As I'm sure most people have, the first thing I did when I got my Purple mattress was grab a raw egg out of my fridge and see if the bed really did pass the "raw egg test." To my delight the egg survived to become the next mornings breakfast. However, as I've learned the last few weeks, just because it doesn't break an egg, doesn't mean it's incredibly comfortable. It sure is a step up from my childhood twin, but it's definitely not the glorious mattress I led myself to believe it would be.

As for the mattress: We love it. It took me a week or so for my body to adjust. But my husband loved it the first night. Customer service : had a shipping issue ( ended up being my fault not theirs) and it was resolved with excellent customer service. My only complaint is that I had to sit on hold for almost an hour before I got through to them. But once I did they were very friendly and very helpful.

Our son told us about The Purple and this new technology so we decided to try it. With a guarantee like the one offered, why not? We couldn't be more pleased. The wait was worth it. It sleeps so comfortably that I look forward to going to bed every night like never before. There is no aweness of movement by others. There does seem to be some slight delay in the return of the grids when you change position. This may be for those who are heavier. Overall, very satisfied with our Purple. Also, we love the sheets and mattress protector as well. The sheets make you feel wrapped in tee shirt fabric. Very soft and comfortable.

It's been a month now and my wife and I absolutely love our purple mattress. I broke my back in several places in a helicopter accident and I've always struggled to find a bed where I could sleep through the night. I also have pretty bad night sweats and there's a noticeable difference in how well this mattress stays cool through the night. Where have you been all my life purple bed?! My wife and I both sleep amazing now and having 5 kids, we need our sleep. We highly recommend getting the Purple stretchy sheets too. We have found that it allows the top layer to really squish down and absorb your body weight better than standard non stretchy cotton sheets. We both are truly amazed that this mattress does everything they advertise it to do. It really does feel like your whole body is eaqually supported, no pressure points; almost like you're floating. Both our dogs sleep in our bed with us and there's no doubt that they're sleeping better too! Thank you Purple!!

The bed is really comfortable to sleep on and I no longer wake up in the morning with a stiff back. Putting the platform together was easy and the directions were easy to follow. Unpacking the bed itself was more difficult and better directions (or a link to better directions on the packaging) would have been nice. My only dislike is the lack of edge support on the bed. If you sit on the edge to put on your clothes, it sinks a lot more than I'm used to. Similarly, if I actually sit on the bed rather than lie on it, I sink in much more, it is like a waterbed rather than an innerspring bed that I am used to. In all, I'm very happy with the bed.

This mattress is just absolutely epic. I now fall asleep almost instantly and I'm feeling great throughout the day. This wasn't the case before we had this mattress. It cradles my body and I look forward to getting into this bed at night with the awesome purple sheets to go with it. It actually makes my back feel better just laying in it! Definitely buy the purple sheets to go with your bed though because my old sheets were stealing away the awesomeness from it.

I'm resting on the bed, its comfortable but I still can't get the feeling that I'm sleeping on a camping tent as the bed feels 'Rubbery' like a mix of water bed and air mattress. I wouldn't recommend it to people specially how expensive it is but I already bought it so I might as well try to get used to it, maybe I'll enjoy camping more now. I'm usually a stomach sleeper, not any more the feeling of rubber on your face is weird, so now I'm forcing my self to sleep on my back. Also don't buy the pillows, they're 40lbs and every morning i have to put the cushion back in place as it slides through the night, i actually hurt my shoulder in the middle of the night trying to move it out of the way at an awkward angle, its like dragging a dun bell.

We got the Purple mattress to replace a box spring mattress that we had been using for nearly ten years. After seeing a friend of mine do a video on Facebook to demonstrate the 'Egg Test" on his new Purple mattress I knew that we had to have one. The mattress has made sleeping a much better experience for both my wife and myself. I used to despise lying down and trying to get comfortable but now it's so easy and I fall asleep in minutes. The mattress is so incredibly comfortable and quiet. I love being able to move around and not bother my wife on the other side of the bed. If you are trying to make up your mind about what mattress is right for you then look no further. The Purple mattress is worth every penny and we love it!

I wake up every night with back pain, shoulder pain.. it's affecting my everyday life! I wish I never bought this mattress!! Worst decision I ever made! The closet you seep to the edge of the bed the less support you get and it feels like you're going to roll out of the bed!! DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS!! Do yourself the favor!! Wish I did!

Hands down the best decision we have made buying the purple!!! My husband & I were both suffering from back/leg pain, I researched for a month!!! We kept coming back to purple....and I'm so glad we did!!! My husband & I are both sleeping through the night, we have our energy back & couldn't be happier!!! No more aching bodies!!!
