Before I got the mattress I was thinking MAYBE I would get used to it within the time they recommend. I was very skeptical that it was as great as they said. I don't exaggerate... I'm a stickler for describing things exactly as they are... so, I'm not exaggerating when I say that pain in my back was gone the NEXT day; pain that had been there to different degrees of intensity for a long time. It is so comfortable. It feels soo good. We stayed in a hotel a few days after we got it and I missed it. I look forward to getting into bed every night. My overall joint pain (hips, shoulders, back) is not GONE... but it is significantly reduced and again, was noticeably different the very first night. I would recommend it to anyone... how can you go wrong with the money back guarantee?

Loving our Purple Mattress! My husband and I both have back problems and have tried many popular name brand (and very expensive!) mattresses looking for that one mattress that would not hurt our backs...they all failed the test. Our Purple Mattresses has beat them all hands down and at a fraction of the cost!

We came from having a Tempur-Pedic Mattress, which provided great support and comfort. We are still willing to continue to try to adapt to the Purple mattress, but I feel like I really sink into the mattress. The mattress also seems to get very hot, and not dissipate residual body heat.

I will be honest but I was kinda worried about on how the purple cushion part would hold but or get worn out fast....but it didn't this bed is so great love it I will probably never switch back to another bed brand again I been referring a lot of people to this bed....don't second guess yourself it is the best bed you will not regret it!

So I will be honest I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered a mattress I didn't get to try and let alone buying it online. I can honestly say I sleep a lot better than what I used to. I bought the sheets to go with the bed and definitely worth it. I don't over heat at night I stay pretty cool at night and it gives me the support I need. Thank you so much!

My husband did extensive research when we decided to get a new mattress, and after hours of reading and watching YouTube videos, we settled on Purple. The ordering and shipping process was incredibly easy. I loved the mattress right away. It took him a little longer to get used to it because our old mattress was a little more firm, but he's very happy now. I would recommend a Purple to anyone. My only complaint is actually about the sheets however. We received a set as a Christmas gift (we actually just got them last week because they were on back order, which was fine) and the white sheets have a very obvious pink hue to them. The look white in the box but as soon as I put them on the bed, especially next to our ivory-ish duvet, they are very obviously tinted pink. I don't know if we got a bad set or if this was intentional.

My husband and I were due for a new bed. Our Serta I-Comfort had seen better days so I started the search on-line. It seemed everyday there was a new brand of bed that promised "The Best Sleep on the Market". After I did extensive research, it seemed like most beds were just difference versions of the Tempurpedic. Then I came across The Purple Mattress. I watched all the videos on-line and read all the reviews. This bed was the only bed that was different. It was the only one with new technology. At that point, I requested a sample of the purple material. After the sample arrived, We knew this was something we could get on-board with, so that day I ordered the mattress. When the mattress arrvied, we had started our 100 day trial period. After a couple nights, we knew that this bed was not going back. My husband has had multiple back surgeries so we wanted a bed that he felt comfortable on. This was the mattress for him. No pressure point issues and he didn't wake up in the middle of the night because he was hurting. Now that we know this bed isn't going back, we are ordering an adjustable frame. Thanks Purple. Now we can't wait to go to bed.

So many people told me The Purple Mattress was the worth every penny. Not until I physically layed down on mine was I a believer. With the addition of the purple sheets and mattress protector, this is by far the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I will never buy a different mattress.

How was our overall experience using the item? Terrible. I would have given zero stars if that was an option. After investing in the original purple, we found that it was causing new explainable back and shoulder issues - so to give Purple a second try, we decided to purchase the much more expensive Purple 3. It is currently 2/11/2019 and we have been "cancelled and rescheduled" for delivery for the 9th time since our purchase (the original promised delivery date being 1/23/2019).. We have over $4,500 sitting at Purple, and have not gotten confirmation as to why items cannot be delivered, when we can anticipate them, and have been told by three different supervisors that "they will do everything to correct this issue by tomorrow". We were "guaranteed" that it would be delivered and the old mattress picked up on 2/10/2019, and as of 30 minutes ago, they will hopefully get it delivered "sometime this week". The first supervisor we spoke with said he would get it to us ASAP and that we would get a call back. When WE called back the following Monday, it was found that he was out of the office on Holiday and wouldn't be returning. So, another Gal named Georgia took over. She indicated that this was unacceptable and that she would personally take care of this and get it delivered to us by the end of the weekend. Surprise, that didn't happen. Today we spoke with another supervisor who indicated they would in fact not be able to deliver on the guaranteed day due to weather ( it's Michigan, but we have no precipitation and clear roads) - but indicated they should maybe get it delivered this week at some point. We have taken 3 half days of vacation to be at the house when they have scheduled their deliveries - and still no mattress. We are now asking for a cancellation of the Purple 3 and to finish the return on the Original and we've been told, once again, that "they will call us back". This has been a very expensive, irritating, and disappointing process for a guaranteed service and product that gives this company their "great reputation". Sorry, but Purple might have a decent product, but they continue to fail at delivering. We would like our entire purchase (both) refunded, our order modified to "cancelled" and this Purple mattress that has been waiting on your pickup for a month out of our house and this whole nightmare over with. Please, do yourself a favor an don't waste your time or money with this company.

Sleeping on the mattress takes some getting use to. The stretchy sheets are hard to manage when changing positions. Helpful if packaging had more info on care of the linens eg. hot/cold water; bleach ?? safe in dryer ?? Mattress not as "cool" when sleeping as advertised, kicking off light bed spread often
