I had been dealing with my old mattress for way too long. Thought I just got fat and that's why it wasn't comfortable anymore. Finally I got tired of waking up with my back hurting so I broke down and ordered a purple mattress. First night sleep I didn't move once. Woke up and was able to instantly get out of bed, no back pain at all. It's been like that every night since, good night sleep, no back pain in the morning. Couldn't be happier, just wish I could go back and time and buy this mattress back then instead of waiting as long as I did!

Ok. I just woke up from my first night's sleep on the purple mattress. First off let me say that I have had several back surgeries and still have 2 rebuilt vertebrae, 3 missing disks, 2 rods, 10 hooks, a missing rib and a titanium vice on the inside of my spine so let your imagine go as to how much pain I am used to feeling upon getting out of bed. To my great surprise and overwhelming delight I got out of bed this morning, after only one night, and was able to walk down my steps to the first floor of my house without having to go one step at a time. As I am writing this review I am actually hoping that it is really just all in my mind and that by the end I will still feel the pain I am accustomed to and will just close the browser page. When first laying down on the mattress I was unsure if it was going to work because it is such a different feel than the normal mattresses on the market (even the memory foam). I am 55 years old and am one of those people that take at least an hour, usually more, to fall asleep. Not so on the purple mattress. I don't even remember how or when it happened. I just fell asleep. Such a weird feeling after so many years of tossing and turning and finally passing out instead of going to sleep.. Let's talk heat. I wake up every morning, even in the dead of winter, burning up with no sheets or blankets on as I have kicked them off sometime in the night. Not on this mattress. Now they claim that is due to airflow but I am not sure that those little purple squares allow ANY airflow but somehow someway I woke up and wasn't exactly cool but I most certainly was not hot in the least and was still under the bedding. Yet another weird feeling. I am going to wrap this up because I could really go on and on but let me just say this, if you are in the market for a new mattress you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not at least try the purple mattress. I am sure it is not for everyone but if it can please me, a person who is NEVER satisfied with anything, and so far for me it has lived up to everything claim the company made, then you might find it as great as I do right now. I will be sure to write another review after the recommended 30 days of my trial or upon returning it to Purple which ever comes first. ORDER IT NOW! Why spend another night sleeping lousy? What have you got to lose? They say you can return it if not satisfied. PS. I am hoping to become a back sleeper in the near future now that the pain giving bed has been replaced by Purple. If you are a back sleeper this mattress is perfect for you! As I toss and turn most nights being a bigger guy my shoulders and arms go numb if I'm on my side. I would hope to eventuallyupgrade to one of their hybrid mattresses in the future. Also they have fantastic customer support! Had a small warranty issue and was answered immediately by the staff at purple who corrected it fast!

I feel compelled to write a review, even as there are thousands out there already. I'm a side sleeper with very broad shoulders, and a touch of scoliosis. I've had trouble getting comfortable for as long as I can remember, waking up with back and shoulder pain. While I can't say that this mattress has magically solved all my problems, it is by far the most comfortable and supportive mattress I've ever slept on. When I lie down at night, I get the sense that I'm lying on some futuristic spaceship mattress. The grid design is mushy and supportive at the same time. I also purchased the king size purple pillow, which is the first time I've ever felt comfortable sleeping on a single pillow.. usually a king size large pillow is too big and jacks up my neck, or I wind up using a 2-3 smaller pillows to try and build a bridge for my bottom arm to go through. I did my research for both pillows and mattress, read reviews, did price comparisons.. I almost went with a tempurpedic for twice the price, I'm very glad I didn't.. This design, for me.. is absolutely superior to memory foam. I'm very stoked on this mattress and would highly recommend it. Delivery was fine, took about a week (or two?)... I got the included sheets which are good, as the bottom fitted sheet fits snugly. I would have been really impressed if Purple included a king pillow case, to match my pillow.. but that's fine. So far, I'm very pleased and satisfied with this mattress and the service I've received from Purple.

This is an amazing mattress. I sleep deeper than I could have imagined. Unfortunately, I am a side/stomach sleeper, which means that this mattress is just a tiny bit firm for me, but I am finding out that when I gravitate over to my back I fall asleep quickly and sleep better than ever. So it seems I will be giving up my lifelong love of tummy sleep for the benefits of improved sleep overall. It's honestly worth the trade, just took me by surprise. Also, we bought everything in the Purple line. We love the mattress protector, we love (LOVE LOVE LOVE) the sheets.

I've always been skeptical when purchasing a mattress. My husband likes soft, I like firm and we could never find a good fit for us. Our friend told us about his purple mattress and we had seen the commercials on tv. We have a daughter now and wanted to go up in size and when it cane time to buy we immediately thought of the purple mattress. So far it's been wonderful! Experience is better than a mattress store and the product is great quality!

I usually don't write reviews, but this one I had to do. I have suffered from chronic back pain for over 10 years. I've tried every medical procedure, tried every type of physical therapy, acupuncture, etc. Nothing, and I mean nothing gave me relief at night and allowed me to get a good night's sleep. I saw the commercial for the Purple bed and viewed it as just another "hype" product. However, since I have tried every mattress under the sun, even the high priced "number" bed and the "memory" beds, I thought what the heck, I'll try this one because they do give you a 30 day trial period. Well, I cannot tell you how pleased and surprised I was after trying just one night. For the first time in years I slept through the night and woke up with no back pain! I purchased my purple mattress Feb 2020. It was much firmer than I liked but my husband has nasty back and neck pain so I was ready to endure some discomfort if it helped him. He was finally honest with me admitted he hates this bed and gets worse sleep on this mattress than his old cheaper Serta mattress. We both toss and turn throughout the night. Him more than me but never solid sleep. Now, fast forward two years, I get bad hip and shoulder pains if I stay in bed more than 5-6 hours. My husband and I both get better sleep on our old reclining couch. We are both in our 30's and neither of us are over weight. I would not recommend unless you don't mind a very firm bed.

I have a rare spine condition that causes a lot of pain. I cannot sleep on most mattresses without being in agonizing pain. But, this mattress supports my spine yet is soft and comfortable and I wake up in zero pain most mornings. That I thought would never ever happen for me. This mattress is great if you suffer from back, hip, or neck pain. It's made a huge difference in my life! I can get up in the morning an do things I couldn't do before. Give one a try! You won't be sorry.

My husband and I bought 3 different mattresses in a 2 year period and spent allot and I had so many issues. I have back problems as it is then shortly after buying mattress number 2 i got pregnant. By the time I was 4 months along I was sleeping on the couch I could not do it anymore. Fast forward to 6 months ago when we bought our purple bed, I found out I was pregnant again. I didnt have much hope for this bed. But let me tell you.... I was so wrong. Best money ever spent. My back feels great. Even being pregnant it supports every inch even my ever growing belly. I haven't had to waste money on a dozen different maternity pillows just to sleep at night. This bed is all I need I just wish we had it sooner. I recommend it to everyone I know that wants a new mattress. Its amazing. Must have for this family
