Alright y'all, anyone who knows me knows I have alot (and I mean ALOT) of problems with my back. My pain came way before having the kids and the now current pain I get (especially in the colder months) from where I was given the epidural. Back in 2008 while at my first chiropractor visit they discovered I have a small hole at the base of my spine and this was more than likely the root of my problems. So needless to say I've had a pretty long history of sleeping, or should I say NOT sleeping for very long periods of time or very rarely without pain. More recently I've had a few problems develop with my feet, and the shooting pain in the morning when I would wake up was enough to make you want to cry at times. We've tried alot of things over the years to help "deal" with the pain from mattresses to pain meds, electronic patches, chiropractor visits and even heat patches all of which helped of course for a little while but you needed repeatedly to follow up with all of theses methods of treatment. One night while laying in bed we came across the add for the PUPRLE MATTRESS and after talking it over we decided to try it out. Last night was our first night sleeping on it and I have got to say that I honestly slept the entire night, that's right friends I went to bed around 1030pm and did not wake until almost 8 this morning!!! NEVER have I had sleep like this, I usually toss and turn continuously through the night but if I moved around last night there is no memory of it. In our old bed I would hear and feel every time my husband got up for a drink or to use the restroom... Not last night and come to find out he was up a few times! It's seriously crazy. so not only did I get a great night's sleep but my back....NO PAIN!!! My pain level before had been about a 7 to 8 waking up each morning, today A BIG FAT 0!!!! my back feels amazing, my hips don't hurt, and I could actually get outta bed this morning because my feet were not shooting with pain. The way that this bed forms to your body (not at all like memory foam don't get them confused) is fantastic, it hits all your pressure points just right and takes all the weight off leaving you feeling almost like air. Speaking of air, we have our fan placed on the floor near the foot of our bed and this mattress is so amazing you can feel the air from the fan circulating through it!! You don't ever have to worry about getting hot or sticky!I am not a big fan on trying new things but this was well worth it. I would highly recommend the purple mattress to anyone who is looking to get rid of the old spring mattresses and box springs. I look forward to many more good nights sleep ahead!!!

My mattress is helping to relieve my hip/knee pain by conforming to my body. I had a pillow top mattress that I couldn't sleep on. I'm a big fan of products doing what they say on the box. I bought a standard Purple mattress after looking at memory foam options. I tend to sleep hot, so Purple seemed like the best option at the time. First off, this is a firm mattress. The lack of top-side memory foam means you don't sink into the mattress (or bake). You don't feel the polymer lattice when you are actually laying on the bed (like the old bed of nails thing). Like memory foam, there's not a lot of energy transfer or bounce when you move, but unlike memory foam, the mattress doesn't compress much under weight. The polymer is conforming and supportive while still being soft enough that you don't get pressure point aggravation. A lot of reviews mentioned issues with out-gassing from the polymer, but I found what minimal plastic smell there was faded after a few hours of airing. Your mileage may vary. If you are in the market for a firmer mattress Purple is the best on the market. The 10-year warranty doesn't hurt, either.

I was newly pregnant and dealing with night sweats and severe back pain. I would toss and turn and felt so exhausted in the morning. My husband mentioned seeing Purple coming out with a new mattress .. and I said lets do it.. we got the sheets also which are just as amazing. Our first night was an adjustment , the purple mattress is so different from any other we have tried. After night 1 , we were both so amazed In how much better we sleep. Keep in mind I have a growing belly and cannot sleep in many positions but this mattress keeps me cradled and supported all night. I don't sweat at night either ! I thought that was a symptom of pregnancy but apparently it was my old mattress retaining heat. Do yourself a favor and buy this mattress ! We went with the 4 .. the only thing I regret is that we didn't purchase it sooner.

After a few months of sleeping on my couch because of a hip injury, I was getting really annoyed with this situation and needed to find a solution. I am pretty passionate about things/products I find game changing... I have been battling what has been hands down the most challenging and difficult physical injury of my life when 3 years ago I tore my L3 disc and bulged my s1 and L4 while building my house. It was debilitating at first and after years of chiropractics, yoga, physical therapy and endless hours of a variety of self research, exercise and stretches it has mostly been on the up and up. Sleep has continued to be the biggest challenge however and waking up with pretty severe pain after 3-4 hours of sleep has been pretty normal and expected. Exploring the right combination of sleeping positions, pillows, motorized adjustable bed frames and new mattress have been just a necessary cost of the attempt to find anything that helps. After 4 different mattresses along with other items I gave in to all the marketing and decided to try the "purple" mattress. Within 2 nights, I am back to 7-8 hours of sleep and little to no pain from sleeping. It has seriously been a life saver of a solution for my injury. I finally look forward to sleep again. Although not the most amazing mattress to the first touch, when it comes to a good night sleep it has been a game changer. I already left a review about starting with my first pillow (and now have 3 and the CalKing mattress). Purple is a game changer in comfort and has improved my sleep. I sleep back/stomac/sides almost equally and Purple accommodates me perfectly. I e never had any other bed do that, and the bed that Purple replaced was just under a year old (nothing wrong with it, but I felt if the pillows were THAT great, I was going to take the risk with he bed.....eapecilly with the satisfaction guarantee. It's only been 2 1/2 weeks, but I'm in love.

We have loved our mattress from the minute we got it. Besides how comfortable it is, I love how flat it is. Without a pillow top we have a lot more room and neither of us roll to the middle like we used to. We did get the jersey sheets like you recommended and it made it even more comfortable. I was a bit nervous to buy a mattress online that I had never been able to check out in person first, but with the 100 offer I figured I had nothing to loose. The pain in my neck and back had gotten so bad I had to do something, so I got the mattress and pillow. Wish I had this bed and pillow years ago!!! Back and neck pain are gone! The mattress truely does sleep cool too!! Love, love, love my mattress and pillow!!!! Hubby loves it too!!!
