I actually can share two reviews, my own and my Fiancè. At first, we both loved the bed. I am a back/side sleeper, my woman is a side sleeper. For me, its still the best bed I have ever slept on. I am a bigger guy, with a bad back. This bed helped my back pain A TON. I sleep great on it, and it is just awesome. She doesn't like it as much anymore, but its more her than the bed. She has been having some hip issues lately, and this bed is painful for her to sleep on her side. We have a king tempurpedic at her house, and she has the same problem with that one, but it has an adjustable base which makes it easier for her to be comfortable. I have been considering getting the hybrid premier with more grid for her, but we have not decided for sure yet what we are going to do. Anyways, I would give it 5/5 for sure. 4/5 because of her hip pain.

It is firm, but not hard! It is just "there" and doing it's job well, very well. I am glad I took a chance. A knit/stretchy mattress pad and sheets are a must. But the top sheet kept disappearing, so I used a coordinating regular sheet. Life is good.

I had tried the hybrid in store. I would prefer hybrid but cost restrictions promoted the regular purple. it is still a very good mattress and upon reviews reported to be much firmer. I absolutely say its a firm bed. ive always used firm and this is definitely at the top of the firm chart for sure. I love it but its definitely firm if you try in store vs ordered. or hybrid vs regular. I will likely upgrade to hybrid at some point but due to up coming spinal surgery I couldn't spend that much if my bed needs could change. I do love the bed so far but its only been 12 days ive used it. I do not wake up tossing and turning as before. I still do but its not waking me up anymore for now. we will see how it rates after a while. most reviews say it takes time to adjust to. I had no issues oddly. lost story short if on the fence about the purchase go for hybrid but if cost is a big factor you will be happy with original also. side note. im a side sleeper by nature but can sleep on my stomach and back with ease on this one

We ordered the beige color sheets with our bed order. we do not like the color. We called your customer service # and were told no exchange or returns. We did order a set of slate colored sheets which we like. It seems to me for the high price you charge for your products that you would care about customer satisfaction, obviously you don't!

My husband had read the bad reviews, but I begged him to buy the mattress anyway. It seemed like the bed we had been looking for! When it arrived, it initially was a great mattress, it was perfectly firm, but after less 11 months, we are on the hunt for another mattress. The sagging is unbearable, you would think it's a 15 year old bed. False advertisement is an understatement. I never write reviews, but this is so frustrating... it's not a cheap mattress, at 1,300.00 I expected at least a year. Bummer.

The only complaint I have about my purple mattress is that now ALL of my pets want to sleep in my bed too. It has been the best mattress I have ever invested money into. Even on nights that I don't sleep a lot, the quality of my sleep is much better. Thanks Purple!!!

I couldn't believe how comfortable it was the first time I lay down on it! It had a strong smell at first, so I had to let it air out for a couple of nights, then I covered it with a thick cover. Now I sleep on it every night and wake up with no aches and creaky joints like I had before. I'm heavy, so am waiting to see how it holds up over time, but for now I love it!

I've had the mattress for about 30 days. So far no complaints. It feels soft yet firm at the same time. I sleep on my stomach mostly and haven't had any issues. It definitely stays cooler than my old foam mattress. You have to try laying on one to truly understand how it feels.

This bed has been rough. My husband and I are both side sleepers, but for some reason he loves this bed and I wake up every morning for the last three weeks with major muscle pains. This bed is firmer than expected, and we are now going to buy a topper and see if that makes it bearable for me. Maybe the more expensive purple hybrid versions would be good, but we can't afford them at this time. Sad that it is not working without an additional cost of a topper.
