Had the most restful night's sleep on it since day one. Love Purple's energy, no squeak bed frame, the purple bed, and all the wonderful sleep I've gotten. The only downside is that with the no squeak bed frame, my son may hurt himself while jumping on the bed and I wouldn't know he was jumping. But I do live in apartment, so the no squeaking makes my neighbors happy when I have adult time with my wife.

Prior to "Purple" I dreaded bed time because it meant pain, discomfort, and hours of tossing & turning before I fell asleep, usually due to pure exhaustion. The problem was that regardless of mattress type, pressure against my hips, glutes, and sciatic nerve resulted in painful, sleepless nights. Now, with "Purple" I look forward to bedtime because I am rewarded with pain-free sleep, lots of sleep! Thank you "Purple".

My other mattress was about 5 years old and I would wake up every morning with bad lower back pain. Since I switched to purple I feel so much better. I do have to say the texture of the mattress is a little weird and takes awhile to get used to. I still get a little hot at night with think sheets but not as hot as I used to get.

I thought my original mattress was bad because it started to sink slightly and my back was aching every morning I woke up. Turns out that I needed physical therapy. My "old" 3 yr old mattress wasn't hurting me anymore but I had already ordered the Purple. Well, I have no regrets about ordering. My limbs never fall asleep and even though I don't get enough hours in, I get quality sleep. I'll take quality over quantity anyday. P.S. Get your back evaluated before you make a big investment!

As a back pain sufferer, this bed literally solved all my problems. Perfect balance of firmness and support, contours to my body, and makes me feel instant relief the second I lay down. I've never felt more refreshed when I wake up either. Cannot recommend this mattress enough. IM IN LOVE!

Had a nectar but it was a little warm and softer than we preferred. So far happy with purple and definitely sleeps cooler than any previous mattress I've ever had and we got the original purple not even the newer options that are probably even cooler

We switched from a 15 year old Sleep Number to a Purple a few weeks ago. From the very first morning after my husband wasn't limping when he got out of bed in the morning! Neither of us are achy and sore when we get up. And its wonderful not to even be able to feel when one of us gets up or changes position!

After spending fifteen years sleeping on a very soft pillow-top mattress, the Purple mattress has been a pretty drastic change. After a few weeks, my wife and I are not yet blown away by the Purple mattress. While feel like it cradles and supports well, we miss the soft feel of our previous bed.

Love love love, from day one we are about 2 months in and it's still so comfortable! Neither my husband or myself went through a transition period where we didn't sleep well. I saw other review say the mattress was too soft I definitely did not think so I actually found it to be soft but firm. My boys 4 and 2 tried rumping on it after we got it on our bed frame and they were sad that they couldn't bounce around the same as our old ****** spring mattress, lol the jokes on them because it's perfect for quiet no movement sleep. My husband used to toss and turn most of the night now he pretty much stays in the same position (side or back) all night. I've usually been a side or tummy sleeper but I can now sleep even on my back and feel comfortable in my lower back. Easy to open right out of the shrink wrap and comes to true size within seconds. Love love love please buy this bed!

Unfortunately, the mattress was too soft for us. At first it was nice to lay on and we were excited to get a GOOD night sleep after waiting to get a new bed for so long. We tossed and turned for like 10 nights straight before we decided we just can't take it anymore. Wejust couldn't get a good nights sleep. On top of that we also had some crazy nightmares and dreams every single night must be that new mattress technology, not sure. It was like taking 5 melatonin's every night but waking up 3-4 times a night and having psychotic dreams. It may be for some sleepers but not for us. Sorry.
