The mattress it self is absolutely great would recommend!! The only down fall I have with purple is that the customer service was not the best by any means. It took about 2 and a half weeks to get my mates to my new house. I called about a week after order placed and talked the the guy and he said that my order just got passed over and didn't get processed and that I would get an email in the next couple days for when it has been processed. Waited another few days didn't get any notification. Called back again and the lady on the phone said that it is still on back order. At this point I was ready to cancel my order but the following day I got and email saying it was processed. Don't let this story steer you away from the mattress it is one of the best mattresses I've slept on. Just not on the customer service end

If you are of a small build, petite, and weigh less than 120 lbs, DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. It's the equivalent of sleeping on a wooden table. There's absolutely no give and you will wake up with horrendous back pain, neck pain, shoulder pair and chest pain (if you've tried to sleep on your stomach).

THE COMPANY: We are impressed with the fact that we get 100 nights to try out the bed and if we don't like it PURPLE will not take it back and spray harsh chemicals on it but will instead send a charity to pick it up at our house and fully refund our money! MATTRESS: The purple mattress is very comfortable and we have had it for almost 1 month. I (F) weigh 140 and my husband weighs 212 and we both enjoy sleeping on the medium firm/ bouncy mattress. When one of us moves the other can feel it but that wasn't a requirement when we bought the bed so it doesn't bother us. The major problem that we have is when we make love. When I am on top with my palms pressing down on the mattress my wrists bend almost backward and become very painful quite quickly. It's hard to maintain this position for any length of time and takes the fun out of the activity. I called customer service to see if they had any suggestions, but the representative had never heard this complaint before. I have tried using pillows, folded towels and books covered with bubble wrap but unless we can find a solution we will be returning the purple mattress.

So I'm almost going on 3 months into having switched to the purple mattress, I'm one who suffers from back issues (3 surgeries) and my last mattress even though moderately young 5 yrs old was causing me more discomfort then comfort, once I had my most recent surgery within the last 9 months my old mattress wasn't going to cut it any longer so I researched for a good while, and I decided to take the chance amd go with the Purple because it claimed it was the best of both soft & firm, and I'm here to say in that aspect Purple surpassed my expectations for the first couple of weeks my husband and I were like wow this is great! Then after about the first month amd a half my aches slowly crept back, but not to the extreme they once were. I don't believe it has anything to do with the Purple Mattress tho, more like its my issues with my back, I would and do recommend the Purple to anyone who asks for my input... my reasoning for rating 4 stars is nothing to do with the awesome product Purple provides, they live up to their claims 100%, I'm just difficult to rate something 5 stars. If you have back issues and are in doubt take the chance on the Purple the support for the back is awesome without sacrificing the comfy aspect of it.

I was looking for a reasonably priced, high quality mattress and feel that my new Purple mattress offers that. I like how this mattress sleeps cool and I don't feel like I have to swim through the mattress to change change positions like with memory foam.

I love the bed. I think it sleeps fantastic. I'm not sure it stays quite as cool through the night as advertised. But it's definitely cooler than my old bed. I main reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the pillows recommended (Harmony) don't really fit a Cal King. The purple pillow cases that came with my sheet sets are Cal King but the Harmony pillow is Queen. When buying as a set it should all match IMO.

I was sleeping on an 8in foam futon mattress before purple. It was in rough shape; super lumpy, firm, dipped in the middle. Yet, my body had grown accustomed to each odd lump of that cheap, old mattress. After finally pulling the trigger on a mattress upgrade, the purple mattress was at the top of the list. I didn't actually try any other kind. Upon my first lay down on the flexible grid it was a magic, weightlessness while still being firm in the right places. . Like a water bed without the weirdness of feeling like you are on the sea! I'll admit, it took my contorted body a few weeks to get used to the new mattress. I was sore in places I wasn't sore before but I trusted it was for the best and it was simply allowing my body to relax back to the way it was meant to be. Now I sleep deeply, comfortably, and wake without aches. Trust the power of purple!

Please refer to my previous review for more detailed information. Personally, I'd enjoy if the Purple Mattress added a pillow top type feature. Something to give it more substance. I consistently woke up stiff because I feel as though I didn't sink enough into the bed. I prefer very soft beds. Still a fan of the mattress, but I had to add a memory foam topper to rectify the morning stiffness.

My Fianceé and I bought the Purple king size mattress, as we were moving into a new apartment and his 6'3" frame was too long for my queen sized bed. We had done our research and found Purple! He has a lot of back pain and would pop his back several times a day and I have always had lower back pain. It took us about a week to adjust to our new Purple bed, but we are absolutely in love. And we've recommended it to both our parents! I no longer wake up with severe lower back pain and my fianceé has only popped his back a handful of times in the last 3 weeks! Everyone should seriously have a purple bed!

We purchased the purple mattress in a queen size to replace a temperpedic that was sagging after a few years (we are heavier people). It is for our guest room now and people who hated the temperpedic, are now waking up to tell us how awesome the bed is. I can't vouch for how it holds up for every night use or for frequent heavier people sleeping....but when I replace my king size I'm most likely gonna get a purple
