I have slept on my purple for a little over two months. All the aches and pains I had were gone. They are telling the truth when they say no pressure point. My hips and back have never been better. I am anxious to see how it does a year from now. But as for now two thumbs up!

We have had our Purple bed for about one year now. I was a bit skeptical at first especially not being able to lay on it at a store but we have it a shot since they claimed to have a good return policy and customer service reviews. The first few nights felt a bit strange but I got to sleep quickly and waking up without hip and back pain! The reason I'm writing this now is to state that every time I sleep away from home at hotels or relatives homes, I experience the pain. We went to a hotel last night and here I am dealing with pain. I always sleep great on any mattress, but the pain after waking up... Wow, I just take for granted that I don't have to deal with this pain from my Purple bed. Thank you so much for a better !!

My mattress was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, which happened to be my trash day. Delivery notification said it was on the truck, so I threw my current mattress out! At 8pm delivered changed to the next day! Not fun sleeping on the couch!!!! Once delivered, we really like the mattress so far!! Very comfortable. I guess one night of miserable sleeping is ok if the rest of my nights with my new mattress will be good!

I bought one for my daughter and we both absolutely loved it! I would take a nap in her bed on my days off just to get a comfy and restful sleep. Now I have my own and love, love, LOVE it!! I do not wake up with any bodily pain or discomfort whatsoever anymore. I have an adjustable massaging base and that is heaven as well!! I'll definitely recommended purple to everybody and will buy more in the future!

This mattress is perfectly serviceable- its generally comfy and priced reasonably. If you received a material sample in the mail, however, you may be disappointed in the actual mattresses firmness as I don't believe it accurately represents the firmness of the mattress material by comparison. I was expecting the bed to be pretty soft, but at the end of the day, while supportive and without major pressure points, it is what I would call 'medium firm' rather than 'medium soft'. I guess the ads, material sample, and verbiage all make it seem very squishy- I don't feel this is a good descriptor for the bed. The mattress cover, while cool looking, it also a bit too textured and can be felt even through a mattress protector and sheets- not horrible, but kind of annoying. Lastly, I don't feel the bed sleeps as cool as I had expected or advertised- again not horrible, just not as expected. Overall I'm satisfied with it, but it didn't hit my expectations fully. As far as fulfillment it was less than ideal- mine was about 2 weeks late due to a 'system issue' even though I checked on it several times and was told everything was ok. The package it came in was interesting, but I felt the straps on its case weren't as helpful as they could be- too small and that made it very difficult to carry up stairs (it weighs a lot). So, basically, don't get rid of your old mattress too early or you might have a conundrum when your purple is late.

While the mattress is working out just fine and has a return policy of free shipping back to the manufacturer, anything else you order does not. I ordered the extra frame not knowing if my bed frame would work or not. As it turns out my bed frame worked fine. That's when I found out that the return policy does not extend to anything else you purchase. And the cost of returning it fell on me. As it stands the product I want to return only cost $180 but the return shipping is going to be anywhere from $80 to $90 depending on the courier. So needless to say I'm a little disappointed with that. It doesn't profit me to return it if I have to pay almost half in return shipping charges. It would be nice if those policies were made clear up front.

4 days of sleeping on this mattress, I slept for 10 hours!!! I have not been able to do that in more than a decade. I get up in the morning pain free...no joint pain at all. I hated to go to sleep and the most I would sleep at one time was 3 hours having to readjust with my shoulders hurting so badly, it was hard to go back to sleep. I work weird hours anyway and now 7-8 hours is the norm with no pain. I have told everyone I know and if you are not sure, just try it...you have nothing to lose with the guarantee purple has. Thank you!!!

We had tried a few different "bed in a box", all without success and returning them. Then a fellow nurse suggested the purple mattress so I thought "why not". I'm so glad we did it! The first night was the best nights sleep I had in months. Thank you purple!

It took about 1 1/2 weeks to get used to the mattress. We originally bought a Purple 3. It's a wonderful mattress but I still felt pressure when I slept on my side. We just upgraded it to the Purple 4 about 3 weeks ago and this one is even better. Side sleeping is also improved. My only problem with the mattress is that it's so comfortable that I roll over to my stomach - which is terrible for your back. If I can keep myself off my stomach I will be golden. You may think it's just a gimmick to get you to buy their sheets or mattress pad but you must. We had the Purple mattress pad pad on from night 1 but sheets took longer to arrive. We could instantly tell the difference when we put the Purple sheets on. Note* the sheets are very comfortable but they tear real easily. The first set ripped after about 2 months. The second set came as a warranty replacement and the bottom sheet ripped the first time we put them on the mattress - just by pulling over the corner.

My husband and I both have orthopedic problems - his are shoulders and hips, mine are degenerated lumbar intervertebral discs. So this has been a huge challenge for us in all areas of life, including sleep. This is one of the reasons we decided to try the Purple. So far, we haven't noticed our problems worsening, but they haven't gotten better either. So the Purple won't do miracles, LOL. But it has been a good mattress so far, and we have no complaints. It doesn't sleep hot (and I'm a very hot sleeper) and it's firm enough, but not too firm. We have our old box springs underneath the Purple. My husband has not complained about his shoulders and hips nearly as much as he did with our old mattress. I would ultimately say that this was a good experience and I would repeat it if needed.
