustable platform would have been available when we purchased a little over six weeks ago. We would have totally gone with that had we known.... My other whoa, my step-children like to hang out on it a little too much... sigh, it's the BEST! (No for real kids, go watch Studio C, it's my turn!) My next purchase from Purple will be a crib mattress It's not available yet, but I sure hope it comes around soon, (PLEASE PURPLE) little blood sucker will be joining the land of the living in just a few weeks and I want him (AND I) to sleep through the night and get the full benefits of the Purple products.
