In the past I've tried the old spring mattress, then the foam, then the memory foam and so on. Had good experiences, had bad ones. But they ALL had something in common: They feel like a mattress. Then one day you try something new, that looks like a mattress but doesn't feel like anything you have ever felt before. And that day is when I bought my purple. At first I was skeptical but that very first night my body decided it was the best purchase ever. So thank you Purple!!

We had high hopes about this mattress but have been very disappointed..Been sleeping on it for six months now and have more aches and pains than ever. It is too soft for us. Wishing now that we had not kept it after the 100 days. We're back to mattress shopping again. Sorry, we really wanted this to be the perfect mattress but it has turned out being a loss for us.

This mattress is by far the most comfortable and supportive mattress I have ever used. I used to wake up with a stiff and sore neck and lower back. Now with my Purple mattress I wake up pain free and well rested. I do not toss and turn like I did with my old mattress.

We ordered the Purple because despite having an incredibly dreamy pillow top mattress that you would literally melt into, I was not sleeping well. I would wake up, even on the weekends, often before the sun came up due to back pain. The worst part was that I didn't just wake up, but was forced to get out of bed or the pain would just intensify. It was miserable and I missed being able to wake up with my husband. In comes Purple. I have to say, I was reluctant to try a new mattress, because despite the pain my bed was causing me, it was so heavenly to crawl into at night. I was so hesitant, in fact, that my pillowtop lived in my guest bedroom for the entire trial period- just in case. The first night on the Purple was different. I didn't melt into the bed. My husband loved it immediately, but I'm stubborn and wasn't sold- even though my back already was feeling better. Eventually, I got over the fact that I no longer jumped into what felt like a marshmallow of a mattress and embraced the beauty of the Purple. I sleep comfortably and can stay in bed all day without back pain now. It's been a great experience and I finally even let go of the pillow top. Also, I'm an incredibly hot sleeper. My husband calls me a polar bear. Purple has been extremely helpful for that as well, no more night sweats!

I have only slept on this Purple mattress for a month. However, in that time frame I have enjoyed it immensely. Post back surgery, going from my old normal mattress with a thick memory foam topper that stayed conformed to me, even while I wasn't laying on it, to this has been a definite "money well spent" purchase. I sleep however is comfortable to me at the time, mostly from back to side to back again. I still preposition repeatably in my sleep, although I do not wake up more score and it is no longer a challenge to get myself out of bed anymore. Besides the normal struggle of not wanting to leave a comfortable bed that we all struggle with every morning of course.

Had the mattress for a little over a month and are extremely satisfied with comfort and sleepability. All the positive qualities advertised for the Purple are spot on. My only reservation at this point is I'm having the perception that the mattress is "wearing in" where I sleep. I am an edge sleeper and it seems to me that the support might be diminishing. I'm not convinced of it yet and it doesn't change my 5 star rating at this point, but I'll be paying close attention in the weeks and months to come.

I have been looking on and off for a new mattress for 2 years because I had a spinal stimulated but in my back due to permanent nerve damage I suffered while in the military. I have not been able to sleep on my back for 2 years so I would go and try all different mattresses and finally I was able to try a purple mattress. I tried every one of the purple mattresses and I was able to lay on my back on the purple 2. I don't wake up in pain in the middle of the night due to me turning over to my back anymore. I can't say how wonderful my sleep is now because of this mattress. I have the pillow too and no more headaches due to my neck hurting. I would just say to anyone with back problems please go try this mattress out before buying any other mattress. You will love the purple mattress.

Spent days on review sites and Youtube watching reviews trying to decide on Casper, Nectar, Puffy, or Purple. I have used memory foam for decades and decided to give Purple a try due to the unique technology behind it. I am so glad I did, and my wife and I will never be going back. It has solved all our problems overnight. We have been sleeping on it for about two weeks and we are no longer hot at night, have back issues, and are sleeping more completely through the night. The model we have is the original Purple Mattress King size, not the hybrid. For our average size and weight, the thickness and size are perfect. The top layer of material used is very responsive like an inner spring mattress but without the discomfort. The only drawback with this material is the mattress does transfer motion ever so slightly more than a standard memory foam. This however is not a deal breaker and I have not noticed it after the few nights of sleeping on it. The firmness is slightly more on the side of firm to medium firm. Sitting on it you sink right in, laying on your side you can feel this firmness in more detail. I thought I would hate it as I prefer a very soft mattress, but after just a few nights I am sold forever. With this additional support came the relief in my lower back pain and the longer sleep times have helped with feeling more refreshed during the day. I use a sleep monitor and tracked the difference. I am getting 15 more minutes of REM sleep and 45 more min of deep! These numbers do not seem like much but in the long term they are huge in helping your body recover. Delivery was good and arrived on time. For proper delivery, especially a King, this should have been more on the white glove side. If white glove delivery was an option, I would have paid for it. The older FedEx delivery man who delivered this by himself, was very overwhelmed. Why would they accept such a large awkward package for delivery by one person? Had I not coincidentally been home at the same time to help, the task would not have been completed to my door only to the garage or more likely the street. This in turn would have left it in the rain until our return later in the day. Our driveway is very steep making freight delivery impossible without a forklift or team effort. Some may not have as much of an issue with this but worth noting. Overall, I would highly recommend giving this a try. It is a fantastic product that really shines when we wake up feeling refreshed and without any more back pain!

We've been sleeping on our Purple mattress now for several months. We get a good night's sleep on it every night! I love how one of us can turn over or get in or out of bed without it disturbing the other person. I especially appreciate it because I am a light sleeper. It feels like you're sleeping on memory foam but doesn't make you get too warm like memory foam does. The other amazing thing is that my husband prefers harder beds and I prefer soft beds, but yet we are both content with the firmness/cushiness of the Purple mattress. Not sure how it does that, I'm just glad that it does!

I haven't even had my mattress for a week yet and Im already obsessed! I am a petite side sleeper and I absolutely love the way that the purple mattress cradles my pressure points without lacking in the support. Its so comfortable and unlike any other bed I have ever slept on. Its' the perfect combination of soft and firm at the same time. As far as the temperature regulation goes, this thing is the best. I live in a very hot climate and even with the AC blasting, I always wake up every night in a sweat puddle. No more with my new Purple! the cooling benefits of this mattress are unlike anything else. I am finally able to have the fluffy down comforter of my dreams without overheating while I sleep! I'm literally blown away! I'm so glad I chose to spend a little extra to get this bed over some the other bed in a box competitors. It is worth every penny!
