I have been sleeping on a purple mattress now for a year. It is the most comfortable mattress I have had. Most of the memory foam mattresses I tried were too soft or left me with sore joints. The original purple mattress is firm but the purple layer keeps me from getting pressure point soreness. I definitely recommend the purple mattress.

I recently moved and got my mattresses and pillows delivered shortly after that. As soon as it was all set up and I first layed on the bed it was heaven. So if u have had one of those days where your whole body hurts and you can't get comfy, then lay on a purple mattress they are no joke everything aligned and I became instantly relieved. So much it puts a smile on your face.

I was sold on the magic of the Purple mattress from the almost 5 minute commercial featured on the website. I was, maybe unreasonably, expecting to fall asleep within minutes of lying down because I thought it was going to be immensely comfortable. As far as comfort, it is ok. It feels like a typical, firm memory-foam mattress. My wife says she can feel it providing better back support for her but I'm not sure I do. I especially don't feel it on my sides like Purple advertises. I will admit that I am a heavy person at 270 pounds, but the website, at the time of purchase anyway, said that it supported up to 300 pounds for each person (those more expanded details don't seem to be there now). As such, it has started to cave in on my side and there is a clear difference between the right side and the middle. This is only getting 2-stars because my wife says it supports her back better than our previous mattress, otherwise it would be 1-start.

I had a terrible/cheap mattress. At first, this was really great. I have had to sleep on my left side because of apnea symptoms, and the mattress seemed very good in that position in the beginning. But over time, I seem to get a bit uncomfortable/sore on my left side and tend to roll to my back while sleeping. It's really comfortable on my back, but that is when the apnea issues occur. I sleep alone on this mattress, and weigh about 185. The original mattress might be just a bit too firm for me. I'll continue working with it and hopefully I'll figure out how to make it work perfectly.

The first mattress I ordered lasted about two months before it started to remember where I slept the previous night. As it got worse I turned the mattress around and in a couple of months the same thing happened. Called the mfg. and they replaced it with a new mattress. Same issues. When it gets to a point that I can't get a good nights sleep any more, I will find something else.

When my matress got lost in the mail, Purple was great about getting a search started, and when that failed, having another one sent to me. It was frustrating, but it was worth the wait. My Queen is perfect for my back issues but I recommend it for everyone.

When I ordered the purple bed I was skeptical, I spent the delivery time hoping I made the right choice. I read lots of reviews most of which were possitive however there were also plenty negative reviews, people saying it gave them back pain and that the matress was too firm. When it was finally delivered I put together the purple foundation which was very easy and looks great then unwrapped my new mattress. I dont know what all those negative people were talking about, it felt like a cloud and I never slept better in my entire life. I fall asleep faster now than I ever have and stay asleep all night. Absolutely love this bed and would recommend 100%

As the title says, my Purple mattress has completely changed my life in that my sleep quality has increased in a way that is basically unparalleled. I am a swing shift worker, I work 12 hour day shifts and then switch to 12 hour night shifts and the switchover is several times per month i.e. you never get used to a sleep schedule before you have to switch to the other shift. I have tried everything imaginable to increase my sleep quality. Some things have worked, but only to small extents. I don't normally wright reviews, but Purple is so amazing that I felt compelled to share my experience with it. I initially bought it because my wife was experiencing debilitating lower back pain and the we both liked the twin size Purple that I bought for her so much that I decided to buy a King size, and we have never looked back! I would recommend these mattresses to anyone and everyone looking to improve their sleep quality!

I was leery of the hype and obviously great marketing ability of this company. But when I received my mattress, I got great sleep, and I'm not lying about this-- my back pain went away. My old mattress had apparently been giving me some low grade, chronic lower back pain that instantly began to improve once I started sleeping on this mattress. My wife loves it at least as much as I do. It's worth the 100-day trial at least. Give it a shot. No mattress works for everyone, which accounts for some of the critical reviews, but I for one am a proud Purple fan. Thank you Purple for giving me relief and good nights sleep for an affordable price.

Checkout was easy and the mattress was delivered within a few days. The mattress (original model) could be a bit thicker/taller, but it is very comfortable. Our back pain is significantly less since we started sleeping on our new Purple mattress! The pillow, however, is awful and has its own review.
