My old traditional mattress was 10 years old, so I was due for an upgrade. Over the last 10 years I've developed arthritis in my shoulders and hips which made sleeping on my old mattress somewhat uncomfortable. I'd wake up many times in pain throughout the night. I first ordered a Nectar mattress which was comfortable but WAYYY too hot. My son and his wife have a Purple, and they both love it! He's 6'5" and 250 lbs. She is 5' 8" and 130 lbs, so as you can see, it works well for different body types. So I ordered a Purple too! I HIGHLY recommend that you order their mattress pad (and their sheets or Jersey sheets) too. I think it makes a big difference in the how the mattress "works." The Purple has been MUCH better for my joint and back issues and I sleep much better.

I was sold on the egg test video, I have always used a memory foam topper and it's been ok, sometimes my arm would fall asleep or body would hurt, I like soft but supportive. The purple is a bit firmer, and still have some aches, it almost seems to be sagging a little in the middle across from side to side where the bulk of our body weight is, I'm 125 lbs, my husband 230, so not sure if that makes a difference. I can't sleep on my stomach really bc it bothers my lower back which would be nice if I could. So I'm debating on returning since I'm not really seeng a huge difference. I have it on top of my other mattress as I didn't want to get rid of it until I was sure, idk if that makes a different, it is firm and still in good shape so not like to on top of something worn out. I was hoping this would be my comfort sleep fix all, but not turning out that way, will try a few more weeks, it's just been about a month now. Thanks

I've been looking at new mattresses for probably a year I took a look at this before the stores closed for covid-19 and finally just hit checkout! I have had many problems with my hip and boyfriend has with back I do not wake up with half as much pain and I sleep like a baby. This is by far the most unique and amazing experience as of now it's been almost a month with the mattress the cover pillows sheets and I think I'll be a life long customer.

So I replaced my 20 year old mattress because it had started building up an electrical charge and I must say when I first laid down on the purple it was amazingly comfortable but I'm sure any mattress I would have gotten would have been better than my old one but overall I'm happy I just hate that it's only been two weeks and it's already sinking in, hopefully I can replace it

No more sore shoulders and hips from side sleeping or sore knees from back sleeping! And I'm not waking up as if I just jumped in a pool like I would with some box springs and memory foams! Purple does a phenomenal job at relieving pressure points and providing support while staying cool.

The whole 100 night free trial was what brought us in. It hasn't been 100 nights and already know we're keeping it. Pricey, yes... but with it. Wife is 110lbs, I'm 190lbs and it's comfortable for both of us! Thanks Purple. Hilarious emails also, you'll know what I mean when you get them.

I have replaced the mattress once after one year. Now it needs replacing again one year later. The adjustable bed frame is broken. I am a 64 year old and have to pay someone to switch mattresses. If you weigh more than 200 lbs don't get this mattress.

My wife and are both pretty short about 5'5 140-150 pounds. Bed was a lot firmer than we expected. The first few night we woke up feeling stiff as a board and began talking about returning it. We gave it some more time and now we love it. Best thing I can say is just give it time for your body to adjust to the mattress!!

I've been eyeing the purple mattress for about 2 years prior to buying one and boy am I glad I did! This is by far the best sleep I've gotten. This mattress can't be compared to anything else. It's both soft and supportive- my body remains aligned no matter how I sleep. Highly recommend:)

The bed came in super quick and took minutes to set up. It took a couple of days for my body to get used to sleeping on the new mattress but after a week I was sleeping like a baby! I love this mattress and I will definitely get another one on down the line.
