But the customer service response on the return was of the highest order. I'm sure this mattress will work for many. For me, it's just too, too soft and mushy. It killed my lower back and hips. I've found a much firmer mattress that seems promising. Sorry it wasn't a Purple.

This is the most comfortable mattress we've ever had. After years of overrated memory foam that becomes a 'jello' mold we couldn't take it anymore. No more waking up stiff or feeling like circulation has been cut off in various parts of the body. Life is too short to not sleep comfortably. Like they say, the quality of one's life is only as good as the quality of their sleep. Even our dogs who get on the bed are sleeping more soundly through the night! Thanks Purple!

I decided it was time for a new mattress when I was waking up sore. I decided to give purple a try, what did I have to lose with their 100 night guarantee? Well, I can't rave enough about how comfortable my Purple 3 is. This mattress totally relieves all pressure points and sleeps cool! I often used to wake up drenched in sweat with my old mattress, but so far, in the couple of months that I've been having my Purple, this has not happened once!

My husband and I bought a new Serta iComfort innerspring mattress and boxspring a proxy 18 months prior to our amazing Purple purchase. We were both so very uncomfortable. We would never fully sleep soundly. We would drag ourselves out of the bed each morning reluctantly with aches and pains. Well, I had done extensive research on new matressest. My main concern was comfort and temperature. I get hot easily. I have slept on memory foam type mattresses and could never get comfortable. This is the only matress that does not make you hot and gives perfect support. I cannot speak highly enough of our purple mattress. Do yourself a favor and purchase it now! We are sorry we waited as long as we did.. no turning back! I honestly have had dreams every night since I started sleeping on our purple. Now I just don't want to get out of bed cause I am so comfortable. We bought a new platform bed from Restoration Hardware and it works beautifully. I love the original purple mattress. I've had multiple brain, skull & spine surgeries & can never get comfortable at night. Purple (on adjustable base) has improved that. I'm getting better sleep overnight & finally waking up at a regular time. I'm very happy with my purchase!

My husband is a tummy sleeper and I am a side sleeper and we both have found ourselves waking up on our backs, which, prior to this mattress would have meant back pain. We both get a better, deeper sleep on this mattress. From night one we knew we didn't need the 100 day trial, we were sold! Our 7 year old begs every night to sleep with us and has been asking for a Purple for his birthday! Before we bought our Purple, his mattress was the most comfortable one in the house. We live our Purple and plan to buy one for our son and guest bedroom. We recommend it to anyone and everyone.

If you are of a small build, petite, and weigh less than 120 lbs, DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. It's the equivalent of sleeping on a wooden table. There's absolutely no give and you will wake up with horrendous back pain, neck pain, shoulder pair and chest pain (if you've tried to sleep on your stomach).

I got the purple because I was fed up with my old mattress and suffering from intense neck and back pain with shoulder injury/pain also. I was waking frequently during the night and tossing and turning all night. The very first night on purple I slept straight through deeply, no waking no tossing and turning. I did not feel achy and stiff in the morning with muscle aches and pains worsening throughout the day. The back, neck and shoulder pain have gone away. I love my purple mattress. It is perfect firm and supportive mattress without any pressure points on my body. I felt the alignment right away when I laid down and in all positions.

Our initial reaction to Purple was wondering why their shipper dumped the mattress in our driveway. We came home on a rainy night and almost ran over the large tube! Next, we found that even with two of us trying to lift the king sized mattress, it was too heavy. Had to go borrow a moving cart. Set-up was easy but getting the plastic of the mattress was a bit of a challenge. Finally, the mattress seems comfortable but I have been waking up with a sore back. Apparently, I am one of the few people who does better on a hard surface. There is a warranty, but honestly, we cannot imagine how we would package and ship this monster back.

Literally this mattress is so comfortable that it's too hard to get out of bed in the morning and I just want to stay snuggled up on it all day. I used to just roll off of my old mattress and start the day but now all I want to do is stay in bed. It has seriously thrown off my morning routine. With our old mattress I would wake up, roll out of bed and start stretching out all of the morning pains. Now there are none. I can literally pop out of bed and go to work. At first I thought it may have been a coincidence, like the things I did at work didn't make me soar that week or something. But it's been a year and a half since we got the mattress and in the mornings I feel great. I find myself staying in bed till the last possible minute, not because I'm tired, but because I'm rested and super comfy, almost too comfortable. I thought about deducting a star because it was too comfortable. I recommend this mattress to everyone, but I warn them that it's hard...to Want get out of bed once you have it.
