I am very happy with my purple experience but there was one glitch that I wish purple would have made me aware of before I ordered. I ordered the full size package deal but somehow managed to click queen size mattress. Instead of calling to ask they sent out the full size frame, sheets, mattress cover but sent out a queen size mattress. I had to go through alittle bit of hassle getting the old bed picked up with a contractor but the new bed was shipped immediately. Someone should be watching the online orders to help the first time purchaser obtain the best experience possible

the mattress is too thin and when I sit on it I bottom out and feel the platform. the mattress is not firm enough for me or my wife. I am very disappointed. I now wake up with neck and shoulder pain that I never had before. I also have a hard time moving on the mattress because it seems to lock you in place making moving difficult.

I've had this mattress for a year, and I wake up every morning so happy that I bought this mattress! I tell everyone I know who is looking for a new mattress to give purple a serious look. I think I've sold at least 3. I couldn't be happier with this bed!

Cannot describe what it feels like to sleep on the mattress other than amazing! We thought we would try the mattress and return it if not satisfied. After the first night, we were hooked! Did not wake up in the middle night with pressure point pains. The only draw back is having to get out of the comfy goodness each morning. Not sure how, but the sheets make it all the more comfy.

I had been experiencing some lower back issues and knew that my mattress was a likely culprit in my inability to get better. I haven't upgraded my mattress in quite some time, and I knew that I needed to make a change soon. I consider myself a frequent online shopper, but there are some things I hesitate to buy online if I can't try it out in person. A mattress was on that list. Cue: Purple marketing. I came across a Purple ad on Facebook about a year prior, and ever since then, I considered myself obsessed (yep, you got me). The marketing was cute and very creative, but I was trying to not let that influence my practical side. Did I really want to spend that much on a mattress that I couldn't even try out in person? I know it came with a 100 night trial, but who wants to go through buying a mattress, trying it out, dealing with its heftiness, and returning it. Not me. So after much research - reading online reviews, watching too many videos to name, and comparing pros and cons against other mattresses, AND an incident that left me with a couple of pinched nerves, I went for it. I bought the queen purple mattress (although, I wish I would have gotten the king), as well as the associated platform frame. The process to purchase was so incredibly easy, and the updates I received on shipping and tracking were fantastic. I am going to be honest, the day it arrived, I had very high expectations. I was expecting it to completely change my life. Not only was it going to make my back feel better, I was going to sleep cooler and not feel anything when my partner turned over. It may as well have been made of gold, as far as I was concerned. Well, I have to say that after a month and a half, my expectations (for the most part) are still being met. Since I did so much research, I knew that people were a little surprised at how thin the mattress is. This did not bother me at all - I love that it supports me and I can sleep in any position without any body part falling asleep. I used to be a side sleeper 100%. Now, I can sleep on my back, on my side, and on my stomach without any issues. While I would like to think that it solved my back issues, I think my chiropractor helped; however, I do notice that my pain comes back slightly if I sleep on another mattress. So Purple for the win in helping keep my chiropractor bills at a reasonable amount! I definitely sleep cooler, which is great. My body temp runs pretty high on a regular basis, so to stay cool and not wake up all sweaty is amazing. I can still feel my partner move, but I think it is because we got the queen instead of the king. However, we don't move as much in our sleep anymore because we are sleeping a lot better than we used to. I definitely won't be returning the Purple mattress and hope to one day have one in every room of my house. I am even trying to convince family members of my awesome sleep state these days. I am thankful that the creative marketing got me hooked, and for once, I would say that this marketing doesn't lead you on. Purple delivers on exactly what they say they deliver on. So if you are questioning your decision, trust me - it really will change your life...at least while you sleep.

I found out about the purple mattress from my son who purchased one over a year ago I was trying to find something that will keep me cool but also firm and the purple mattress is both. After several days it will even start conforming to your body but not wear soft but comfortable. As for the stretchable sheets I have totally falling in love with them I know they're very expensive but they are so worth it on your skin how thin they are and they just feel great against your body. I've actually talked about the sheets so much and the mattress that my girlfriend went out and purchased her the mattress and two sets of the sheets. I love your products

My wife likes our 8 year old mattress better. She says purple is not terrible. I'm a little disappointed as the support isn't as good as I expected, sometimes I wake i up with my back a little sore. We got the mid firm maybe full firm would have been better.

The mattress obviously has great reviews and a big "fan base". We've tried multiple other 'mail-order-mattresses' and the purple definitely stood out to us. We bought one, and after a couple of weeks, we were 'broken in' to it. We slept great the first month and thought we'd keep it. I REALLY like the surface layer and the cool give it provides, though I wish there were another option or two for softer base layers. As time has gone on, we have awoken achier and achier. We haven't adjusted any other aspect of our night as far as sleep time, positions, diet, etc. Just a few weeks ago we went elsewhere and slept on a cheap mattress (as per Purple's recommendation for comparison) which was very uncomfortable in comparison. We came home and slept great the first night back on the purple, but then just got uncomfortable again and don't seem to be sleeping as well. I sleep best on my back, but part way through the night I inevitably have to turn on my side because I get too achy. Ultimately, I love the hypo-elastomeric polymer purple grid on the surface, but I think some softer options on the underlayers of foam would have made it a keeper for us. We slept on it for nearly the full 100 days to give it the benefit of the doubt, ultimately returning it. I think you'd have a hit if you decided to manufacture and sell a much lower cost "purple topper" that could be thrown on any bed! (Send me one to test when you do!)

My husband and I have needed a new mattress for a while and although I sell furniture/mattress, we both have different takes on what type of mattress we wanted. So, I did some research and we talked it over and made our decision on the purple mattress. It's amazing! I love the amount of support it gives. We both love it and couldnt be happier with the decision we made.

I was super excited about the mattres! Tried it out, it wasn't bad but unfortunately my body doesn't like firm matters. If I slept on my back I was fine, but I sleep on my side 90% of the time so my hips started hurting. So, I had no choice but to return it. I was sad to let go of it since my fiance loved it but we had to find a medium. Let me tell you, returning it was the easiest thing in the world! Oh and protection sheet is the best investment I've ever made! Rock on Purple!
