So far so good. Very comfy, stable, and breathable. I'm a plus size person (350 lbs), and sleep very comfortably on this mattress. I sleep mostly on my sides with my partner who is 230 lbs. The mattress is supportive yet soft. I hope this mattress will last, being a big person this is always a fear with new beds. The first couple of nights were an adjustment, but after that I am in love with my purple mattress. I also have the base, purple sheets, and purple mattress protector...loving those as well. I will continue to support Purple if things continue to work as well as they have this far. If you are considering the purple mattress, I highly recommend it.

I'l love to say this is the absolute best thing I've ever slept on but, as a side-sleeper, I still find pressure points causing discomfort in my shoulder. When I lay on my back, however, this is probably the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I also want to mention that the Purple mattress is fantastically cool to sleep on which makes it great on the warmer nights! I'd probably buy it again but I wish there was an intermediary layer between the purple material and the latex foam to help provide pressure relief for my shoulder!

We purchased our original mattress in 2014. It was a great bed but did have some indentions after 6 years. I didn't have the receipt or confirmation email but they were able to look me up and send me a new mattress without any problems. I'd do it again.

Initially the bed was going to be delivered on a day where neither myself or my girlfriend would have been home to receive it. To avoid any unnecessary difficulties, we requested a vacation hold for two days that turned into TWO WEEKS after our bed was "accidentally given" to someone else. In total, we waited THREE weeks for the bed and when I contacted Purple Customer Service to ask for some form of compensation, I was told that we would be getting our bed and that was all. Purple should hire people with better communication skills and a sense of empathy. Additionally, the customer service line doesn't list the available call hours so you end up waiting on hold for forever. The bed itself seems to be pretty good so far but the trial isn't up quite yet, so we'll see. Initially, you'll be able to feel the grid a lot before becoming accustomed to it over time. As far as cradling pressure points, my girlfriend still definitely wakes up with pain in her hips and shoulders, just not as much as our last bed.

The wife and I decided that it was time to purchase a new mattress. We went all around town and looked at multiple online reviews about mattresses. We settled on Purple because it seemed like there was nothing to lose. Try out the mattress and if we didn't like it we could get our money back. After the first night, I was sold! Best night sleep ever. I now tell everybody about it and recently suggested it to my chiropractor. I would gladly buy this mattress again if needed.

It took my back and sides a little while to get used to but now I fall right to sleep. It gives my back the support it needs so I do too wake up feeling stiff. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to buy there sheets and there mattress cover to get the full effect of the mattress. I bought a mattress cover that wasn't there brand and I can tell a difference from when I lay on the bed without the cover and with the cover. I would love to buy there mattress cover but it's a little out of my budget right now. If Purple would like to send me a mattress cover and pillows I would love to do another review for them.

Both my husband and I have had back surgery. I have a nerve stimulator in my back and my husband just had his 3rd back surgery. Plus I have had neck surgery. I have to say I though the surgeries failed because I was still in pain every night. Move one way and my back and hips felt good but my neck hurt. Move another way and my neck felt good and my back and hips hurt. We have both been sleeping wonderfully since we got the Purple. My only complaint would be that there should be more padding on top you can feel the inside of the mattress even by taking your hand over it. However, you can not feel it on your body when you sleep. Most comfortable mattress I have ever had. Thank you Purple

When I ordered this I was offered a set of sheets they did not come and I could find no way to contact company. The bed is OK as I ordered it because I continually wake up to back pain and hoped this would fix it but there as of now has been no change in this problem. I will give it more time to see if it gets better.

I have been going to a chiropractor for almost 6 months trying to fix my back pain. It was helping but I always felt better after my adjustment only to wake up the next day slipping back into my lower back pain. I can't say that anymore. I've had my mattress about a month and I am sleeping better than ever. I read the reviews extensively before purchasing a purple and hoped I would see similar results. I used to have to roll over and push myself up because my lower back pain was so bad I could not sit straight up in the morning. Not only can I sit straight up, I am sleeping through the night (huge change!) and am waking up refreshed. It seems cliche to say, but this mattress is been better than I ever could have imagined. I don't remember the last time I slept so soundly. I've told family and friends to buy a purple for their next mattress. I cannot recommend this mattress enough.

I absolutely love my mattress, most everyone I talked to said it would take a week or more to get use to it...... not me I have slept so good from the very first night..a couple times I almost overslept for work. I have been telling everyone I know about the mattress because I am a VERY SATISFIED customer..... waiting on the pillows. Thanks so much Thank you Purple Mattress !!!!!
