We've been sleeping on a purple now for 2.5 weeks and so far we absolutely love this mattress AND the sheets. Most comfortable sheets I've ever slept in. Just wish the new thicker beds were not so expensive as I probably would've done a Purple 3 for the thicker Purple layer, but we still love the original that we got.

Hey my name is Taylor and I bought a queen size mattress for my sailboat. I had to cut it down myself to fit into the v-berth but it fits perfectly now. I moved onto my sailboat about a month ago and the purple mattress has been amazing. I use to wake-up in the morning with back pain almost everyday with the box spring at my house, now it's very few times I have pain. Thank you purple for a good nights sleep.

I'm no longer waking up sweaty in the middle of the night, no matter the temperature or humidity outside. I used to have to wake up and adjust my thermostat at least once a night. I even got a Nest so I wouldn't have to physically get up, I thought it was me. But I was just on the wrong mattress. And I love the feel of the honeycomb.

This bed is amazing! I move around a lot when I sleep and get up frequently. This bed allows me snuggle right back and immediately fall asleep! No needing to readjust or get comfy for 10 minutes before dozing off. Well worth the investment for a wonderful bed.

The first 100 days were great! Unfortunately, I am now in my fourth month, and for some reason, this is now the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on! I take hours just trying to get to sleep every night! I go from my normal side sleeping position, then to my back, and finally back to my side. Nothing seems comfortable!!! In the morning, my back is sore and my hips hurt. I can't figure out why it felt great the first 100 days. I have the Purple 1. My husband bought the Purple 3, and he is still very happy with his. I have tried sleeping on his mattress 2 nights, but I find his very uncomfortable also. Even if I liked the Purple 3, it is so heavy that it's impossible to move. With 2 XL Twin mattresses, you have to be able to swing them apart to be able to change your sheets. I can easily swing my mattress so I can change the sheets. But if I had 2 Purple 3 mattresses, it would be a real problem. They would be too heavy to swing them apart. I use both the Purple mattress protector and the purple sheets, so that is not the issue. (They say you have to use the Purple sheets and mattress protector or they don't stretch enough to get the benefit of the Purple mattress.) I do like that it does not produce an odor, since I have asthma and am very prone to asthma attacks from any odors. We have two XL Twin mattresses, and I didn't think the difference in height between the Purple 1 and Purple 3 would bother me, but it really does. It seems like the Purple mattress sleeps so cool that I'm cold at night a lot, and because of the difference in the height of the mattresses, I can't snuggle up to my husband like I use to be able to do to get his body heat. Last night, I was freezing. I kept getting up and adding more blankets. I ended up with four blankets on top of me and feeling like I couldn't move, which may be another reason I couldn't sleep. I may try a mattress topper next and see if that helps. So beware. Even if you like it during your trial period, you may not like it as soon as the trial period is over!

At first I bought the pillow because I did not want to take the plunge and get the bed. The pillow was great no neck strain in the morning so I opted for the bed. Great nights followed once it arrived. My only issue would be when I was taking off the packing the blade they gave me broke. Still a good product.

The mattress is pretty good. I'm still getting used to it. I definitely am in less pain when i wake up in the morning. I've been sleeping bad for so long it's gonna take a little while to get used to its firmness. The platform needs screw feet to be able to level the bed. I have an old house and it has settled. I feel crooked but am trying to figure out a way to shim the platform to level the bed.

The mattress stays very cool. It threw me off for the first couple nights bc you can feel the mattress beneath you. It's a solid piece, but you can still feel the "ribs/grooves" under you. It is completely different from a solid mattress we all have slept on for our entire lives. Other than that - very comfy and wake up refreshed :)

As soon as I laid in the bed I knew it was gonna be a big pillow. My body was so used to the old mattress that the first night I fell asleep in a record time, but woke up sore because I'm used to either sunken memory foam or hard mattresses. It breathes so well I dont wake up overheated or nasty in sweat. I have actually overslept more because it's that great.

Nothing is perfect in this world but this comes very close. As a full time working wife and mom of four boys, a bed that fits my standards to crawl into at the end of the night is NEEDED.  We've tried many beds but nothing has come close to THIS. Would highly recommend. Thank you Purple for creating this!! Firm but soft. No more pain or sleepless nights. No more waking up hot and uncomfortable.
