After being scepticle as to how true Purples claims of being the perfect mattress could be... I gave it a shot because not only was it within my price range... it's name Just so happens to be my favorite color. So I thought it might be fate.... and I was a right.. I haven't slept this good in so long! I have not once woken up with a back ache or crick or soreness. I've been sleeping on it for 3 months already. That's 90 days of heavenly rest thanks to my purple mattress! Thank u purple!!! Y'all are amazing!

I've never had back pain from a mattress or shoulder pain or neck pain or lower leg pain! I wake up feeling like some one beat me with a bag of rocks! However my husband loves it and finally doesn't have back pain for the first time in years, so I guess it isn't all bad because it works for him. We haven't decided yet on returning it because it works so well for him. It's been five days and I'm sleeping in our spare bedroom tonight because I have a road trip tomorrow and no way could I last with all this pain. My shoulders are making a horrible crackling sound now and my neck is either throbbing or tingling at all times. I am so disappointed. Also I would like to add that there is no support for my lower back and because of the way the mattress is, my legs only get partial support and when I lay down on my back it elevates my feet in the air with no support so my ankles have been hurting, I feel like im sleeping in a torture chamber! Also for perspective I'm 36 and five foot four and 130 pounds.

I had watched hundreds of reviews, and read even more articles describing Purple's mattress design. As soon as I laid down on the mattress for the first time, my lumbar began to stretch and relieve my back pain. I wake up feeling less sore and ready to actually leave my bed! I couldn't be happier with any mattress purchase.

I have never loved a bed more. I love to travel and now every time I have to leave I get sad because I can't take my bed with me. Can you guys make couches and sleeping bags? I was skeptical at first because I heavily research products before I purchase but felt good about it since it was backed by the 100 night trail (heck no I am not sending it back). Anyway, this bed is amazing-I don't know who is giving this bed bad reviews. I am convinced it's Big Bed and other companies that are jealous they didn't think of it first. One con is the bed is VERY HEAVY-when you first get it delivered be prepared to have strong people, ready for a workout. Also the purple sheets catch water stains which is not cool especially if you lay down with wet hair etc...Feeling wise the sheets are like a piece of heaven (I am not even religious)

Spent the last year and a half in Thailand, and sold my first purple before I left. I wanted to bring one with me but it was not feasible. I returned because of Covid in March and went to months on bad mattresses before I bought another purple. Within two days my aches and pains were gone. It's nice to be back in my nest again. Thanks purple!

My wife has a bad back & hips and we have tried numerous mattresses that say they will be good for her back/hips....but she seldom had a good, full nights sleep. She heard about the Purple mattress and we both researched & debated it....and then we finally decided to purchase, since they had the 100 night guarantee. One of the BEST decisions we have made. We both sleep right through the night and I have never woken up more relaxed & refreshed. HIGHLY recommend this mattress for anyone....can not give enough stars, 5+++++.

I think I went into this with too high expectations. My dream bed would be one that sleeps cool enough so that I can spend summer nights without an air conditioner or a fan in my room. I think this and the purple sheets are likely as close to that as I can get, short of active cooling or geothermal pipes that go deep underground. Otherwise I like how slightly bouncy it is and how it contours, and it definitely has enough give when sleeping supine (on my back). But I have averagely broad male shoulders and it still creates pressure points on my shoulder and arms, although I haven't sleep on my arm to the point where it's numb on this bed yet, so there's that. Also not a stomach sleeper (I used to be as a kid), but this is likely one of the better beds to buy if you tend to do that. Outside of the heat dissipation, comparing this to a good memory foam toppered spring mattress though, overall I'm not sure if this that much better for the price. If the mattress was zoned out to optimize for the shoulder region, or maybe the grid layer could've been deeper for me, then maybe I could recommend it without telling others to try is first, esp. if they're a side sleeper.

These mattresses will break your bank, but save your back. The mattress came before my bed frame did, and even sleeping on it on the floor was the best sleep I have had in years. I highly recommend Purple. The Purple brand sheets are amazing as well, silky and with the perfect amount of stretch.

Full disclosure: I am an active duty service member with a few war wounds. I haven't quite hit middle aged yet but my body has more miles on it than most men get in a life time. 6'5" and a respectable athletic 280lbs. I fell in love with memory foam years ago but found they break down too quickly. The sagging hurts my spine like only a fellow sufferer can comprehend. Wife is a sporty 6'4". Since we started sleeping on our new Cal King Purple we have both achieved a deeper and longer state of sleep. In fact I am regularly sleeping 4-6 hours solid before needing to roll over. This is a huge improvement as I was getting little over an hour at a time in our memory foam along we used before. The bed responded quickly, is firm yet soft enough be still be very comfortable. I am experiencing less back pain then before and I am able to start my mornings without the in bed yoga routine I was accustomed too. In fact, my only complaint is that we sleep in a lot more than we used to. Hoping this amazing bed holds out as long as others I've spoken to about their Purple. In closing, IF YOUR ON THE FENCE, BUY THIS BED!!!

I've been intrigued for a while with Purple's mattress, but wasn't ready to make the commitment to trialing one, even with the return policy. I'm a side-sleeper, and have tried all sorts of things to get my shoulders, hips, and knees in alignment. I thought Purple might be the answer. I've also always had a tough time finding a good pillow, and I go through them quickly. So I figured a pillow was a great way to check out the technology. I was hoping to find it comfortable, with just the right balance of squishiness and support. When I first laid down on it, I barely noticed it, which I guess is a good thing. But when I woke up, I noticed something odd - the muscles in my neck were totally loose and relaxed, and it was a huge contrast to the rest of my back. I had range of motion in my neck that I hadn't had for years. It felt great, but weird in that the contrast made the rest of me feel so tight by comparison. As I continued to sleep on it, it kept working. And it was completely unexpected, so I don't think it's placebo. I've even tried laying down with it under my upper back or hips, and, sure enough, those areas are nice and loose when I get up. (Although it's really not firm enough to support my body for a whole night. Naps are great, though.) So now I'm totally a believer and ready to go for the mattress. I just nee to convince my wife that it won't feel like a grid-y, squishy mess to sleep on.
