CONS...Because we are sleeping so soundly we are no longer waking up in the middle of the night and putting onTalk Radio to get back to sleep. Because of this we are possibly missing some interesting programming. Even though we have no proof we suspect this mattress has been impregnated with Ambien. We notice we are prone to oversleeping with the Purple! PROS... Seriously, we are sleeping and waking up without the hip or shoulder pain that had been a problem on our old spring mattress. Overall we love it.

Can't lie I was skeptical the first night I slept on this mattress. I was so used to a really soft pillow top mattress that the firmness scared me.... but the second night and every night since it is the best sleep I've ever had. I don't wake up sore, I am completely rested, and so comfortable every single night. We get in bed and just sign in relief every night and I couldn't say enough good things about this mattress.

My wife and I have been through a few mattress over the years. I have some back and hip pain which I now believe came from the mattresses we were using. My wife had to sit up half the night to sleep and toss and turn the rest for yrs. I then saw this small ad on the purple mattress and couldn't pass up on the "if your not satisfied 100 day money back guarantee". They also ship it for free, rolled up and you just lay it on the bed cut the plastic and it unfolds on the frame, simple! The video they show is "matter of fact" and if they are confident then I thought there is something to this because you don't get that from any other mattress store I've bought from. The very first night my wife slept through the whole night on her back and woke up with no hip, back or neck pain!! I had the best night sleep that I could remember also with no pain in my hip or back. It has been a month and this is no doubt the best mattress we have had. I will never buy any other mattress I will tell everyone I know to buy this mattress. Thanks to all the people involved over there at purple for putting together a mattress that has been longed for over the ages. "GO PURPLE" :)

I really wish that purple made a firmer mattress, but there's no adjusting the firmness on this guy and my wife and I have always slept on a harder mattress, so unfortunately this mattress didn't end up staying. The quality however is top notch and it's the heaviest mattress out of all the others we've tested.

I got the king size mattress. So much space I love it. But the best part is I actually sleep now too. 2 years ago I was in a car accident that messed up my back and neck pretty good. Few herniations and bullying discs and what not. So it mad it hard to sleep pretty much in any position. The first night on the mattress it felt absolutley amazing. So amazing that I slept right through my alarm clock, for about the first 5 mornings. I can sleep on my back, side, and stomach without any issues now and I get a great nights sleep. I love it, coming from someone that is a horrible at sleeping haha.

I did a fair amount of research on mattresses before buying the Purple and I was very impressed with the technology and development of the Purple. And the fact that Purple is a Utah company played big in my decision to buy. Unfortunately for me the Purple does not seem to be a fit for me. At first, about 4 nights I thought that I had found a winner, however the longer I have had the Purple I am finding that I am waking up 7-8 nights at about 3:30 Am from my arm being "asleep" a problem that I have not had in the past. I have slept on the Purple for about a month now, I have not given up yet, however everything for me seems to be going in the wrong direction.

1st mattress: "It's going to kill us," I uttered to my daughter as we unwrapped the burrito. 2nd mattress: "I can do it by myself," this stubborn, 75-year-old, 145 lb female said. It wasn't a pretty site, but I got it done. Dragging and leverage helped. The reward: A heavenly night's sleep on my Purple.

I waited a couple months before posting a review because I really wanted to give a true statement . The purple mattress has one fault: and I only call it a fault because I need to go to work in the morning. The fault is it is such a comfortable mattress that I don't want to get out of it in the morning. I could just lay in it all the time. Well worth the price. Thank you Purple Mattress People.

Love the mattress - we have bought four and our friends and family are buying them too - however, the pillow is epic design fail - My husband and I have gone through numerous blow up pillow replacements because they are cheap and keep popping. Never spent so much on something that sits in the closet because I can't stand it breaking anymore - so mattress great - pillow sucks

I was sleeping on an innerspring-memory foam hybrid mattress with a pillow top. It started sagging and getting obvious dips in the mattress in just a couple years. I started having extreme pain in my neck, shoulders, and eventually down my arms. I started going to a chiropractor for the pain. That helped some, but she recommended getting a new mattress. I researched for weeks. I liked the idea of having the mattress delivered to my door and was going back and forth between two when my boyfriend showed me Purple. It was different from everything else out there, so I decided to try it. I've been sleeping on my Purple mattress for a couple months now. It's difficult to describe the feel of the mattress. It's firmer than I'm used to, but soft at the same time. I don't sink down into the mattress. It seems to hug my body in all the right places for support. I never wake up hot like I used to, and I no longer have to go to the chiropractor. The pain is gone. My sleep seems to be deeper and more restful. I hope that it lasts longer than my last mattress, because as of right now, it's the best mattress I've ever had.
