I am a side sleeper. My hips consistently hurt me in my old bed with foam topper. I would constantly have to roll from one hip to the other. Now with the purple mattress that has cut down my having to roll over times. I have had the mattress for about a month. And it is not hot like my old mattress either.

I haven't had a new mattress in 10+ years, so I decided to treat myself to a new bed. After extensive research I settled on Purple, because the price was so great and I've slept on other bed in a box mattresses and I liked the more firm than soft support this bed offers. I also got the metal bed frame deal with my purchase and since I was changing bed sizes it worked out great for me. I've had my purple mattress for over a month now all most all of my lower back pain is gone. I don't wake up achy in the morning and that's a first for me in my adult life. I sleep really cool on this mattress and fall asleep so fast now. I absolutely love this mattress. My only issue is with the bed frame, not the Purple. The frame has great qualities, plenty of storage room below and it's easy to assemble. I have two major problems with it though. The first one is the fact that if you don't tighten the screws enough is has a horrible squeaking problem, which I had to not only go through and retighten the screws but after that didn't work I had to use some WD-40. My second concern with it is how much the mattress moves on top the the frame. I feel like I readjust my mattress every time I get up to leave the bed. I might end up going to a furiture store to see if I can find something better or try to place something on the bottom of the mattress so there's no slipping. All in all though, for the price of the frame it's a great deal. Ever since I put it all together(which was super simple btw), every night has been the best sleep of my life.

This mattress has been great! Took me about a week to get used to it. All for the best. It really is hard to describe the how the bed feels. Soft and supportive really is the best description. My wife loves the Purple, it has been so much better for her back. I sleep so much better as well. Buy it.

Unwrapping the mattress, it didnt make sense the way it was rolled backwards which made it a lot more difficult to unroll and move on the bed. I was surprised and disappointed there weren't handles on the sides of the mattress. Sleeping on it has been quite comfy, although it my husband and I wake up hot and it retains heat more than we'd like. It's not as hot as our former Tempur-pedic mattress, but still we purchased it because we were sick of waking up hot on the part of our bodies touching the mattress. So, a little disappointed in that respect also. I will say, we love how the mattress feels and if we didn't feel it getting hot, we'd be thrilled. We've only had it for a week and wake up less, but still has hot spots where you've been laying on it. We hope it holds up and lasts many years without degrading. Our other mattress held up great, just was too hot & what prompted us to go with Purple. I strongly urge Purple to put sturdy handles on the mattress so it wont be such a nightmare to rotate or move. Also. a purple cover on the mattress would be cool too! Not necessary, but visually pleasing to go with the theme and would be covered anyway. BTW, we both sleep on our sides, backs and sometimes stomachs....lots of flipping positions in our sleep for both of us.

This is coming from two 26 year olds, but my husband has minor scoliosis and has struggled with back pain for years now. Ever since switching to the Purple Mattress, both my lower back pain and his back pain have minimized or vanished! Every time we stay at a hotel, or stay anywhere besides our home, we miss our bed!!! We look forward to coming home and sleeping on our King Size Purple Heaven!

I was recommended this product from my son who recently got married and purchased from you. I went to his house and laid on his mattress and decided to purchase. I also love the pillow. It is cool to the face and i like the low profile for my neck. My wife loves it. I will purchase from you again very soon.

I purchased the OG purple bed and I wish i would have purchased the 4". I do not think that the OG has enough support for my weight (275 LBS) to sleep on my side and I wake up with sore shoulders every morning. I am only about three weeks in...I may upgrade.

I didn't end up loving the mattress, but I had a seamless and truly "no pressure" experience with Purple. It seems like a great technology, and that it would be great for most. For me it was just too firm and didn't feel the desired contour. There were no pressure points no matter how I slept, and I did fall asleep quickly. However, I would wake up early due to discomfort. I know this matress will be loved by most, and you truly have nothing to lose. No minimum wait period for rufund (although I waited full recommended 30 days). Truly 5 star customer service. I would recommend to anyone for a try. PS- we sell their seat cushions where I work, and they are awesome.

I will say the mattress is a little more firm than I'd like at bedtime but when I fall asleep I stay asleep and when I wake I am not sure anywhere from sleeping. also when I wake the mattress is really comfortable so much that on my days off I sometimes just lay in bed for an hour after waking up reading books and what not.

I sleep hot, always have. Kept the window open during winter when I was a kid. I used to have a waterbed which was great for me, but when I got married, my wife couldn't tolerate it. So we bought an early version of the sleep number bed. Worked great for years until we moved to oregon and I started to have more and more issues. Mostly with pressure points and my old nemesis heat. I was waking up probably 20 times a night to roll over from pressure points and of course was hot all the time which also woke me up. After looking at lots of on line beds, we chose purple because of the uniqueness of the material and of course, the great videos. I can honestly say that it does draw away the heat. The first few times I used it, I could feel the coolness of the mattress. Very rarely will I get woken up by pressure points anymore. Now the only problem is my sleep is not as good as it was when I was younger, but at least the mattress isn't the reason. A satisfied 61 year old purple sleeper. And my wife loves it!
