I have slept on the purple bed continuously for 40 days and I wake up with lower back pain most mornings. I also find that this bed doesn't allow me to sleep on my side comfortably and is always cold which could be ok in the summer but not the winter. Overall it is not a bad bed, just not the bed for me.

I purchased and returned the XL Twin.The only reason for the return was the purchase was for my daughter and she had just purchased bedding for a full. I am looking to make a purchase for myself in the coming months. The experience was very pleasant, and the return seamless. I was very happy with the total experience.

Much to my dismay, my wife was swayed by the clever marketing and hype surrounding the Purple mattress. Because there is a 100 day money-back no pressure, no commitments trial and free shipping, I agreed to the trial. I figured that we would quickly see that all of the hype was inflated at best. I expected a glorified air bed or run-of-the-mill memory foam. I was quite surprised by the fun little purple burrito that was delivered to my door. Even more surprising was the fact that the Purple mattress is ready for sleeping as soon as you release it from its cocoon. It does not need any time to acclimate to it's new surroundings. It does not require training or affirmation. It simply does its job straight outta Compton. This is not the millennial mattress that I expected. The first night was a blur. I remember laying down and then waking up the next morning. I'm not sure if the Purple mattress is soaked in lavender or if it truly does live up to the hype. I assume that magic sleep spell expires after 10 years. Seriously, a 10 year warranty on a mattress!? This is unbelievable! Am I buying into the hype? Sure, I'm much more alert during the day because I'm sleeping all the way through the night without tossing and turning. Yes, the Purple mattress fully supports me and feels great. For the first time ever, I can sleep on my back without feeling the need to turn over for more comfort. Why is my favorite color now purple? What are the long-term affects of the Purple mattress? The real test will be the 3,651 night. I'll let you know...

Unfortunately the bed was a tad to hard and we both woke with back pain. We both kept telling each other if there was an additional layer of memory foam we both would have been happy. If the purple was a bit bigger of a layer. Maybe you should offer a softer version. We wanted to love it, and the customer service was amazing!!

I truly hate this bed. It would be ac1 star review but Purple's customer service is top notch so I gave two extra stars. We bought a Purple mattress two years ago. A month ago I finally had enough and told customer service that the mattress was hurting my back, it was dented, the frame squeaked... after proving pic of the unevenness and a video to listen to the squeak we received a replacement mattress and frame extremely quickly. Again, customer service is amazing. But this mattress seems less supportive than the first one! It has a different grid. It has the same issue as well- you can't flip it- so rotating it will only work so long. I'm sure in another year This one will wear out, too. These are too expensive to not last long.

I've had my king purple mattress for almost 4 months now and I am sleeping like a hibernating bear! I had a memory foam with pillow top mattress for ten years and while I slept great for many years, the mattress was definitely reaching the end of it's life as I woke up with body pains every day! Knowing it was time for a new mattress, I did a lot of research for the most popular mattresses and read a lot of reviews.....the purple mattress lives up to the hype! I'm sleeping so much better and my back and hips do not hurt in the morning. Great job Purple! Thanks for making such a great mattress!

Great mattress - I'm usually a very fitful sleeper, but I can make it through the night on my purple! Got the basic model, nothing fancy, but it works like a charm. Very comfortable. Not too hot at all. My one gripe is that it 'unrolled' upside down and I had to flip it which was kind of awkward to do alone. But I managed.

Got my purple mattress yesterday and was very excited to sleep and lay on it! My boyfriend and I were both a little disappointed when we first laid down..... Slept on it last night and it is a little more firm than I like but he thinks it's a little too soft..... We aren't sure if we really love it as much as other customers just yet...

I usually wake up after 5 hours of sleeping with lower back pain. I have tried many matresses, but always the same result. I started sleeping on a Purple just over a month ago and now I sleep all night and into the next morning with NO pack pain. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I am a believer!

I've had the purple mattress now going on two years and i have to say that it has been one of my favorite purchases I have ever made. Not just because it is a comfortable mattress, but because of the ease of ordering, receiving and setting up. I despise going to the mattress store and laying on a thousand mattresses until i find that one that feels right but when i take it home it feels terrible. I wanted a reasonably priced foam mattress and this fits both bills. At first it feels soft, but i can assure you this has a firm feel but it will really depend on your weight. Heavier individuals will feel the firmness because you will take advantage of the foam, while my wife who is significantly lighter than myself says it feels soft, which is what she likes. Lighter people tend to float on the mattress giving it that airy feel. I personally like a firmer feel which is what i get. Now my review is over the overall experience which was positive which includes a reasonable price for a foam mattress that i have never felt or seen and willing to take the chance that it is good. Because Purple saves money from having storefronts and sales employees, I expect that savings to be passed on in a reasonably priced mattress. I highly recommend you try it and I believe you will also have a positive overall experience and save some money. This prices are reasonable enough for me to change out my mattresses more often.
