After doing a LOT of research, I decided to go with Purple for my next mattress. Although most reviews for different companies were similar, what sold me on Purple was the 100 days trial and that customers said the mattress did not smell when it arrived. I was worried that a synthetic mattress would smell like chemicals but this one didn't at all! Overall I am very happy with my choice.

.. It's been great! It's comfortable! I read about people having to get used to it. I immediately got used to sleeping better. I wear my cpap mask more often and I feel better from my back to my muscles. My wife also really enjoys the mattress. I only have given 3 stars at the moment because we've just got the msttesss about 2 weeks ago.

at first I was really skeptical on how soft purple was. like it sinks when u dig your knee in or put pin pointed pressure on it. But my first nights sleep and the night there after blew my mind. I've been struggling with car crash injuries for a long time. Neck and upper back pain was apparent every night for me on my old mattress. Purple did what it set out to do. Purple evenly distributes the weight of our full body accordingly and allows for no sinkage into the mattress and just the right firmness for support. I love it and not returning it ever.

I prefer to sleep on my side, then back and stomach last. I have NO issues with any sleeping position! The moment I sit on my purple mattress when it's time for me to sleep I genuinely get happy. Very very comfortable mattress The best thing I've bought for myself HANDS DOWN. This pandemic got us all down and feeling not quite like ourselves...dont forget about self care. I recommended this mattress to all my friends. In a couple months I'll get another mattress for the guest bed...because they deserve the same experience.

I was surprised at this mattress. I came from a Tempur pedic. At first I thought "this mattress is not soft and cozy". But the next morning I woke up with no pain. I love it! My only cautionary item to report is the mattress is HEAVY and if your bedroom is on the second story your gonna need help setting up.

I spent 20 years sleeping on a waterbed. I know what you must be thinking, this woman must be 70 years old. Close, I'm 42. My parents had a water bed as did my in-laws. So we decided we needed one as well. When my husband and I separated he kept the bed so I found myself in a traditional boxed spring and mattress for the first time in 20 years. Well I didn't love it. In fact I hated it. After 2 years on the hand me down bed I decided to invest in myself and get a Purple. I expected it to magically take away all my 42 year old bodies aches and pains. But it didn't. I'm old and fat and a bed can't magically fix that. However it is MUCH MUCH better than my hand me down bed. I sleep through the night again. I sleep on my side, which makes my hip and shoulder hurt. When I sleep on my back, that aches as well. But it does not hurt as bad as it once did. Maybe, in time, the magic will work and all my old body hurts will go away. But until that happens, I'm still happy I got a Purple.

As much as I really wanted Purple to be the right mattress for me, unfortunately it did not provide the support that my body needed. I'm a back and stomach sleeper and I started to get severe neck, shoulder, and back pain after the 3rd night of sleeping on it. I thought maybe my body needed time to adjust to it but the more I slept on it, the more pain I was in. It also ran hot for me - not cool at all. I woke up many nights drenched in sweat. Also, the corners cave in when you put regular sheets on the mattress. I eventually returned the mattress after using it for a 3 weeks (technically had it for a month since it took a week for pick up). The representative I spoke with on the phone to start the return process was not very informative and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions. He just told me to answer the questions on the email that they'll send me and go from there. It would have been nice for him to provide the information verbally just in case I were to misread certain areas. I just wanted to make sure I got all the information since I already had him on the phone. The return process took about two and a half weeks. I choose the option for Purple to help me on finding a donation center for the mattress and they directed me to Sharetown. I got an initial email from Sharetown and then a text from the person picking it up a couple days after. I would have preferred that they provided a name and number of that person picking up the mattress in the email because it seemed a little sketchy at first because he just texted me. Eventually, the person from Sharetown came and took the mattress. He suggests not moving the mattress because it's easier for them to pack and less risks of it getting damaged. Only one guy came and took the mattress. I was so impressed!! He did everything within 30 minutes. I submitted the receipt as soon as Sharetown took it. I received a confirmation for my return the next day. Be advised, they do mention that the return takes a few days to show up in the bank, but after waiting 7 DAYS, I received an email from Purple summarizing my full return but still no money back on my card. It took a week and a half for me to see my money back in my account so keep that in mind.

When I first heard about purple I was searching for a new mattress. I am not a typical mattress person & wanted something different but that would provide me with the kind of sleep that has eluded me way too many years. WELL, upon receiving my purple I am convinced this is the best EVER. I have had a Tempurpedic & at first it was fine, but the longer I had it, the more I found I was sleeping hot & not all that comfortable. I believe my purple will be the end of my search. I am ever so happy & pleased with my choice. Thank you for researching & making such a unique & wonderful product.

My son loved it, but me? Not so much. My hips sank into it noticeably more than the rest of me, so it caused stress on my lower back. I am in my 50's, and so I think I am getting too old, whereas, my son is in his 20's (I can't sleep on my stomach, anymore, like he can), and I expect that he will be buying one, when he moves out. I live in a small town, and for the return, I donated the mattress to a local church. Purple promptly refunded the purchase price. I'm sorry that it didn't work out, but I am glad that I tried it.

The pain in my hip had gotten so bad, I was no longer able to sleep on my side. I didn't really believe a mattress could have that kind of effect on the body, so I chalked it up to aging. Even so, when my husband said he also found our mattress uncomfortable, I jumped at the chance to get a new one. Through YouTube reviews and a few word-of-mouth endorsements, we decided on The Purple Mattress. After sleeping on it for just a couple of weeks, the pain in my hip began to subside. And now I am back to comfortably sleeping on my side! Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to get a good night's sleep!
