When I heard of purple I wasn't sold on the product. I have owned it for a few weeks and all I have to say is I sleep like a "baby at night". This mattress is amazing. I don't have any more back pain. My body is well rested when I get up in the morning. If you need a new mattress I recommend checking out Purple.

It took some time (about a week) for my back muscles to adjust. I compare it to when you first start seeing a chiropractor; your muscles need to get used to being in the right position. I purchased the classic mattress. I wish the top layer was an inch thicker. I am heavy so my hips tend to bottom out after awhile when on my side. I am working on that issue so I will see how it goes or if I will have to return. I really don't want to return because this mattress is great, I just can't afford the new Purple.

I've had my Original Purple Mattress for a few weeks now and so far I can say that the mattress is has let me sleep through the night without waking as apposed to my old pillowtop mattress. However, the mattress is a bit firm for my liking. Maybe upgrading to the newer versions would help me out on this since they have a thicker material.

I bought this mattress after reading the reviews (which had to be paid reviews or fake). The good reviews cannot be from real people. Real people cannot find these mattresses comfortable. I was so excited because we were replacing a cheap foam mattress that we were making do with an expensive purple2. The Purple was delivered and automatically my husband started having terrible back pain. I had taken a bad fall so I was already suffering with all over pain so I wasnt sure why if it was the mattress or not. I wanted to believe all the great reviews I read. I convinced my husband to give it the recommended 100 days. Unfortunately for us it did get a little better so we kept it. Not long after the 100 days, we both started experiencing severe back pain and now a year out, I never sleep through the night and when I get up, I can barely walk. My back and legs hurt so bad. After an hour or so, I feel ok so I know it is the bed. I am so upset. We spent so much money on this mattress and now we are just stuck. DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS. DO NOT GET SUCKERED IN LIKE I DID. YOUR BACK WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. IT WILL AGE YOU TWENTY YEARS OR MORE.

We love the mattress, no felt movement between my wife and I. Never get too hot like with the swedish foam thick toppers. It's perfect. But, we were promised a purple pillow which didn't arrive with the mattress. When I called about it, I was told that promo was not available when I made my purchase. One would think that for the amount I paid for the king sized mattress, they would keep a happy customer and throw in the pillow.

This mattress is worth every penny. I have had back issues for 30 years and have seen several different doctors about the pain and keeping me in alignment. My latest doctor has been the most successful thus far and I would see her 1-2 times per month. At my last visit, 3 weeks after getting this mattress, she told me to come back as needed. This mattress is amazing!

The prices of these beds are pretty extreme. It really is not necessary for these materials to cost this much. But because I, like everyone else that have back, neck and hip problems will do anything for some help with discomfort of a restless and pain free sleep. We will try anything. I have had my purple bed now for a few weeks. At first it was great, but as time to adjust has come and gone I am feeling the pain in the areas I have always had. So as far as the purple bed being comfortable, yes, it is comfortable, cool and better than the rest I have had. I am still paying on a bed that I bought 6 months ago and still have 6 months more to pay. I took the mattress off of it and am using my purple mattress on it. It's an adjustable bed. Overall I will sleep on my bed maybe 3 times a week and in my recliner 4 days a week.

My SO and I have always had memory foam mattresses and tend to slept hot but figured we were stuck with the hotness because memory foam is what helped our backs. When we were redoing our bedroom I decided to pull the trigger on Purple due to the claim that you don't sleep hot but yet it still supports. My SO has always been someone who doesn't sleep through the night and with Purple he has slept through the night from day 1. That in itself and the fact that he sleeps in on the weekends now speaks volumes! I don't wake up with back pain or stiffness anymore. I can't talk on whether or not it sags overtime because we've only had it for about 3 weeks, but I will say in the numerous reviews I've done they do talk about a weight limit so if you're looking at a purple I would keep that in mind. I'm crossing my fingers that it holds up for years to come because we absolutely love this mattress. We finally know what it's like to sleep soundly again!

My wife and I have never experienced such a comfortable out of the box (so to speak) sleeping experience in our 30 years of marriage. With my chronic arthritis and hips in need of replacement I was fidgeting all night...until Purple. Thank you for a wonderful product!!

I was in a pretty bad car accident a couple of years ago. I hadn't had a decent night's rest since then. I was constantly waking up in pain or uncomfortable throughout the night and then I'd almost always wake up stiff and sore and hurting. The pain ranged from my neck, left shoulder, and upper back. I've now had my Purple for around 3 months and I wake up pain-free almost every morning. And I don't stir during the night anymore. This mattress is amazing and has revitalized my life. I'm exceedingly happy with my purchase! I completely recommend anyone and everyone who can, does buy this mattress!
