I bought this bed on the cyber Monday deal and was recommended the original over the purple 2 firm, because i was told it may be to firm and this bed so far hasn't really helped my bad back. It just doesn't feel that firm. I will give it a little longer but may have toget the firm still. My wife's and I really haven't noticed it being over the top great. The one thing that really gets me is it said online that they will setup your new bed and take away the old bed. Mine is a California King so it was really heavy. It was laying in the middle of my driveway. So my wife and I had to manage to get it in the house. She's,small and she's pregnant. So by the time we set it up which took forever we were both so mad we were expecting greatness and so far it's just been "ok" or less.

We have had our Purple for over a month now, and we sleep great. It has helped tremendously with my neck pain and pressure points really do disappear, but my hip pain, especially when laying or propped up on my back, still won't stop. I am pregnant and have been on bed rest quite a bit (meaning I've spent WAY too much time in this bed), so I don't feel like I can blame this all on the bed. Although, it would sure be nice to have a bed I can lay in for days at a time without feeling like my hips are broken. We do love that it is MUCH cooler and more comfortable than the memory foam we slept on before.

We purchased this mattress about 2 months ago, and we have so many good things about this bed. The first time we slept on it was the best sleep we've ever had. Install was quick and easy. When we purchased it, we also got the platform as well as the sheets (promo item). Both have been perfect. The sheets are really light, yet do a great job regulating body temperature. The only bad thing I have to say about this mattress is the fact that when you lay on a different bed, you'll likely experience pain/soreness due to not be properly aligned like the Purple. I would also recommend a mattress cover to prevent stains on the white mattress.

I as very apprehensive about buying this bed. I'd read plenty of good reviews both user and professional, but I was a bit afraid that the bed ultimately would be all marketing, no substance. I was entirely wrong. The bed is very comfortable. It sleeps cool. It feels great. With 100days return guarantee you have nothing to lose. I'd certainly never return mine, but it is a great feature. The only other thing to note is that you definitely want stretchy sheets for this bed. We have Purple Sheets as well as Sheex. I probably like the Purple Sheets better, but I do prefer the Sheex pillow case.

My daughter bought a Purple mattress last year and loves it so I took a chance and replaced my old mattress with a king size Purple with the Purple frame. I was kind of scared to order a mattress online, especially such a different style. I am so happy that I made the decision to buy a Purple set. It was extremely easy to set up, but it's definitely heavy and requires at least 2 people to carry it. It's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned and I highly recommend it. They have a great trial period but I won't be sending it back, I love it. The sheets are great too! I'm thinking about getting pillows next.

First night's sleep on this was GREAT! Then, the bed started breaking in and getting softer. Every morning, I wake up more tired than the previous morning. The purple grid is a fantastic idea. If only it were on a firm foam base instead of the stuff that gets really soft really fast.

When I got the mattress new it was amazing. No more back or side pain, slept all night through. After about eight months of sleeping on it the mattress began to have dips, even after rotation the mattress once a month. Now we wake up with back aches again and there are dips where we sleep. Overall, it's left us regretting the purchase. Not a good long term buy.

I must of had a really bad mattress before making this purchase so the first week this bed was great!. However now it has been a month and some days I realize I move more to get comfortable. I am a side sleeper and I review that this was great for that. I find this is better for the back sleeper, of which I am not. I will give it another month or so to see if there is any change. Luckily they offer the 100 day money back guarantee. I do like that it doesn't hold the heat or leaves the indentations of my body.

The mattress was comfortable when I first started but I noticed a lack of support the more I used it. Moreover I noticed that my side of the bed sunk in noticeably after a nights sleep. I am a large guy (6'4" 240lbs) but I have never had a new mattress sink that quickly. I literally feel like I'm rolling uphill when I want to roll to the other side of the mattress in the morning. This mattress may do what it has advertised but I don't think this mattress is for me.
