My husband bought us our purple mattress, pillows and sheets for Christmas, at first I thought the price was crazy; then I slept on it for 4 months!! First thing you should know is I have restless leg and sciatic problems, in short, in the evenings I can't sit or lay down due to leg tingling and back issues. My husband said it felt like I ran marathons in my sleep because my legs would twitch and react to the tingling while I slept, if I got to sleep. NOT THE CASE ANYMORE!!!! THANK YOU PURPLE!!!! I Love my bed, if my legs and/or back are bugging I just go lay in my bed for 10 minutes and the problems are gone and I sleep like a baby! I LOVE YOU PURPLE, we will buy another when my back says to!

My husband has three ruptured discs in his lower back and snores like a freight train. I have terrible allergies to dust mites that looooooove conventional mattresses and tempurpedic foam. He used to snore all night, I used to cough all night, and we would both wake up sore, tired, and angry. I worked for a few months to save up to buy a Purple Mattress and I have to say it has changed our lives in just a few weeks! His back pain is noticeably improved, my breathing is way better, and we both are absolutely in love with everything from the bed itself to the amazing purple sheets we got with it. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone

I read tons of reviews before making the decision to purchase the Purple bed. Even though everything I read was positive, I was still skeptical. Well, after sleeping on the bed for a couple months now, I am beyond pleased with the bed. I've had the best sleep! The worst part about leaving town now, is that I won't be sleeping on my bed. Thank you Purple for creating this amazing bed!!!

We bought two of the twin mattresses for a split king setup. Unfortunately our frame let them slide too much and we would always have a gap in the middle so we switched to a single king. However Purple did a redesign of the original mattresses to have a firmer edge support (which was needed and the problem for our twins) but by doing so the whole mattress is now significantly firmer. We ended up returning it and now purchased the premier 3 inch version because the mattress is amazing. I just wish we could have gotten the king in the original formula. Love purple and their customer service is crazy good. The return process was super painless. Our customer service experience is the main reason we are going to end up spending way more than we originally planned because we were so impressed with the purple company. Will leave a review once for new mattress once we get it to offset this one. 6 stars for company and customer service, but bed was really bad for us so stars reflect that, fwiw

I was really excited about getting my purple mattress. I currently have a pillow top mattress and to be honest there wasn't anything particularly wrong with my current mattress. It is a good mattress. I still wanted to try out the purple mattress because of good branding/advertising, the purple mattress does seem like an amazing mattress. And after sleeping on it for about 30 days I can honestly say its not any better than the mattress I already have. Whats worse is that even with a mattress protector plus the built in cloth cover... I could still feel the gel grid underneath. It didn't make me not want to sleep on it, was just weird compared to my current pillow top. And the purple mattress isn't a bad mattress, I just can't see myself justifying the cost when I didn't find/see much of a difference in my sleep quality or comfort. If I didn't already have a decent mattress, I probably would go ahead and purchase. Sadly my expectations were a lot higher due to my assumption from the online advertisements. On a side note, my purple mattress happened to be an inch lower than advertised(supposed to be 9.5 inches mostly was 8.5 inches, some spots were close to 9 inches). Purple assured me they would send me one that was the correct height if we decided to keep the mattress. I currently enjoy having a tall mattress anyway so this was also a slight ding on my overall experience. Again not bad, just kind of average.

If you ask questions before your order, expect vague responses. If you have already order, then expect apathetic vague response. Disappointed in the quality of service and follow-through, lack of shipping or will call options, and lack of desire to find answers. As for the mattress itself, I've had to for 5 weeks now, so I'm just beyond the '30' days they recommend to get used to it. I'm not blown away by it, I'd say "it's ok". For the money, if you have time, I'd say shop around. It also tends to be sleeping much warmer than I was led to believe it would. I've got the 100 days circled on my calendar as I'm not sure I'll be keeping it.

From the moment I first laid down I felt like I was on a very supportive cloud. The bed is wonderful for those of us who toss and turn and sleep in all positions. My husband who is super picky about mattresses has said it is "ok" which is his way of saying it's awesome! He never wants to sound impressed with anything but he has also never given a mattress a positive review either, so this was a first. The sheets are great too. Soft, cool, and warm all at the same time. Believe the Purple hype!

Sometimes I feel like it feels greater without the mattress protector but I'd rather be safe than sorry. It makes the bed smoother and it cradles you nice without it being too much. I don't wake up with back pains anymore, their frame helps too. I also recommend a velvet headboard for that extra literally on clouds feeling you get when on this bed. The harmony pillows are must with this, they are the cherry on top! Also yes this is great for cuddles:P

We have had our purple original now for a couple weeks. This is def not a bed for a back sleeper. I do not feel any contouring from the bed at all when on my back. I do tend to sleep more on my side and that seems to get a little relief as I have a lot of lower back pain. I will say, I do believe I sleep cooler than the memory foam we had prior as I have not woke up with sweat all over my head and neck since we have had the purple. My husband said he sleeps hard since having the purple so I think he likes it better. I'll give this a couple more weeks to decide and a trip or two to the chiropractor to see if I can get any back relief.

Only good things to say once we received it! It was a brutal wait since we had just purchased our home, and sold the set from previous home before we moved! So it took some adjusting from an air mattress! My arms oddly fall asleep sometimes. I'm a side sleeper and usually have my arms up and under my head. Overall I love it and am very pleased with our purchase.
