I'd been sleeping on a terrible mattress for 7 years, but because it was an investment (read: very expensive), I felt I had to get my money's worth. Bad idea! Once I switched over to Purple, I realized my mistake...no matter how much it costs, don't sleep on a bad mattress. Purple doesn't allow that, because it gives you 100 days to find out if this mattress is for you. Not that you need 100 days. I knew after a week that this mattress was for me:-)

I was wanting a new mattress for a long time, but I never felt confident in shopping for a mattress. Did I like a firm mattressor a soft mattress? I don't know. I'm a side sleeper, mostly, but not always. Laying on a mattress for 5 minutes in a store doesn't do any good, and I don't like talking to salesmen. I started reading reviews and watching videos about mattresses. I found that the Purple appeared on lists often. I loved the idea of it being delivered and having a couple months to check it out. I also liked the idea that this wasn't just a different brand, it was different technology. The purple mesh was very interesting and intriguing. It's been a few weeks and I'm very happy with it. It's unusually comfortable. It feels so soft and squishy, but does a great job of supporting my body. I used to get pains in my shoulders and ribs from sleeping on my side. None of that with the Purple mattress. I got sheets with my Purple purchase, and they are surprisingly wonderful. So stretchy, and soft, and heavy. I wasn't expecting much out of sheets, and I'm really impressed with them. The mattress is very heavy, but I was able to set it up and get it in position myself. There was no smell or anything that I noticed. Very happy with the mattress. I hear the company support is good, but haven't had to use them.

I was careful to do my research when getting a new bed as I have back problems, so I read reviews and suggestions and really went back and forth between the Casper and the Purple. I decided on the purple as research suggests it offers more support. I made sure to buy the frame with it. While I usually choose extra soft bouncy beds I found the Purple to be very firm. I was disappointed but with the 100-day warranty I figured I needed to try it. I was amazed, within the first week I'd wake up and my back would crack and feel so good as if aligning itself. I have noticed I sit up straighter, stand straighter and can even be on my feet more than before. I have back, knees, and hip problems that often made it difficult to sleep - these have all but disappeared. I love it, and I hate sleeping anywhere else - I highly suggest buying the Purple to everyone with one suggestion, BUY THE BED FRAME! This will give you better support, is easy to put together and light weight. Plus you get so much more under the bed storage and if you don't want the Purple you will still have an amazing frame. All the messages from Purple customer service are friendly, down to earth and tell you what you need to know simply and with humor. It's a stress free experience and I'm so happy with my Purple!

My husband has a very hard time sleeping and this is one of the best mattresses that he has tried. It's a little more firm than I like, but I still sleep great on it when I'm sleeping on my back. My shoulders get a little uncomfortable if I sleep on my side for too long.

I ordered this mattress after getting a pushing recommendation from my brother on them in relation to my back pain complaints over the last year. My brother had lower back surgery so shared in my polite but had a raving review of testing the purple line. I took a change and after much research ordered the original line (cost vs reviews) to what I was exactly looking for. Shipping was a breeze and setup even more so; the first night was a bit hard followed by some slight softening in a weeks time. But my body did not get the conforming fit that the purple line markets about, so my back continued to ache in the morning. I gave it a few more months with no signed of further conforming being seen. I went to a local mattress row shop that had the purple line and in person tested the three other models they had; 2 was too similar to original, Hybrid P. 3 was very conforming and feel like the sudden dream sleep I needed and Hybrid P. 4 felt like a total cloud but with a slight sinking feeling. After another weeks debate I have called in my exchange order for the Hybrid P. 3, I hope that will resolve my issues and I have many happy years of sleep ahead of me. So If you have back issues & sleep on your side more then not: Look at the Hybrid lines! The original will not work for you.

I'm a side sleeper and on my other mattress it put so much pressure on my shoulders that I'd wake up every few hours in pain and needing to roll onto my stomach or back. I've definitely noticed a lack of that with the Purple mattress. I've been sleeping deeper and even though I do tend to wake up at least once during the night, I don't seem yo move around. Without harsh springs in the bed, there's not as much pressure on me so when I wake up, I'm in the same position and comfortable enough not to need to move.

We haven't had our purple quite a month yet and I've been optimistic that it would get better. My husband loves it, says he's sleeping for the first time in years without his hip aching. For me though (and I'm about 70lbs lighter) I still wake up feeling like my back is out of place. My upper back especially. I'm still undecided if it's the purple and apart from that it is nice. It took about a week to air out all the way ask far as smell goes. And we're hoping that the cover that comes on the mattress itself is washable because our matress pad did affect the firmness-it made it too firm. But all in all, it was a good choice, especially for my husband.

We love this mattress so much we bought for all the bedrooms in our house. We now own 4 king and a double. At first my husband didn't like the waffle feel. But he quickly got used to it and this is by far the most comfortable mattress we've ever owned. We had a Casper in our vacation home and liked that. When we needed another at home, decided to try purple. Total fans. We have the harmony pillows as well! So comfortable. Not hot.

Took a few nights to get used to how comfortable this mattress actually is. We can't wait to get home from work so we can get in bed. It's become our new favorite place to relax. My only problem with this mattress is that now that my back isn't sore, I feel all of my other aches and pains

This bed is so incredibly soft. I still can't believe how comfortable this bed is. It's so supportive, I almost wish I bought this pillows with it! I looked into this after my chiropractor made a recommendation. I ignore most internet ad's but after doing some research I decided to give it a try and it was well worth the money! The setup was so simple too.
