I purchased this for my son. Who is a truck driver for US Xpress. He's also a military veteran with back problems. USX gave him a free mattress which he used for nearly a year but found it made his back problems worsen. Since he has gotten this mattress he has not made mention to his back pain and when I ask him, he says it's completely gone. Thank you so much Purple!!

I always liked really firm mattresses because they were more supportive, but I didn't realize I was sacrificing comfort for support. The Purple 4.0 solves this for me, and cradles you while keeping your body in line! It's awesome!! Originally bought the Purple 3.0, and received it two weeks after placing our order (a few weeks sooner than expected based on their time estimate on the confirmation email). We decided after a couple of weeks that it was too firm for us, so called for an exchange to upgrade to the Purple 4.0. Customer service was a breeze, and we received the Purple 4.0 two weeks later. We have been sleeping on it for two months. BEST SLEEP EVER >3

I got rid of my old mattress because it was firm. I sleep on my side. I'm athletic built and weigh 165lbs. I was waking up 4 or 5 times a night with a numb arm. With the purple mattress, that number has been reduced to 2 or 3 times. There's is definitely some pressure. I am still waking up with numb and sore arms. I really thought this was going to be the mattress that solved this issue I've been having for years but, I was wrong. I also have the purple pillow which I renamed purple blob. It's pretty much useless at 10 times heavier than the average pillow and way to slim/low to sleep on. Try sleeping on your side with the purple blob and your neck is instantly twisted.

My husband and I have searched high and low for the perfect mattress for a long time. Mattress shopping has to be the worst thing in the world! Can you really imagine sleeping all night on something you laid on for 2 minutes in a store?! Then you haul the thing home to find out you hate it. The fact that this was delivered to our door and there was a no hassle 100 day trial we had nothing to lose! It has been the best purchase we have made in a long time. No regrets here!

I really wanted to love this bed. People I know love this bed. I have tried it for over a month and I don't think I've had a single night where I was able to sleep in bed all night. I often sleep great for the first 4-5 hours, but then my lower back or hips get really sore. One night I woke up in the night and it felt like my hip was dislocated. I couldn't go back to sleep for a long time and I could hardly walk the next day (but I got better the day after that). I think this would be a good bed for other people. I have chronic pain and inflammation issues so it's probably just me. If I could sleep for all night how well I sleep the first half of the night on purple it would be the best bed ever. But after more than a month, I think I need to try something else.

I absolutely LOVE this bed!! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality sleep. I was a chronic insomniac for over decade, but now my sleep problems have disappeared. I used to toss and turn all night because I couldn't get comfortable. I would get so hot, I would wake up drenched in sweat. I was told I was at risk for developing carpal tunnel syndrome because I was cutting off my circulation in my sleep. I had constant backaches, especially when waking up. Purple has changed all of that! I could tell after the very first night that I had slept much more deeply than I ever had before. I did wake up sore for about a month after getting it, but it was because my body was adjusting to the new bed. My spine was straightening out during the night, since this bed provides such wonderful support compared to other beds. I know for a fact because I've become an inch taller in the past year. My health has significantly improved because of better circulation and sleep quality. I used to struggle to get out of bed in the morning, and now I pop right up, happy to start each day! ~If you are sore at first, give it time. Your body is healing from the damage from your old mattress. Your spine is realigning, and that can cause soreness. I've had this bed for a year now, and my whole life has improved, starting with my health.

I took a chance buying a Purple based on word of mouth, and knew that if I did not like I would not bother sending it back. The gamble paid off; I have had no back or neck pain, and love the soft yet firm support the mattress provides. I am very please with the purchase, and have to admit that I do like the purple better than my sons Casper mattress, as it is cooler and provides more edge-of-bed support.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a little over a year ago. I'm normally in pain every day. However, since I was bought my purple mattress as a house warming gift, I have not been in pain or had a flare up since... its been 5 months since I moved in and not once have I been in pain. I can not speak up enough about how this mattress has helped me. And I'm absolutely in love with my pillow too! Thank you for the best five months I've had in a while!

We have had a king size mattress for about 3 months. We like it a lot, but I wouldn't say a 10..... maybe an 8, or 8.5. While the price IS good, it's not great. While it's very comfortable, I wouldn't say it's life changing comfortable. We are very happy, but were hoping for WOW!

It's comfortable yes! I agree that only mattress cover and sheets used should be purple what a difference in comfort and flex for the mattress. On my back it is way wonderful and feels great on the hips; however when sleeping on my side which is my preference I feel like it needs to be a bit softer on my shoulders. I must say this is still a million times better than our last mattress and will purchase again but go with a purple 3
