Alot of people asked for reviews of Purple. I can say they are full of promises they can not deliver. I need to return my mattress for the firm option. It is not simple nor easy. In fact I will be without a bed for WEEKS if I chose to exchange it. If I am not happy with that mattress I am not allowed to return it. The only option of communication for the process is email. I get a response 24 hours or later from the time I send my email. The bed lacks support. The quality is poor. Do not waste your time! Purp lo e is NOT recommended by me

Getting used to sleeping on the Purple mattress took some getting used to, merely since it felt more like nothing was actually beneath me. It was supportive in just the right spots and at the right amount that it just felt as the bed vanished. It's been letting my spine relax more so my lower back pain has been slowly easing as well.

As long as I can remember I constantly wake up during the night multiple times. My typical night of sleep would be 3-4 hrs go to the bathroom, sleep 1-2 hrs wake up and then basically sleep in smaller and smaller intervals once I hit about 6 hrs. We just moved, I have some lower disc issues (just sciatic pain not actual back pain) so I figured why not give the Purple Mattress a try. Although my sciatic pain at the moment has remained relatively the same, I have slept like I have never slept before. I have been in shock lately. I'm consistently sleeping 5-7 in the first go and when I go back to sleep I'm still getting another 1-2 hrs. I have been out sleeping my wife (which never used to happen). It used to be an annual occurrence, maybe, that I would sleep 7 straight hours. I have at least done that or close too it on several occasions in the past two months of owning a purple mattress. You bet we will be keeping it. In fact, my grandparents spent one night over our house and will be buying one themselves!

My wife and I slept on a memory foam mattress for years and loved it with one exception. It trapped heat. I bought the Purple Mattress and have not regretted it. After a month of sleeping on it I have not overheated once. I would buy it again and have recommended it to everyone that asked about it.

This bed is THE bed. It doesn't run hot, too firm, too soft, bumpy etc.....it's perfect. I can't feel my husband moving around nor our two dogs that conspicuously jump into the bed at 3 am. You will not regret purchasing this bed, the hype is real and the price is just icing on this comfy cake!

I have been sleeping on the Original Purple Mattress for a few weeks now and it's fantastic! I now actually look forward to getting into bed each evening. My old mattress was way beyond its lifespan so the difference is day and night (no pun intended).

I received this product very quickly. it came on a Wednesday and it is now Monday. I have slept on for it 5 nights so far and I'm not feeling anything amazing. For starters this bed is way more firm than expected and I would venture to say that the advertising is a bit misleading, this bed is in no way suitable for all sleep positions. If you like firm mattresses you may love this bed. However if you have the body type that needs a softer mattress, stay away unless you want to wake up feeling like you were punched in the ribs. In my personal experience when laying on this mattress my muscles and joints feel very tight and smashed. Overall I am disappointed because the high price point had me expecting a better quality mattress that was actually comfortable not just a firm slab of gel on top of an even firmer piece of foam. I will most likely be returning this mattress.

Great bed. Very comfortable and I always wake up refreshed. I've never had any luck with mattresses and while it would seem okay, after a week or two I would have to convince myself that the mattress was a good buy. If I'm trying to convince myself, I'm forcing a false thought that the mattress is great. Not with the Purple. No convincing needed. I've had it for a month and in my opinion is one of the best purchases ever.

i slept only 2 nights on this mattress but i woke up 10 times during the night, can't find my self comfortable on this mattress , it is too hard , my back hurts ,and don't get rest, i was wondering would it get to soften maybe with usage, or i'm to light for this mattress, 120 lb, and how can we return it if it does not work. Thank you.

When I bought this mattress, I was worried I was just buying into the brand because they have entertaining commercials and a novel concept. But after having tried out this mattress for a couple months, I can legitimately say that I love this mattress. It is extraordinarily comfortable, has virtually no bad scent (a major problem we have experienced with competitor brands); and quite honestly, Purple just seems like a solid brand that stands by their product and their relationship with the community. If there is a down-side, I would say that the unique mattress style "necessitates" some pricey accessories like special stretchy mattress cover and sheets. I'm not really sure how necessary these truly are, but we bought in anyway. In the end, it is a relatively small price if you look at it from a whole-package perspective.
