I love this mattress, of course I was skeptical to make such a large purchase and not even be able to touch the mattress first but I went ahead and went for it. I am so glad that I did. My back hurt for the first few days, I guess from the change but now I sleep better than I ever have and feel so refreshed in the mornings. I got the pillow as well and love it. I've always had to have a down pillow but now prefer my purple pillow over my down, it is so soft.

My girlfriend and I decided to buy the purple mattress since we both were having trouble sleeping and would wake up sore quite often. We decided on the Purple mattress after a bunch of research online (I'm a pretty big guy - 6'5" 280, so mattresses will normally sag - this one does not, or at least it hasn't yet). Overall, both my girlfriend and I absolutely love this mattress! One thing to note is that there is some adjustment period, and it's real. For me, I had no problem switching right over. I will admit some sleeping positions would bother me for the first few weeks, but it was very minor and I would sleep through the night. However, my girlfriend struggled with the mattress for the first couple of weeks. She would wake up pretty sore and would complain about it, but after a few weeks she was in love and her restlessness was cut in about half. Overall, we both love the mattress and are getting some of the best sleep we have ever had (we wear Fitbits that track our sleep, and it has noticeably improved).

I have some friends that recommended the Purple mattress and all the commercials seemed legit, so we went for it. First week or so, both my husband and I would wake up with extreme back pain and now, I think our sleep quality is pretty much the same as it was on our 9year old mattress. The price is quite high for the quality also.

Sleeps cool. 6'1" 215lbs side sleeper. Perfect position. Had nagging shoulder impingement/pain for the last 2 years. bought several contraptions/pillows to alleviate discomfort. Threw them all away after this mattress. Afraid to sleep in hotels. Wish you guys were around in my 20s and 30s.

I am pretty passionate about things/products I find game changing... I have been battling what has been hands down the most challenging and difficult physical injury of my life when 3 years ago I tore my L3 disc and bulged my s1 and L4 while building my house. It was debilitating at first and after years of chiropractics, yoga, physical therapy and endless hours of a variety of self research, exercise and stretches it has mostly been on the up and up. Sleep has continued to be the biggest challenge however and waking up with pretty severe pain after 3-4 hours of sleep has been pretty normal and expected. Exploring the right combination of sleeping positions, pillows, motorized adjustable bed frames and new mattress have been just a necessary cost of the attempt to find anything that helps. After 4 different mattresses along with other items I gave in to all the marketing and decided to try the "purple" mattress. Within 2 nights, I am back to 7-8 hours of sleep and little to no pain from sleeping. It has seriously been a life saver of a solution for my injury. I finally look forward to sleep again. Although not the most amazing mattress to the first touch, when it comes to a good night sleep it has been a game changer. I recommend anyone dealing with back or other injuries where sleep positions are complicated... give their trial a shot, might be worth it. #mightbelievethehype #purple

I was extremely nervous buying a mattress online and not really being able to feel it or anything beforehand. But my husband and I were in DESPERATE need of a new mattress. After MONTHS of researching and reading and sending questions to people and countless YouTube videos, we made the decision to go with Purple. One of the best decisions we've ever made in our lives. I usually have an extremely hard time falling asleep due to insomnia, a bad rotator cuff and what I thought was an injured back for a long time. After the first night I got up and wa able to set my weenie dog on the floor with NO pain in my back. It took me a second before I realized what I had just done with no tears in my eyes and without having to stretch for like thirty minutes beforehand. My shoulder feels better as well! I used to wake up feeling so sore and in so much pain I dreaded going to bed every day. Now I find it hard to get out of bed just because I'm so dang comfortable. I have been singing the praises of this mattress to anyone that will listen, if you are on the fence I highly suggest this mattress. It is an absolute life changer.

I love the mattress & the frame!!! I sleep very well!!! & YES I have recommended it to several people.. The problem I had was the shipping.... The Mattres arrived j7st fine ( I had to wait in lobby all day because FEDX does not have access to my secure building) I got the email & text options just fine for "that day" arrival ... A week later ... I recieved email & text that platform was going to be there wednesday the 23rd of July... I waited in lobby all day ...nuthing..... No emails no texts. Thursday night I get a text " platform arriving on Saturday 26th July" .. Since I was not home I had to ask neighbors to watch out for it ... Luckily one just happened to be in Lobby... so ,I did get my platform when I got back.. Was nothappy about the delays in shipping nor the " tracking " communications. Thank you, Sharree L. Dahm

The fabric is so amazing, it is a shame to put sheets on it. I wasn't convinced it was the best until we slept on another bed. Loved coming back to the purple. Thanks for ruining every hotel bed ever. It is firmer than my husband expected, which normally causes him pain. However, with the purple there is no pain.

Here is the main point. By the time you wrap you purple wonder in a thick cloth covering, it does not really "give" as one wd expect, or as you picture illustrations suggest; it is still a hard foam mattress. My wife has big hips & scoliosis so she gets more "sinking". I am OK, but I could be sleeping on a hard form only slightly resilient surface that is not as clever as Heidi by a shot.

Insanely comfortable for my posture, wish I could have stayed on it forever. However, I have a back injury and the mattress was SO COLD I couldn't stay on it for more than 20 mins. We tried everything-- topping it with something else, padding above and below, wool, flannel, keeping it insulated from the exterior wall. Even with the room turned up to 85 degrees and me completely wrapped in blankets and tucked in, everything would be warm except the freezing cold would come up through the mattress until my spine and shoulders were aching and couldn't move. Wish so hard it would work. So so cold. Purple, if you ever make a warm version, I am so in in a heartbeat.
