I was worried that I might be to heavy for this mattress. But that is not the case at all. With my old double pillow top mattress I would wake up achy if I were in bed more than 5 to 6 hours. With the purple mattress I have been able to sleep for about 9 hours without feeling achy at all. For those wondering I weigh 300 pounds and I don't feel like I am sinking through the mattress. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the purple mattress doesn't feel much cooler than my old mattress. Side note I have a powered adjustable bed that works great with this mattress but the fitted sheet comes off when we raise the bed.

I have always dreaded bedtime. One of my biggest fears has always been oversleeping through my alarm. My nightly routine consisted of tossing and turning all night, then triple checking to make sure that I didn't forget to set my alarm, followed up by panicking about how little time there was to sleep. I always blamed my poor sleep on the inability to shut my brain off when I'd go to bed. I had tried every trick in the book. Limited electronics, blackout curtains, white noise machines, sleeping pills. You name it. Nothing helped. I honestly wasn't sure if the Purple mattress was going to help me have a more restful night, but I figured I had nothing to lose with the 100 night trial. After sleeping on our Purple mattress for the last month, my only regret is that I didn't find out about Purple sooner. From the first night, I have been sound asleep within minutes of laying down. I wake up completely rested. I no longer feel like I need to stretch to get the kinks out when I wake up. My husband's snoring has not woken me up once since we got the mattress. I'm not sure if it's because he has stopped snoring or because I am sleeping so hard I no longer hear him. Either way is fine with me. Also, I love that the mattress is temperature neutral. My husband used to sweat in his sleep and that is no longer an issue. The Purple mattress has more than exceeded our expectations. I would recommend it without hesitation.

I'll admit, I was super hesitant to purchase a bed online. I went to one mattress store, with less confidence in buying anything there when laying on a few beds for a couple of minutes. Not to mention, I felt very awkward laying there with people looking at me. I've had long term history of severe hip/back/neck/shoulder pain (sports injuries & accident). My husband recently had a bad spell with his lower back (dirt bike riding enthusiast). I spent a few weeks researching several companies. I chose The Purple Mattress based on reviews alone via YouTube. I purchased the purple mattress, pillow, mattress protector, and received the sheets for free as the special. The mattress was delivered first, and everything else a few days later. Delivery timing was good though, much better than I anticipated, based on reviews (no issues for me)! The mattress was good from the start, a little firm feeling, so I thought, but I really do think my body needed to get used to the difference of how I was SUPPOSED to be laying! I noticed I needed a different pillow, since I didn't have the purple pillow yet. My head felt much lower with a semi-cheap pillow I've had way too long. I wake up feeling more refreshed! We don't ever wake each other up by moving around in the night. That might be one of my favorite parts. I kept my husband from a good night's sleep before with our old mattress. Every time I tossed or turned, he would wake up. I moved A LOT! My husband's back issues were gone within a few days (mostly back sleeper + side some)! Since my issues are more severe, I still have some pain in my shoulders, but nothing like the pain I felt sleeping on our previous mattress (side sleeper)! It really does get better and better! I almost can't wait to crawl into bed at night! That said, the purple pillow is what probably made our minds up 100% on keeping everything. Once the pillow arrived, we both thought, no way, this is way too flat, not going to work! I noticed a difference the first night sleeping how much nicer the bed felt with my head placed at the right height! My old crappy pillows would be full in the beginning of the night and within an hour I would wake up to adjust! This never goes flat and it's not too flat like we both were thinking! It's perfect! It makes my head feel like it's floating in a good way. Now having it a month I am not sure how I slept with anything different. Reviews had me prepared for a strong odor and they were correct. I'd say there is a hint of odor even after a month. I really could care less though. I'll never have another pillow other than The Purple Pillow. Worth every penny. I can even tell the air flow is awesome! One night I had my hair damp from showering before bed and I woke up chilled on my scalp from air circulating well! I'm not complaining! That means less of me waking up to turn my pillow over to have a cool side! The mattress protector is so soft and stretchy for a protector. I guess that's the most I've noticed about it since it's so new. I haven't spilled anything on it yet to know if it works properly or not. The slate sheets are so soft and unbelievably stretchy. Everything is perfect for us and we couldn't be more happy with our purchase! We are forever Purple customers!

After doing exhaustive research into the seemingly endless mattress options out there, Purple sold me on their polymer grid technology. My wife and I are both multi-position sleepers (aka we flop around quite a bit) and do not like the sunk-in-quicksand feeling of a memory foam mattress. We want to able to roll easily when we choose to. So far we've have our Purple mattress for about 3 months and I - well, my back - thanks me every night I lay down on it. The mattress is extremely comfortable whether lying on back, side, or stomach. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking to invest in a comfortable night's sleep. You won't regret it. Also, I should note that ordering, delivery, and set up were all very easy. I am not a paid reviewer, just a regular guy who is trying to help someone else navigate the confusing and overwhelming task of buying a modern mattress!

I have back issues & they can wreck havoc with my sleep. My new Purple bed has really helped me get a better night's sleep. Just the right amount of squish without skimping on support. & the material isn't hot & sticky. No more waking up all sweaty & in pain!

Ive had bad sleep patterns, and joint pain for years. When I first laid on my Purple bed I thought "this is something different" My body didn't sink in like memory foam causing sagging in my back, purple mattresses keep their form and met with my body's natural curves, and seamlessly molded to my ever moving body in bed. It helped me with tension headaches and hip pains. It never needed an amount of time to puff up and then reform as i moved in my sleep. It has given me the best sleep Ive had in years, I'll have this mattress for the rest of my life. Ive never been so comfy every night regardless of my aches and panes from the days activities. The only down side is its' harder to get out of bed when all I want to do is lay in comfort all day. S'est la vie. I really cannot recommend this bed enough, you've got to feel it to believe it. And the 100 nights return policy is remarkable, but I knew by night one I was NOT giving this bed up. Where you sleep sets the stage for how your body heals and repairs its self mentally, physically and spiritually. I feel so grateful to have this and know every night I get to go home to comfort and healing. self care is key to a happy life, and this is one self care I'm gad I invested in.

I gave three stars only because I have a 2 inch polymer grid and I have fibromyalgia as well as back pain herniated disc .The bed works great for my back pain however my fibromyalgia which is nerve pain the 2 inch grid causes me to have numbness I'm eager to try the 4 inch hybrid could I get a get that

I like the advertisement for raw egg test so my husband and I decided to buy the mattress. It's soft but not so soft, i like the mattress even more because i am not awaken by my husband anymore eveytime he changes position while we sleep. (He moves a lot!) the mattress looks durable and i think we'll stick on this one.

I have the twin XL bed. I bought it because I have bad lower back problems. I used to wake up in so much pain. Since I have had this bed I have never had a back problem. I love this bed. And soon I will be buying the king size for myself and my husband. I'm am so looking forward to finally having a bed that both of us can sleep completely comfortable on and sleep peacefully on.

I have some problems with the delivery and the time of delivery takes for ever was almost awhole month until the bed arrive plus some days after the payment, unfortunately is the 3 week and we still having problems to adapt to the bed and terrible back pain in the mornings. The product quality is really good as describe is just we are thinking is jot the right bed for us.
