I am very picky about my mattress because I am recovering from a broken back and hip. Although it has been almost 2 years, nothing is the same as it used to be. I bought a mattress made specifically for back problems and thought that was as good as it would get. Man, was I wrong! I ordered the Purple mattress because it claimed to be good for your back and pressure points. It is AMAZING! When I first laid on it, it hurt... in a good way. After a long day at work I could feel it realign by spine and I felt taller when I got up. I do not toss and turn at all anymore and feel almost no pain when laying down.

I've been wanting to buy a purple mattress for a long time and finally got the chance. They always made so much sense to me. When I first touched the purple mattress I knew that I was entering into a new world of comfortable fulfilling healthy sleep to come. The only word I can use to describe purple is flawless, I won't ever own a mattress that isn't purple the rest of my life and I'm 21 so congratulations on a long lasting customer. Thank you for meeting my needs.

Everything from the delivery to setting up to the experience of the mattress was easy and well done. So far we find the mattress to be a great investment. I prefer purple to all of my previous mattresses. The balance of support and give is unparalleled. Worth it. Also, love the sheets, looking to get another set and hoping for more colors :)!!

We've had our purple now for about 6-8 weeks. We were sleeping on a mid-priced innerspring mattress with a 2" memory foam topper that was 4 years old. We did a lot of research because I have a chronic joint disease and prefer cushioning while my husband sleeps better on a firm and cool surface. Purple is really the only mattress claiming both firmness and cushioning with ample cooling. It is everything it claims to be as unbelievable as that seems. I'm not sure what kind of deterioration could happen to the mattress, but since they claim it won't (and all the other claims have held up), I tend to believe that now, too. Within three nights of switching mattresses both my husband and I claimed the purple was the most comfortable mattress we'd ever slept on. I've already "sold" a purple to two other friends. If you're on the fence, take a leap of faith; I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Sleeps cool. That was the main focus over every other factor. Bought it...It sleeps cool...Love it. Feels great. Not too firm. The support I feel, helps with the cooling, allowing air to move underneath you. You could say it is like a cooling rack of sorts. Not uncomfortable at all though as that might be interpretted. I wish it was actually purple though...That'd of been cool.

At first our box frame was not supportive enough for the mattress and the whole thing was not comfortable but after we got a better box frame for the mattress to sit on it became the best mattress I ever slept on. I love how cool it stays during the night and how i cannot feel the dog jumping up or down from the bed.

Our spare bed has this mattress. It is comfy but the top layer of fabric is very thin and tears easily. One jump by the dog tore a few spots and she has small nails. Not a durable fabric. Waiting on a response from the Purple Team to see if this is covered under warranty since mattress is brand new.

For over a decade I have had trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, tossing and turning throughout the night and just not feeling like I got any rest. I have tried various things over the years, including medication and a couple studies that did not solve anything. Little did I know all I needed was to buy this mattress! After a few days of adjustment I have been sleeping so much better so I would recommend this mattress to anyone.

My teens convinced me to try this mattress because of the funny commercials. With all their nagging, and to see if it would resolve terrible neck and back pain that often left me debilitated and countless chiropractor appointments, I decided it was worth a try. I was a bit skeptical at first because the concept with strange material of rubbery silicone seemed odd. Would it work,, I wondered? So, I bought the King mattress and pillow. I went to sleep and slept through the first night, which is unheard of for me. Wow! Currently, I have been sleeping on it for a month,, and every day I wake rested and with NO PAIN!! I told my chiropractor,, keeping my scheduled visit but not really needing it. He told me to come back after a year to tell him (think he will consider buying one if it is this good a year later-which many youtube testify). My chiropractor was really impressed that my neck and shoulders, which are normally like cement because of the car wrecks causing so scar tissue, were soft, pliable, and in good response to his manipulations. I kept telling him how great I felt. He was really surprised. My teens were so excited to have mom back to tend to things like cooking, errands, and their needs. Mom is back!!!! It was worth the money. I truly am so grateful to whoever invented this amazing, miraculous bed. I honestly could cry as I type this because the pain I was in every day was unbearable, and now I can even go to bed and feel PAIN FREE!! Even after hurting because of stress or a long hard day, I wake up with soft pliable neck and back that feels like a reset button was pushed. No, I am not a paid speaker!! I am a mom who is very, very thankful to Purple (my teens also thank you). Thank you, PURPLE mattress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unit is okay but don't believe the sleep cool. I can't sleep on my back due to mattresses heating. Even tho I hated my Sleep Number bed, it was not as hot as this mattress. Second is the weight of this thin mattress. OMG this mattress weight a ton, even more than a Memory Foam Mattress. Want to lift or move it, you better have two - four strong people. Last is the thickness. Egg test does not accurately represent weight categories. I am a heavy man at around 350 lbs and as soon as I lay on the mattress I can feel the bottom whereas my wife has no problems. They now have the thicker mattresses but the cost difference would make me go to a Memory foam mattress which they misrepresent as degrading over time. Granted I am still giving the mattress the test period but will be going with a Tempurpedic mattress if nothing improves
