Bought a twin xl. Delivery was prompt, set up was simple.. I paired it with my own power base. I got the purple sheets for it too which are incredible and soft. Ive been sleeping on it for about a month now and I am very glad I wound up getting it. Sleeps very cool, its way better than anything I've tried in the past. Thanks purple.

I have a tendency to sleep on my side all curled up, and then wake up with my back hurting like nobody's business. I got to try a night on one of these, and was starfished out all night, waking up with exactly zero back pain... so of course I bought one for myself! I put a winter quilt down as a cover, since I have toddlers that like to use my bed as a napping place, so I can't really say anything about the cooling aspect, except that even with the blanket I'm still not sweating any more like I did with my last bed xD my back, hips, shoulders, necks, and (no longer!) daily headaches are all grateful to this mattress! and the basic iron platform base is exactly what I wanted! (even if I would have preferred it be an extra 3 inches taller so that it'd go over my plugs, rather than against them) I still get my raised bed, and plenty of storage space underneath it. Overall 5*, would recommend!

I notice that I toss and turn every night on the Purple. I asked my wife and she says I did that even before the Purple and that I do it less often now. So that's just a problem with me haha. My one issue is that my giant but hits the foam at the bottom. I feel like if the Purple material was an inch or two taller, I wouldn't have this problem, but I imagine this issue is uncommon. Great mattress overall and I definitely recommend

I was worried about buying a mattress on line but with the guarantee - why not? I have had three mattresses in the last ten years and have never been comfortable. I like firm support, so I was worried about soft the bed felt. But once you get in and settle down, you have great firm support/ First time in 10 years without morning lower back ache. Frankly, I have had the bed for since last week and don't want to get in the morning. Thank you

I am writing this review after only one night on my Purple mattress... I AM IN LOVE!!! A little background on me. I am a single (mention that cause I sleep alone not for dating purposes lol) 30 y/o male, 5'8", 190 lbs (more muscle than fat) stomach sleeper. I am an Army Vet and an RN in an ER (more on that later). First, to address the picture of the Purple blade. I don't know if I was just excited and wasn't taking my time, but I got the under portion (not pictured) of the safety blade under the plastic and as I was straddling the mattress I was cutting down and between my legs, as I was going along the plastic piece broke and the blade went right into my thumb!!! :( Now, I am not blaming Purple for this. I should have been cutting away from my body and did it a little safer, but I still wanted to put that in the review so future buyers can learn from my silly mistake....and so you don't get blood on your pretty new white mattress (luckily I didn't). Anyways, the Army, working in healthcare, being a stomach sleeper, and when I was overweight (260 lbs) has put a number on my lower back. I started working out more and lost over 70 lbs and STILL had back pains. So I started doing research for a new mattress. I previously slept on a cheap no-name inner-spring mattress that was several years old. I found that what I needed was a firmer mattress that maintained my spinal alignment - enter Purple. Love at first sight (lay down). I haven't had a full night of straight sleep in years!!! I constantly have to try to lay on my back with a pillow under my thighs to take the pressure off my lower back (a position that is IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep in) or lay on my side with a pillow between my legs; eventually going back to my stomach and waking in pain. Last night was probably the best night of sleep I have ever had!!! I will say that I am still a little achy and it is my thought that I will still need some time for my body to adjust to the mattress as my spine has been out of wack for years. Purple even stated this in its instruction paper that some people need up to 30 days to fully adjust, so I am optimistic that the pain will subside completely in that timeframe. Purple is exactly as advertised and has exceeded my expectations. The mattress cradles my body perfectly in the correct areas without a feeling of sinking, stays cool (I also sleep hot), and just feels like my spine is in perfect alignment which creates it's famous "floating" sensation. I just cannot state enough how happy I am with this mattress and I would highly recommend it for stomach sleepers. I saw Purple's other options with a taller purple grid and all the other bells and whistles, but I stayed with OG mattress as it is my interpretation that this was the firmest options they offered. Very satisfied with my selection. I hope this review was helpful. Definitely recommend doing your own research, read reviews, watch videos via YouTube with multiple people, and see what is the best option for you (and your spouse if applicable), but I definitely recommend Purple for my fellow stomach sleepers and it even feels great in the other positions. If you're considering it, go for it! You spend 1/3 of your entire life sleeping. Treat yourself!!! Oh and my dog loves it too lol

I love this mattress! We ordered 2 twin xl s and a power base from another store, which it fits perfectly. I will say, it took a couple days or a week for me to get used to it and at first, i did feel like I could feel my husband moving a lot, because the top layer of the mattress is sort of fluid like. I think I was just hyperaware of the fact that I was in a different bed though because I am hardly ever aware of his movements now. I bought the bed originally because of back pain I was having and it has not helped me with that so far, which is kind of disappointing, but in actuality, I think I have something going on that needs more than a new mattress. The bed itself though, is so comfortable and I sleep really deeply most nights (back pain does keep me up sometimes). I can't wait to crawl into it at night and I tell everyone about it.

This mattress is the best. This replaces a high end foam. This bed is so much more comfortable from a temperature perspective. Also the distribution of body pressure points feels so good and adjusts immediately as you move. The old foam bed made you feel like you melted into a mold...not the Purple. We have been recommending this to our friends and family. This bed is a great value. There is nothing better for your health than quality sleep.

The bed wasn't life changing or anything like that. Decent mattress, probably could have gotten one just as good for cheaper. They don't offer the option of buying with a box spring, which is necessary for certain types of beds. But the customer service makes or breaks and company and theirs is TERRIBLE. Often a week or more for a response...from an online company, no less! My mattress was delayed, no notice or reason given- I had to write in and ask. My sheets were delayed, notice only emailed about the delay after the promised delivery time had passed. They were delayed even further from the new date and, of course, I had to check in on the status just like the mattress. Would not deal with this company again, completely frustrating experience. Even writing this review was frustrating- the company sent me an email asking for one, I entered in the space provided and hit "post". Magically disappeared and I had to re-write again.

I would have given it five stars but it does hold body heat. If my partner is sleeping beside me, it quickly gets too hot to sleep comfortably, even if I am only under a sheet. Outside of that... I can't say enough about how great this bed is. Best I have ever slept on!

I'm 5'10" and 190lbs and I sleep on my side. I've been sleeping on the bed for right at 30 days and i can not get my lower back and hip to stop hurting. Im not saying my back and hip are hurting because of the purple bed im just saying it isn't getting any better. I personally dont think I sink down enough for a side sleeper. When Im on my side i feel like im laying on a small beam and I could rock either way. If i were sinking into the memory foam I think i would feel more stable and sleep better. I think purple is a great company but their bed is just not for me.
