This mattress is great for about 6 months, then it starts to wear out. You won't notice how bad it is until you start to feel shoulder pain, and can't roll out of the deep divit you are sleeping in. It does not keep it's shape at all and is just another bad memory foam mattress that will sag. The one year warranty is not long enough for you to notice how bad it gets and to try to get it repaired or replaced. I would NOT recommend this to anyone, it is a tempoary mattress only.

After being in pain for most of this year with a Tuft and Needle mattress and before that an iSerta mattress was excited to hear of a mattress with no pressure points. So gave this Purple mattress a try. Was good for the first couple of days, but after that went downhill fast. Mostly a Side Sleeper, but when I would wake up. I would have terrible pain in the side that I had just slept on. The quality of the mattress seems to be there, but something is still missing

I'm a side sleeper. I read other side sleeper reviews saying it wasn't right for them, but I'm stubborn. I've realized if one is on their side, there's more pounds per inch squishing the gel matrix. The gel when flat is actually rather hard. This is making me wake up sore. Similar to sleeping on a hardwood floor with two blankets under you, theres cushion, but not enough. If the matrix was twice or three times deeper, then i belive i wouldn't hit the flat spot. I'm 6'4" and 210 pounds semi-athletic build. When I tried sleeping on my back it was a much better experience. I also have an adjustable frame and it feels good sitting up while reading.

It's not what I was expecting when I slept on it for first night. Had slight back pain for first week. Not sure if my back was getting use to the bed or being away from the old broken down bed. I do like like the bed and still sleeping on it. The pillow was not worth the money or time

My wife, while pregnant with our 6th child, started sleeping on our sofa because she just couldn't sleep on our bed. She slept on the couch for about 2 months while I continued to slumber in our bed. This couldn't go on! We missed sleeping with each other as well as marital activities! We needed a new bed. We tried the Purple bed! For the first time ever, my wife is able to sleep well while she is pregnant! I even find myself unable to stay awake much once we get in bed longer than a few minutes. We are both finally getting the sleep we need and catching up on some much needed "us time".

We purchased the Purple original mattress and slept on it for almost 3 months. We determined it was too firm for us. We contacted Purple and told them we wanted to try the Purple Plus which is a newly released model. The customer service reps were helpful, kind, informative and everything they said would happen in the process was exactly what happened! We are very happy with this new mattress! Very pleased with purple thus far! Now I just need to get the pillow!!

I was excited to sleep on this bed with so many good reviews but honestly it felt like I was sleeping in a board. I kept it the whole 21 days and never had a good nights sleep. But it did help with back pain. Just different strokes for different folks

I'm relatively new to the online mattress shopping experience. We actually bought a Casper first and were initially pleased since we were used to sleeping on firm mattresses. I mean, no one actually likes a firm mattress. You sleep on one because it prevents back pain. A few months later I was shopping for a second mattress and thought I'd give Purple a shot. (Yes, I fell for the marketing.) Happy to say that the advertisements were truthful...comfort WITH support. No back pain and I never have to sleep on an overly firm mattress again. I'm already planning to purchase a second queen size for our other bedroom. Purple, you have a great product. Only one suggestion...start making one for a full bed! I have a Casper that I'd like to take to the dump.

The first week or so was AMAZING. My husband and I were so happy with our purchase. BUT... now it seems like my side sags where I lay. My hips, and back have hurt the last couple of days after I wake up. Which, is really discouraging considering what we are spending on this bed. :( I'm going to sleep in a different bed soon to see if I can actual feel a difference and decide whether or not keep the purple or what.

We had high expectations in hopes to find the perfect mattress. However, this mattress did not meet our sleeping expectations. We used it for 31 days, and finally had to put our old mattress back on our bed. Our backs kept getting worse. I'm a side sleeper, and my wife is a stomach sleeper, and we kept waking up to sore backs, necks, shoulder blades. The mattress itself seems to be be good quaility, and service up front was top notch. I'll be calling Purple tomorrow to send the mattress back, and I'll let you know how that goes. Were hopefully the back service is just as good as the front end service.
