I was actually really nervous about getting a mattress from an online company without being able to try it, but I'm glad I settled for purple. After discovering that the mattress was significantly heavier than I thought (thank you Random Neighbor Man, you were the hero I needed but didn't deserve), I wrassled with the sucker to get it unpacked. But the moment I laid down, boy HOWDY was it worth it. I'm usually a side sleeper, but immediately almost fell asleep on my back. It was amazing, I hadn't been able to crack my back in months but I sat up and it was like I had just been taken to the chiropractor. What a satisfying back crack. I laid down for a bit more, and honestly my impression of the bed is a Bob Ross painting. That sounds really odd, but it's the impression I still get weeks later. Happy little trees. Also, my dog loves it. I keep finding excuses to stay in bed and she digs the extra snuggle time.

Im well into my third week with the mattress and unfortunately its not working out for me. The bed feels comfortable when you lay down alone however with my partner and I both in the bed, you can feel every movement which is rough considering were both tossing and turning all night. We wake up with back pains and many nights end up on the couch half way through the night. We were really looking forward to this new mattress.

This is an excellent mattress with great support and supreme comfort level. We had trialed two other mattresses from different companies and when we trialed the Purple, it was our favorite by far. Thank you, Purple, for ending our search for a new mattress.

While the mattress does give support, I find I struggle to get initially comfortable so that I can fall asleep. The purple mattress is much firmer than expected. Once asleep I tend to stay asleep, which is nice, but I feel I can't comfortably relax in my bed anymore. I also didn't expect the texture from the purple grid to be so noticeable. I thought there would be a thicker layer of cushioning on top. I've heard it could take a few weeks to adjust, so I'm giving it time to see if anything changes.

Firstly to let you know... I am a blue collar worker that has recently taken my father into my home because I don't want him to go to a Nursing home. He has a lot of trouble with pain in his back and hips. And after seeing a lot of the Purple adds, and doing a little research on this mattress? I knew it would be the best thing for him. Knowing that there are a lot more underlying problems internally with him! I thought this would be a very good first step to making him as comfortable as possible, getting him a better night sleep than he had gotten in the past. That would promote a better day the next day with activities. And it definitely has. The reason I titled this review the way I did? Is simply because it is true. Literally, the night before this Purple mattress arrived. I heard him up and about.. Keeping me up worrying about him. The day after it arrived and we replaced his old mattress with this new one? I didn't hear anything that night. So? Not only did he get the rest that he deserves... I also wasn't woken up wondering why he was up at odd hours. I noticed right away when I got up for work the day after he slept on it, that... He was smiling, had coffee ready for the both of us, and was walking around the house with a little more "Pride, in his Stride". This was and probably always will be the very best investment I have ever made. Thank you, Purple for making my Dad feel better. And in turn! Making me feel better. A loving son and customer. I was very excited to have purchased Purple and expectant to try it out. After 5 weeks of my order it finally arrived. I measure my sleep patterns with technology. Immediately I saw my sleeping scores drastically drop. I was averaging 87-90 and since I have Purple I've dropped to 73-76 daily. Mattress hurts my back. I'm a back sleeper and have sleep apnea. I'm returning when my 21 nights are done. I tried returning it before but Purple forces you to sleep on it for 21 days. Can't wait until the 21 days are done.

We did the research and decided Purple was worth the extra cost, compared to like mattresses that also deliver, and have been happy with the purchase. Ordering and delivery was easy. Suggest follow instructions and open up on your box springs, not downstairs like we did! It did take 4-12 days for both of u s to wake up pain free. I adjusted quicker. We had slept on a too firm mattress for too long. It has been almost a month, and we are settled and love it!

This bed is amazing! We've recommended the Purple to so many friends and family. Bought our first in July 2017, noticed a small issue in fall of 2018, called to see if this was normal, had the most awesome conversation with one of the Purple reps who was beyond sweet....BOOM! Next day I received an email confirmation that in fact a NEW mattress was already in route! This company stands behind and all around its customers like this mattress supports us! Unlike any we've ever experienced. Thank you for bodies that no longer scream upon waking...and lose sleep because they were screaming so bad! Best mattress EVER!

I have had several types of mattresses, by far this is the best ever. When delivered in thought it looked small to be comfortable. I was delightfully please. Comfortable. I usually have a hard time falling asleep, but now I fall asleep within a twinkling of an eye

I feel like the mattress is more firm than I am used to. I still wake up with back pain. I feel like the mattress could be more soft. However, my husband loves it. He really wanted this mattress for years. I think his expectation has actualized his perception. He loves it but I think he still has back pain. He would give it 5 stars.
