I'm a side sleeper, one of the biggest concerns for me before was when I'm sleeping on my side, it puts too much pressure against my shoulder. And I would try avoiding that by sleeping in this weird position where my head is side on the pillow, but my torso is only halfway turned. Purple mattress does a great job in relieving pressure from my shoulder. However, my significant other hated the bed for being too soft for him and he would rather sleep on the couch. I guess if I liked purple just a tad more I would consider leaving him, but my fiancé is too perfect to let go. Unfortunately we will have to return this mattress.

We first bought a Purple mattress for our teenage son, as a birthday gift. He is a competitive swimmer and we wanted him to get the most restful sleep possible. He loves it. A few months later, we bought one as a treat to ourselves. Both my husband an I have minor back issues, and we have had the mattress now for over a month with absolutely no pain while we sleep. I wake up rested every morning! The grid is comfortable and really conforms to each body type. We are considering these mattresses for our other two boys, as well! I would recommend this to anyone who has back problems, trouble sleeping, or anyone who has temperature-regulation issues at night.

I have always loved soft beds but as I've gotten older I have found a firmer mattress has supported my back better (I have a very physical job). Regular mattresses always end up sagging and the tempur pedic I have slept on was far too firm for my petit frame. The purple mattress is very comfortable, feels soft and giving but supportive. It has helped to eliminate the stubborn pain in my lower back. And it is great at preventing motion transfer! The only downside is the purple pillow was too low for my neck and finding a pillow to work with the mattress has been a bit of a challenge but I still love the mattress!

My husband and I were having back pain every morning when we'd wake up, so we starting researching mattresses and stumbled upon purple. It's worth EVERY penny. I hardly toss and turn anymore and my body no longer aches! I've also noticed that I've been able to sleep better through the night and haven't felt this well rested in years. And not to mention it keeps us cool, which was a huge box on the checklist for us because we'd get so hot on our memory foam mattress. Can't recommend purple enough!!!

The mattress is most comfortable. My lower back is now supported and I no longer wake up with a backache. I look forward to going to bed at night. It didn't completely eliminate the hip pain that I sometimes feel during the night, but it did lessen its intensity. I am pleased with this great mattress. It was one third the price of a recently quoted mattress at a chain retail store, making it an even greater purchase. It is also much more comfortable than the previous memory foam mattress we previously owned.

We have been sleeping on the mattress for about a month now. We weren't sure what to expect but so far we love it. We seem to sleep easier and better. Also the pillow is surprisingly comfy. I was skeptical at first because it seemed flatter than the contoured pillow I am used to, but it really works!

Ive had bad sleep patterns, and joint pain for years. When I first laid on my Purple bed I thought "this is something different" My body didn't sink in like memory foam causing sagging in my back, purple mattresses keep their form and met with my body's natural curves, and seamlessly molded to my ever moving body in bed. It has given me the best sleep Ive had in years, I'll have this mattress for the rest of my life. Ive never been so comfy every night regardless of my aches and panes from the days activities. The only down side is its' harder to get out of bed when all I want to do is lay in comfort all day. S'est la vie. I really cannot recommend this bed enough, you've got to feel it to believe it. And the 100 nights return policy is remarkable, but I knew by night one I was NOT giving this bed up. Where you sleep sets the stage for how your body heals and repairs its self mentally, physically and spiritually. I feel so grateful to have this and know every night I get to go home to comfort and healing. self care is key to a happy life, and this is one self care I'm gad I invested in.

I have back issues, he has back issues and fibro. When it was time to replace our mattress he wanted this one because of the egg commercial. He is able to sleep decently, and the bed has a minimum of movement. No egg test for though. The bed seemed comfortable for a while but honestly I still wake up in muscle and bone pain everyday. I had hoped by waiting for a couple of months my body would adjust. Not for me. If my husband were not enjoying it, I would have returned it by the second month. I certainly do not think I would have spent 1000 on a mattress alone had I known it would have felt like this.

If you are the kind of person that values sleeping without waking up uncomfortable, being comfortable prior to falling asleep, and you like money- buy this mattress. THIS IS BETTER THAN MEMORY FOAM! You will not get hot in this bed. Great work, Purple.

I expected it to possibly be too soft. However, while it does conform too cradle you, it is comfortably firm. At first, I thought it too firm. I just had to give myself a day or two to adjust (not used to the lack of springs). When I can get another, I will probably get one for my granddaughter as well.
